I purchased a single music score from this website for a reasonable price ($3 or so), and the company automatically charged me for a Premium Membership without my knowledge or consent. There was no warning that this would happen.From the response email from the company:'After carefully looking into your situation, I can see that your free trial of MuseScore Premium started on Feb 20, 2025, and was automatically changed to a paid 6-month subscription on Feb 20, 2025.'They acknowledge that they 'automatically changed' my account to a paid subscription on the same day that I purchased the sheet music.Update: MuseScore refunded me for the charge. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 star for the customer service. I will caution all users to read the fine print and be careful about making purchases with the company, and to be very sure of the terms because they are not clear at the time of purchasing sheet music.Do NOT accept their original offer of a reduced rate or extended subscription service if you get charged for an unwanted service and you request a refund. Keep pushing/emailing, and they will refund you.That being said, I am satisfied with the resolution provided by the company, and that is to their credit. Proceed with informed caution.
