I love playing chess but because of my PTSD and ADHD I sometimes have rage quits of the game, I never disconnect I resign but today i received an email rom admin threatening to punish/block me from playing. Tried to reach out to explain but you can not get past the AI bots.Totally disgusting behavior treating Veterans with our illness like this

This review is specifically for the Illinois Beach State Park Hotel - Best Western.On the positive side, management did allow us to cancel our room without a penalty.On the negative side, the front desk literally said they could not believe me when I explained what I had been told when I called ahead and would not honor it. Be wary of a hotel who does not trust it's guests and who does not honor what it's employees tell them.I was looking for a beautiful New Year's Day experience for myself and my husband and instead we were treated as though we were not to be trusted by the front desk. I reserved a lakefront balcony room and called to find out if we could pay to add on the New Year's brunch even though we were checking in on New Year's Day rather than New Year's Eve (the brunch was part of New Year's Eve package, but had been open to public in past). One time I called and was told the restaurant was not open so they could not tell me, another time I called and was told they would find out but they never got back to me, the third time I called, the employee was away from phone for a bit and came back and said it would be allowed and it would be $7.99 each. Great!We left our home at 8:30am New Year's morning and arrived at 10am on New Year's Day. The front desk clerk said she did not know anything about it and so we would not be allowed to join the brunch. I explained that I had been given approval over the phone and she literally said, "I can not just take your word for it". It made me wonder if this hotel has many guests who lie to them? I have not ever been treated that way checking into a hotel before, and it felt pretty awful. I explained we left home new year's morning and arrived at the hotel hours ahead of check-in because I had been told by an employee by phone that we would be allowed to have a charge added and go to brunch. I asked if there might be a note in the system, and there was a note however because the note was worded "customer requested New Year's Brunch" rather than customer approved or with a cost listed, the clerk just kept saying I can't take your word for it and I can't let you in.We escalated to manager, who either was also not willing to believe me or felt he had to back up employee. He was polite, and at least he agreed to let us cancel our room. I was literally in tears at this point (husband has dementia, and this was a big deal for us to try travelling together and a way to try and be optimistic about the new year). Plus it was new year's day and meant to be special. There was no way I could have stayed, nor will I probably ever stay at this hotel again.I do wonder at the quality of decision making for a hotel in the hospitality industry to tell a customer one thing on the phone, not honor it, and try to tell the customer that it is the customer who is wrong. The manager arrived 15 minutes before the buffet was to end. I am pretty sure they ended up throwing out the buffet food we would have eaten and I am sure they did not re-book the room. So they probably lost a couple of hundred dollars which I guess is fitting karma for telling us one thing on the phone and then not honoring it. I can still not wrap my mind around the idea that the front desk clerk and manager would think I would make this up? I was trying to create a great New Years experience for us and made multiple calls to find out if it was okay. If we had been told "no" I would have accepted that and we could have made other plans. Don't tell us one thing on the phone and not honor it. Yes. I'm angry.

I can't praise Amazon enough, I find the delivery times, price and range of products outstanding. Delivery is always prompt because they use An Post. I have had to contact customer care a few times and found the representatives knowledgeable and helpful. I use Amazon more that any other shopping platform. Well done to all at Amazon.

Typical government scamming people and making dealing with them near to impossible. I sold a car to a dealer, the dealer didn't register the car and I sent multiple letters to them to confirm I am no longer the owner as the online option does not work and the phone line either states it is busy or it cuts you off. After weeks of trying to get through I just simply couldn't. I then tried to appeal but guess what you need to ring them to request the appeal document that you cant get through to anyone to do so. Biggest scam going. I am now paying tax on a vehicle I haven't owned in over 3 months and a fine which is quite ridiculous. I emailed them they just send the same email telling you to pay and you cant reply. I also haven't received my logbook for over 3 months on a van I bought and I cant speak to anyone to do so.

Santander bank!My son Opened an account with Santander to pay in his wages and direct debits. After 3 weeks they have said they are closing his account! He has been given no notice and his account is frozen. He can’t pay in his wages which are due on the 1st of October and they won’t pay his direct debits! How is this even allowed. He can’t pay any of his bills and they are leaving him in a very difficult situation. He is not overdrawn and has been asked to make a 50 Mike round trip to get his money out! Hang your heads in absolute shame treating customers like this. Wonder if you will pay all financial costs incurred for him now being u able to pay his rent, direct debits and buy food!!!!!! I am appalled and they won’t even give an explanation for this! Avoid this bank!!

Bought a PS5 from the site, it came with broken CD drive. Sony did nothing to help. Made several attempts to call and ask for help. They provided false promises and did not follow through with anything. I've had enough. I lost 500-600 bucks and I'm tired of fighting for my refund. Buy at your own risk. Good luck.
