Never again booking flights with Booking.com

Booked a flight via Booking.com and cancelled it a month ago. Now I am complete at airline's mercy on the timeline of receiving that payment. All Booking.com people do is to tell me to "rest assured" and it is annoying.

Stayed at a Best Western in Tucson and…

Stayed at a Best Western in Tucson and discovered bed bugs that have been there for a while. Staff claims there was nothing there even though I caught one and showed them. Manager was very not helpful at all and we never received an apology or any discount. At first they took the charges off and now today recharged me. Never will I stay at a Best Western again

Amazon refused to publish a bad review as follows.

I purchased a Hotlight android tablet from Amazon in January 2025, and it came with a paper from Servicefortesting offering a £15 Amazon voucher for a review of the Hotlight tablet. You need to jump through a number of hoops before they say they will process the voucher- but then you have to be patient, very very patient- eternity!After about a month, the back of the tablet case fell off and buttons fell into it, stopping it from working but luckily Amazon refunded me.This review of Amazon is because I gave a bad review on their site for the laptop, and also the apparent fraudulant servicefortesting offer, and they would not publish it on their site! This is stopping their customers from knowing how bad Hotlight tablets, and the conduct of the dishonourable servicefortesting actually is! Shame on you Amazon!!

I am very disappointed in Chegg’s over-the-top security system. Suspending my account twice for the same issue is absolutely unnecessary and inconvenient. I went approximately 5 days with no access to my account while paying for it with no reimbursement. Very disappointed and I will be telling others how I feel.

We first called BB when we suddenly found ourselves in need of a refrigerator replacement. On the phone we were advised we had to visit the store. At the store the sales people contradicted the advice we’d gotten and told us they couldn’t handle the purchase in the store. After 45 minutes of waiting, someone on the store was able to telephone the proper appliance sales person. After being told our replacement would take six months, we decided to downgrade to GE from Viking. Five service appointments later, that unit was replaced by another GE that arrived with the same problem. We were then advised that GE made junk. It was then that we paid several thousand dollars to upgrade to the Viking unit. Several months of waiting has seen two canceled delivery appointments, as we now are awaiting our third appointment a few weeks from now. We’ve been told both that this unit is back ordered and that it’s sitting in a nearby wharhouse. There’s no way to determine which advice is truthful. It’s now 15 months since this began. There has been no way to calll anyone in the store. The only people who pick up a telephone for customer service are in Panama City; where different representatives provide contradictory advice. My wife grew tired of the whole thing long ago: Making repeated plans to meet delivery people who don’t show up. Lessons learned. If there’s no unit in stock, find a store that has what we need and has sales people who are accessible by phone.

I will NEVER shop at another one of your satanic stores ever again! I cut my red card into pieces and wont be using that again. How dare you promote this disgusting filth to our children. Tuck and blind clothing in children’s sizes? What tf is wrong with you??? I saw the books you had on display for 4-8 year olds. Really Target? Books teaching them about drag and blowies? I hope the CEO reads each and every one of these comments and hangs his head in shame. Or maybe he’s a Satan worshiper too? I can’t wait to see this corporation crumble. I’m going to help make that happen along with my entire family and friends!

Fabulous if you have to compute across multiple platforms. Mac, two versions of Windows, unix and dos all on one laptop. And it works.

Lyft is horrible

Lyft is horrible. They seen any car even if it doesn’t have a bumper or a trunk. They said random drivers even if they says a certain name a different driver shows up. They will say different cars and everything. Orville do not get your money back if the driver is rude or inaccurate. They just let anybody drive. Do not get a lift.

Impossible to cancel the subscription

Impossible to cancel the subscription. I was tricked into in at a tube station, on my way to work, and was assured that it was easy to cancel it after the trial period. It wasn't - there was nowhere to click on the online account, and when I emailed them there was no reply. Now £44.00 has just been debited from my card.I am going to have to cancel my card and order a new one - looking at the other reviews, it looks like they will just keep charging me for ever. Extremely annoyed with this. As for the magazine itself, I will never read it again.

Review of dropbox

DO NOT USE! Danger of loss of data.

This messes up your file system by replicating on an external storage but it messes up your fie system and if your storage exceeds a basic level it demands a cost for more storage. It has taken me a long time to try to gain control of my files and have lost much by removing the crappy Dropbox.it moves files without your permission to an online source. Deleting Dropbox means you lose the files. Totally outrageous and I think illegal.This system needs a xxx health warning.

Pile of trash, avoid at all costs.

Echoing some of the other reviews. Cengage is frustrating, counterintuitive and not worth the savings versus just buying a hard copy.You can't easily flick through sections or chapters. Once you reach the end of a section you have to exit the section and go back to the menu. This includes navigating through sections within a chapter, getting to review questions etc. There are no page numbers relevant to the text version either, so good luck working out what you need if your unit coordinator requests you to read specific page numbers. Only works in some browsers - e.g won't open appendices in chrome so don't bother. Tables etc aren't shown in full either, despite having a full screen able to display. They open in a SMALLER secondary window, meaning you have to scroll and can't view the whole thing. Plus you can't scroll through the text on the main window either while viewing, so if different aspects of the table or appendix are referred to in different places you have to close and re-open.Just buy a hard copy.
