Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time CNET was the place to go for informed, unbiased reviews. Easy to navigate and a valuable tool to use before making electronics purchases. No more. Once it became the property of CBS the decline was underway. It now fits the definition of a useless website. Navigation is pointless, searches of the site never bring you to the information you are looking for. The reviews lack any critical insights, 4 stars seems to be the default. The site has devolved into a giant marketing tool. What a shame.

Undeserved refund

My sisters band used this service and I along with anyone else who gave them a tip were issued a refund because it was assumed they were selling sexual content. They are just a regular band. Clearly they never did a proper investigation. Next time I see someone using this service, I’ll just give them a tip directly.

Beware LG's Service. It isn't...

Purchased an LG C2 model television. From the outset the unit would randomly power itself off and then back on. Because we have two other TVs in the house and this one was little used, it took a month for me to call it in.First call the LG "tech" took me through a long list of menu items to check. Problem here is that she didn't have an updated copy of the menu that was on my televison so I had to hunt around until I found the items she wished to check. Good job LG. Another issue is that LG supposedly has an app that allows their techs to go into the customer's TV and check menu items but hers wasn't working. Good job LG. We left off with me performing a factory reset on the TV which takes a lot of time so we ended the call. That was 45 minutes I'll never get back.Well fast forward to a week later (today) when I called again because the power off condition was not resolved. Again a long checklist of troubleshooting steps but this time hampered by a very poor phone connection. Eventually she had me hold while she attempted to reset her phone connection. That took 15 minutes and when she came back on the line she couldn't hear me at all. She said she was going to attempt to reset her phone again. After 20 minutes of me holding I finally hung up and only then discovered that she had sent an text saying that SHE was going to hang up and call me right back. Of course my phone doesn't notify me of texts when I already on a call so.....So here I sit with a $2800US television which is useless. I've spent nearly 30 in IT, most of it working with hardware. I know I to diagnose equipment and I can recognize when components are defective as opposed to an issue with software or settings. This thing needs a component replacement but LG seems to want to do everything but that.Almost 15-years ago I was in an appliance store looking at an LG refrigerator. One of the salespersons of some 14 years of experience came up to me and advised that I consider another brand. She cited LG's service and parts availability as the reason for her recommendation. Wish now that I had the hindsight to extend her warning to all of LG's products....

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. 8 have direct instructions on my delivery option page, that all parcels must be left at my flat door, as I am a disabled customer. Yet again this evening, the amazon driver left the parcels where I was not able to get them and they were not at my door. Yet again, I contacted amazon through the chat function. Got passed pillar to post..... ended up being passed to 5 different employees who kept repeating themselves and were not actually helping me, before they decided to end the chat upon me telling them that clearly, amazon discriminate against disabled customers. As a result of this, I have now cancelled my prime membership and will NEVER use amazon again.... EVER!!!!

Great app

We've been using it for more than half a year now and not long ago have bought a paid subscription. Great app design, a lot of monitoring customization features, huge amount of alerting pipelines ranging from email and push notifications to pagerduty and even telegram. And on top of that a wonderful support service, who helped find a couple of solutions for a problem just within 24h. Definitely would recommend.

Honestly, this was perhaps the best professional service experience I have had in years. WPBeginner Pro Services did everything they said they would. They were committed to getting it right. Communication was frequent, personal and friendly. We held video meetings for kickoff, technical checks, and handoff. I did not know much about website development, and some of my requirements turned out to be a little trickier than expected, but they accommodated. The whole team was friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the process. It is not easy to find reliable website developers. UPS = Unbelievably Poor Service

UPS = (Unbelievably Poor Service) lives upto to its name, yet again.I have been buying on the Internet for over 20 years now. In all that time I have consider myself fortunate to have had only three deliveries made (Sort Of) by UPS.The 1st, undelivered. Never to be seen again. The 2nd, initially lost, turned up 10 days late. The 3rd, 15th May 2025; delivery slot 14:10 to16:10. I received an email @ 13:56; "Your Driver is Arriving Soon!": "Your Parcel is Almost There!", and was it?, if you guessed No, you win a Coconut.Around 17:30 I used the UPS's app "Follow my Delivery" to see where abouts the UPS Courier was in real-time. I Couldn't see the Courier! However, I did see his vehicle which was parked up at the UPS Depot Marsh Barton Exeter.A UPS email update received @19:20."Your delivery has been rescheduled". Same time, same address, and I have doubt with the same pathetic service.In future when I wish to make a purchase on line, and before I click on Buy Now, I shall phone/email the vendor asking which delivery service they will be using. If they can not guarantee It Will Not Be by UPS, I shall reply Thanks but No Thanks. I earnestly suggest any other victims of UPS's services should consider the action.

Arrived late, but more concerning the product is rubbish. No instructions, and most of the pins, against which the curve is formed do not fit into the hole, not fit for purpose. Do not purchase one of these! We seem to have consistent problems with Temu. Will not deal with them again.
