Review of alamy
I joined Alamy in 2018, and had a portfolio of around 5,500 images. However, decided to stop using it due mainly to three issues.A few years ago, Alamy revised the commision rates. All new contributors start at a 40% rate, and alam's year starts 1st July. Should any contributor not achieve a minimum of $250 sales during any subsequent year, the payout will be at the Alamy Silver rate of 20%, and as I found out, if multiple purchases are made at the same time by the same buyer which take you into Gold - the 40% rate - they will still be paid at the Silver rate.Issue #2 is the usual rate I am receiving is $15, for which the buyer may, in perpituity, use the image on social media, websites and print runs of up to 5,000. I am selling prints on eBay for personal use only, and receive about half that amount (I am referring to what Alamy pays me).Issue #3 is what is going on with Alamy QC? Emails confirming whether your latest submission was successful or not recently stopped, and more importantly, I have had an image rejected because it contains "unsuitable material" Alamy's guide helpfully explains that this may be due to (but not necissarily) glamour, pornography, or copyright issues. The image concerned is of a Lisbon tram. I have requested an explanation, but alamy have not replied. I posted the same on the contributor forum, but no comment or advice forthcoming. My account has been frozen, and then I receive an email congratulating me on my submission being successful, and Alamy is looking forward to receiving my next submission!
Review of wayfair
This company sells items it doesn’t actually have!. I ordered an air conditioner July 9 from Wayfair, in part because of the expected delivery date and also because of the price. But Best Buy was offering it for the same price. The Expected delivery date was July 13. On July 12, I checked to see that everything was in order because a friend was coming to help me install it. I was shocked to discover that they had changed the delivery day. It now said it would be SHIPPED on July 25. I had received NO NOTIFICATION of this change. By the time I discovered it, that particular model had sold out everywhere else. The only two options I was offered was to wait or cancel the order. So I have to wait at least two additional weeks during one of the worst heat waves in New York City history before I can get one, or cancel the order. After a lengthy discussion with a manager, I was finally offered, begrudgingly , a 27% discount on the item.I had a problem with Wayfair once before. I can’t believe I gave them a second chance. I will never order from them again! This "issue was resolved"when I canceled the order and bought one that was actually available on Amazon.

Review of themeforest
The theme I purchased is beautiful but somewhat confusing. You have multiple ways of building the theme one of which is Wpbakery. When you purchase the theme it is not clear after uploading it that WPbacker is already part of the theme so in my case I paid another $75 for a license I will not use. Also, the documentation jumps around a lot. I think I am going to be happy with the result but it is a real test of my determination to continue with it. Oh, and I submitted a support ticket over 2 days ago and have heard nothing back yet. Not to mention I paid for the extra 6 months of support.

Review of Etsy
Etsy protects sellers who break purchase contracts and leave buyers hanging. Despite a clear deadline, no delivery and no communication. I'm now forced to involve a lawyer. They closed my case almost instantly after i opened it.Customer support via telephone? Joke. Not available... but first you can choose your country. Customer support via chat - not helpful at all.

Review of depop
The help center is a complete joke. I have been completely and utterly scammed multiple time after receiving shoes that came with the shoes poorly glued on and falling off or a bag with the straps cut so short the bag is virtually unsellable of the seller was honest in their listing. Depop help center told me “these items were as described”. 300$ down the drain I hate this company how can they be so incompetent

I'm not too sure how much I trust you guys, I've never gotten a job from your site, and when I click on certain jobs, I get forward to other sites, that look just like yours, and I have to fill out profiles, and I get tons of spam email

Shocking customer service. Item not delivered to my house. I had evidence of no delivery yet they keep saying "But we have delivery proof". Which consisted of a word doc saying "Item Delivered"Every email received is from someone different and they don't acknowledge anything you've said in a reply. They used to be good but have gone massively down hill.
Review of amazon
Too many times we are notified our order was delivered and it wasn't. Amazon does nothing about the delivery companies lieing about deliveries to make their numbers look good. We should be allowed to charge Amazon for all the lies and headaches and on top they tell you "wait up to 10 more days for delivery". Just called customer service to ask why I keep being charged $15.98 twice a month for my subscription. I have the bank statements to prove it, she tells me no there aren't 2 charges, that I and my bank are wrong. I have had enough with Amazon's bull****.

Review of later
We hired a contractor to provide social media for our foundation and had no idea that we had been placed on a subscription. Later and the contractor were used for only two months last year. When the charge appeared we were shocked and had no idea as each expense for our small foundation takes away the dollars going to our mission. It was impossible to find a person to speak to. Finally, we found an email and were told that although they had a no refund policy they sometimes offer one on a case to case basis. We explained the situation and were told three times that we would not be refunded. We have never encountered this type of customer service. Make sure that you or your contractor know exactly what you are dealing with before you submit your credit card.
