Review of sage

They never answer the phone!

Had Sage for 15 years and we want to cancel to replace it with one of the newer more relevant platforms. Surprise surprise you can only cancel by speaking to some one - and guess what - they never answer the phone. Having given up 4 days in a row I've now cancelled my direct debit. I've missed a couple of their calls and now they've stopped calling. Obviously they can be as poor as they like about answering the phone but I've gotta be there, poised, waiting, life on hold, tense and ready to spring into action just incase they contact me. When did dealing with people like Sage all get so awful. When did the money you give people every month get you so little. When did these huge firms decide it was ok to take your money every month and treat you with complete contempt.2nd edit! Woeful. I missed a couple of calls. They left a message asking me to call them, so I called them back on the number they called me on. It doesnt take incoming calls. So I tried the main line again and guess what nobody replies. Sage - outdated software and impossible to contact - they are not long for this world.Another edit! Ive emailed them 3 times since the last time and still no reply. Theyve emailed me saying they may suspend my account! Suspend it! Ive been trying to close it for 3 months. And guess what - you cant reply to the email. You can only cancel your account by phone and they dont answer the phone. Genius! Thats the way to ensure you dont lose any business!This will end up in small claims because Im not paying the 3 months subscriptions they are chasing! Ive emailed them my account details on the last Trustpilot review, so they cant deny knowing i want to cancel!

I've been selling on Etsy for 7 years…

I've been selling on Etsy for 7 years now and I couldn't be more frustrated with their lack of support and respect for their sellers and the amount of fees they have pushed on us. I've been up in the air about leaving for a few years now ever since the market has become oversaturated with dropshippers and stuff sourced over seas claiming to be handmade. Recently the lack of support had become even more apparent when a customer left me a 1 star review claiming I never sent their item and called me rude and unprofessional and they wouldn't recommend shopping with me. Mind you this customers package was marked as delivered on January 29th through their Etsy tracking label and they waited until February 12th to message me demanding a refund and telling me I never sent the item and I'm a lair. I advised them to check with neighbors, call their local post office and submit a lost mail claim and to get back to me if they find anything out. Instead they attack me and my business practices and open a claim against my shop. Etsy of course said it didn't qualify for Etsy protection since the package was marked as delivered so instead of them protectioning my shop they take it upon themselves to refund the buyer using my personal finances, steal my money and refund the buyer. So not only did they reject my claim to take down the bad review that contained false information and slandering my character they also stole money from me since the buyers case didn't qualify for protection since I the seller did nothing wrong. This company has done nothing but gone down hill and I wouldn't recommend on them for support or stable income because they will punish you for not opting in to things they suggest you do such as free shipping for $35 and over. Look else where.

I’m going to stop purchasing from this…

I’m going to stop purchasing from this platform once my final issue is resolved. I’ve had to raise too many issues relating to purchases where sellers have simply not shipped items. I have then been refunded barring one last one where seller insisting item delivered but EVRI tracking clearly shows not yet delivered. Will stick to other platforms where sellers are more reliable and it’s easier to get resolution to issues.

free ship; not free ship? What's going on here?

I went to order an item and it said free shipping without prime membership. I changed addresses for ship to a PO Box I have very close by because things are often stolen here and it came up new with a extra shipping charge contradicting the original quote without shipping fee that was included apparently. Then I went to change the address back and it said free shipping. Is this confusing or what? Why can't it just be the same free shipping in different addresses? its not some kind of strange thing! I took screenshots of this and will be addressing it with Amazon. This is crazy! Who wants to order online anymore with this garbage from anywhere?

Terrible

Terrible. The worst customers service department I have ever experienced. My advert ran for a week, before there was an issue. After I called for help the agent I spoke to attempted to sell me upgrades for 30 minutes. Having given him access to my account (initially assuming he was going to help me) following the call, and my refusal to upgrade, he wrecked my existing advert and my account. I have a gold and jewellery buying business, the agent entered around 40 negative keywords into my account, including 'gold' and 'sell gold', he falsely reported that my advert breached Googles advertising policy, and messed up my automatic payments.Aside from this guy, I have been hung up on multiple times, and am still waiting for help sorting out the account, and the damage the agent did.The customer service department seems to be run on a shoe string budget, no call line except for sales calls, no live chat, and emails just go unanswered. It is really poor. And having experienced domestic abuse, the trashing of my account, and my advert, after I declined an upgrade felt like abuse. Be careful with Google ads atm, something is clearly very very wrong.

It’s atrocious

It’s atrocious! It lags constantly, there’s no support team that will respond to you, they never fix bugs/issues that have been apparent for years and to be honest it’s just a complete waste of your time trying to constantly re-record videos because it cuts off early or autocrops your video or you finally finish a recording bug free and then it doesn’t upload successfully. Worst application I’ve ever used.

Use ANYONE else

Any other delivery service that we have used will either leave the package in the letter box, by the door or an any number of nearby collection locations. UPS tried twice, and without further info now says returning to sender. Useless.

Retour Procedure not customer friendly

I'd like to give zero stars only. Very very poor customer service. First of all the VR bril came without any retour label. It took me a while to find out the right link to the FAQ's how to send back the product. I followed the steps answered several product questions in order to receive return labels. Then I got a full questionnaire by mail that I need to fill in before I receive return labels. They make it so complicated to return the product. Still I received no return labels - Never ever had such a terrible customer service. Poor! I expect return labels to be sent with the product and otherwise the invoice number should be enough info to provide them. It can't be that I need to fill in endless questionnaires to receive a simple return lable. Never ever again I will buy at this shop!EDIT: Forgot to update, finally finally I managed to send back the product with the right returnlabel that I received by mail from Oculus. Also the payment came back to my bank account after sending back the product. Still the procedure to send back the item was quite difficult and not customer friendly.. Therefor 3 stars...

Microsoft Cashback is not trustworthy.

I like their products but their Microsoft Cashback program is long on promises and short on delivery. I placed an order that entitled me to $10.67 but Microsoft refused to credit the reward, claiming that the order was "canceled or returned." It was not. I contacted Microsoft and informed them of the error and offered proof that the order was completed. No response. I contacted them again. No response. I now use a different, trustworthy rewards program when placing orders.I recently received an email from customer support and will update this review once the outcome has been decided. After replying to their message, I never heard from them again.

Bank elsewhere unless you want a headache. I have been with WF for over ten years and get treated as if I am meaningless. I have several accounts with them and am looking elsewhere.
