Review of coursera
Disheartening Experience with Coursera’s Financial Aid ProcessI applied for financial aid on Coursera, hoping to access a course that could help me build skills and eventually improve my financial situation. Coursera claims to be committed to expanding access to education for everyone, but my experience shows otherwise.Despite detailing my financial hardships and struggles with mental health, I was only offered a small discount on the course fee. Given my circumstances, there is no way I can afford this course, even with the discount provided. What I find particularly hypocritical is how Coursera presents itself as a platform committed to “expanding access to education” while simultaneously denying financial aid to those who clearly need it the most. It’s hard to understand how they expect someone in a difficult financial situation to afford even a reduced fee, especially when I’ve explained that I’m financially dependent on elderly parents and living in a country with no social security support. What makes this experience even more frustrating is the tone and structure of their response. They made it clear that their decision is final and that they will not review or reconsider it. The fact that they closed my case without even offering the chance for further discussion or response felt incredibly dismissive and cynical. To add insult to injury, they stated that any future similar requests may be closed without notice, which is an unprofessional and borderline rude way to handle a learner’s genuine request.Coursera’s financial aid process seems like a hollow promise rather than a genuine effort to make education accessible to those who need it. I would caution anyone with serious financial constraints from relying on Coursera’s claims of inclusivity, as their actions suggest otherwise.

The most appalling company to deal with, ever. Having ripped off the world and taken the information of billions of people free of charge , they then sell that information to very gullible advertisers. The advertising sales mantra is a con every time and for the vast majority over 80% is just a complete waste of money. DO NOT ADVERTISE ON FACEBOOK

Review of wayfair
Wayfair is cheating customers by selling this light fixture. Per my electrician, it is not UL listed, so it is not legal to sell in the US. It only has 2 wires and NO ground. There are no instructions, not even a Q code to scan to get help from the mfg. Not even a copy of my invoice as proof of purchase. Searching online for the company listed as the Mfg. I found it does not exist. There is no website or info at all. I want to return it for a FULL refund as it should never have been sold. It is defective and useless. I am 72, disabled and do not drive. I would need a paid pick up to return it and Joshua told me that it would be 18.99 to have that done, plus I would be charged for the original shipping to send this illegal item to me. I am sure the rep I spoke with was only doing what he was told to do, claiming he could not help, but I will be sharing my horrid experience with Wayfair on every social media site and review site I can find so no one else gets ripped off like this!! Also interesting is the 1 star review I wrote on the site WAS NOT POSTED! No surprise as it would warm other shoppers not to buy! This is what they post as their ethics and "Community Guidelines."Wayfair Community GuidelinesWayfair’s goal is to make shopping for your home easy and exciting. Review of paypal
I was a loyal customer for over a decade and my account was reviewed and "permanently limited" in just one day. Which basically means I was permanently deleted and cannot use any of my information to create an account again. Or review my case with someone as no one will talk to me or give me a single reason as to why this happened. I've never done anything suspicious or unreasonable, and probably had 30 different services linked to my paypal. I've never been treated this poorly by a company in my entire life. I will spend the rest of my life bad mouthing this company and I hope they go under in the meantime. Fyi, this is probably 1 of 3 bad reviews I've ever written in my life. Absolutely atrocious customer service.

After doing lots of research, first data was by far the most competitive both in price and service. I was guided through the whole process by Tania Goddard, our local rep in Devon, she is exceptional! I would and do highly recommend her to others. She has visited me since to ensure all is well, helped with the initial set up and came to help me update it so I could also register cash payments; saving me even more money!. The customer service team are also really helpful.

March 2024, I made a payment of $580 for a balance of $579.68 on my GM credit card. I was expecting a credit balance of -$.32. Instead, I received a bill for $5.86 so called interest. This was despite my check posting prior to the due date. I felt this was a chessey move on behalf of Sachs. However, I will pay this fee. In addition, my GM card won't be the card of choice in the immediate future.

Improper and false advertising. Applied for Apple Card and was instantly approved. After a few hours tried to make the first purchase. Card was locked with no notice or alerts. After 4 phone calls and multiple chat people the new card is “under review” and they don’t know how long it would take to resolve. Verified my identity and everything. Terrible bank and customer service!
Review of Zoom
The program itself is good and seems to work well. Customer support is totally non-existent. Have called, emailed, chatted for a MONTH. Still not fixed. They put 2 files on one day in the recordings. I can access the first, but not the second. Nothing in the "helpful" videos tell me about it. If they sell a product, they must support it.

Beth J is amazing. I had been working to create a 72-photo blanket, but by the time I clicked order, it looked like my order would now arrive the day AFTER my mom's birthday party. I chatted with Beth J, who worked with production to expedite my order. Some companies/representatives just say stuff like that, but she really did it and sent me several emails along the way to confirm her actions and let me know when the blanket had shipped. I just opened it and it's awesome (and on time!). Having direct email access to a real person is so nice. Really great customer service. I will be back!
