Santander bank!My son Opened an account with Santander to pay in his wages and direct debits. After 3 weeks they have said they are closing his account! He has been given no notice and his account is frozen. He can’t pay in his wages which are due on the 1st of October and they won’t pay his direct debits! How is this even allowed. He can’t pay any of his bills and they are leaving him in a very difficult situation. He is not overdrawn and has been asked to make a 50 Mike round trip to get his money out! Hang your heads in absolute shame treating customers like this. Wonder if you will pay all financial costs incurred for him now being u able to pay his rent, direct debits and buy food!!!!!! I am appalled and they won’t even give an explanation for this! Avoid this bank!!
