Beware of Fine Print

I purchased a single music score from this website for a reasonable price ($3 or so), and the company automatically charged me for a Premium Membership without my knowledge or consent. There was no warning that this would happen.From the response email from the company:'After carefully looking into your situation, I can see that your free trial of MuseScore Premium started on Feb 20, 2025, and was automatically changed to a paid 6-month subscription on Feb 20, 2025.'They acknowledge that they 'automatically changed' my account to a paid subscription on the same day that I purchased the sheet music.Update: MuseScore refunded me for the charge. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 star for the customer service. I will caution all users to read the fine print and be careful about making purchases with the company, and to be very sure of the terms because they are not clear at the time of purchasing sheet music.Do NOT accept their original offer of a reduced rate or extended subscription service if you get charged for an unwanted service and you request a refund. Keep pushing/emailing, and they will refund you.That being said, I am satisfied with the resolution provided by the company, and that is to their credit. Proceed with informed caution.

I've been using Dropbox for many years

I've been using Dropbox for many years, and would have gladly given them a four or more, up until last year. I pay for a premium service, but definitely didn't get it. Somehow I lost some crucial data, but wasn't worried as I knew Dropbox had a roll-back feature, which was part of my premium subscription. So I went in to use it and guess what - it didn't work. Argh!!!!!I got in touch with support and they tried to help, but couldn't. In the end, I managed to get something back, which wasn't as up-to-date as I wanted, but just had to make do.I spent the next few weeks arguing with Dropbox about having to pay for a feature that didn't work. I figured a bit of a credit on my account wouldn't go amiss, but they refused point blank. They REALLY didn't care.It became one of those points of principles where I just wanted them to concede that features that people are paying for should work. If they don't work temporarily then that be accepted, but I ended up being able to send them screen shots and videos clearly demonstrating that this premium feature didn't work. They really didn't care.Then, a few months later, I needed to restore another file. And guess what. It still didn't work as you'd expect, so all that time had gone by and they still haven't fixed it properly.So, alas, like many other people it seems, I am now looking to take my custom elsewhere, as I am worried that there may come another time when I need to rely on Dropbox to recover data (that's one of the main reasons for Dropbox, right?) and it will fail to deliver again.

No personal Facebook account no advertisement account, as simple as that. Well 3 years ago there were a waves of hacks. Never solved, Ad account gone, personal Facebook gone never recovered. Had over 20 ticket cases. The funniest thing, So after my personal account got permanently deleted because no one was able to assist to recover then I couldn't create tickets anymore. No Facebook no ticket, no add account. Worst company ever. Not mad on Facebook loss more about memories. And a lot of headaches. So I decided to create a new personal account and new ad account, got blocked many times for nothing probably because of hack my data somehow stored in the system like flagged. however after 4 attempts of creating a new ad account it worked somehow. However just use it what I need to. Wish there will be a competitor taking over Facebook and instagram, just absolutely a mess.

Avast has a product tailored to every need. I recommend their security products; I loved them.

It was great to test and experience Avast's excellent antivirus product. The firewall was brilliant. I liked everything I tried while I had the solution installed on my system.

WINDOW SHOP, OK, DO NOT BUY ASUS Electronics

Well, I guess its not to question ASUS overall integrity when the "Review section" pre-text message reassures that you are GOING TO HAVE MAJOR PROBLEM WITH YOUR LAPTOP!ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 UX482 14" FHD NanoEdge Touch Display, Core i7-1195G7, GeForce MX450, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Innovative ScreenPad Plus, Windows 11 Pro, Celestial Blue, UX482EGR-XB74T,Is what I bought from Newegg in mid July. Had it less than 2 1/2 months, motherboard failure. Took over a month to have it "repaired and QUALITY INSPECTION", which I was assuredly done by a tech from the ACI-CEO office team. Well, inspection of the full laptop is or should be a must when replacing the motherboard, shouldnt it. Was sent in for 1 major repair, and came back with 2 more problems.NOT ACTIVATING WINDOWS 11 prior to releasing any laptop and repairs, is left up to the customer? And then being given keycodes for Windows 8 from "tech support". Most offshore call centers are horrible, as they do not understand the nuainces of UD English words, and do not understand that WINDOWS 11 does not use a code and no way to inupt one.🤦🏻‍♂️ And how do you not see that the keyboard backlight doesnt illuninate when starting it up or thru the start up process.And on top of that, it was shipped back with some type of liquid on the motherboard. Not water, but an oily/lubricant substance, that ASUS may be trying to say was done by our doing.Why would somebody want to ship a product back to have it shoddily "repaired" to have more problems. And if the motherboard keeps going out on the DUOs, then class action? I did not spend $1800+ on it, just to have a "refurbished" replacement after 2 1/2 months of use. If you need the ACI-CEO email addresses I have, greenskooter74@gmaildotcom, is where you can send a message to.I took the laptop to a nationwide computer repair center, hence the oily substance on the motherboard was found.ASUS has worked with this repair center a few times before according to their associates. It would have been easy for ASUS ACI-CEO team to talk with the repair center I took the "repaired" latop to have the backlight keyboard issue to be checked out without avoiding the warranty. Whats even worse are emails "suggesting" it wasnt their fault, and they inspect every repair.I would highly reccomend you stay away from ASUS expensive and faulty motherboard laptops and seek a better prospect elsewhere.Their repair, tech support and ACI department is a joke. At least Sprint in the past and ATT took care of the problems they created. May heve been a process like pulling teeth, but much easier than dealing with ASUS' incompetence.I will leave as many reviews as I can to either HELP ASUS CHANGE, or in time, watch them go under like many other companies that have problems lile this. Its sad, once incompetence and the lack of product quality hits, and it becomes well known, most companies cease to exist. As will ASUS if they keep up selling cheaply made, but expensive electronics.So, laptop, looked great. Quality 0. Running performance 0. Tech support 0, other departments 0.Please, do not spend your hard earned money just to have it "replaced" within a few months with a refurbished replacement. Even buying ASUS "recertified" I wouldnt buy it. You will have the same motherboard problems, plus what ever damage their repair cente send out with their "fixed" laptop.If this was an older and used more than 6 months, I may be open to a refurbished one. But 2 1/2 months in and a motherboard fried. Replacement already has problems, with at least another month down time.Just a huge comaprison. Lenovo, is sending a repair tech out to the house to fix the broken screen hinge, and guess what? That laptop is over 2 1/2 years old. Added this at the last minute. Was texted this info while writing the review for ASUS.Unless ASUS does the right thing and send a NEW replacement, then no need to talk with anyone from ASUS. Think many times over before buying an ASUS product. I rarely leave reviews unless warranted, and this is one that people need to heed, or else you get what you bought. If your using it for school or work, think how much you value your grades and job. If your using it for gaming and screen goes black due to motherboard issues a few times, how aggrivafed will you be. Each time the laptop is sent for "repairs" its at least a month of waiting. Dealing with an issue for over a month, and ASUS knows where I stand. Instead, they want scathing, and negative reviews. So thats where I stand ASUS. Thanks for the aggrivation and broken laptop.
