Thieves.Kayak is a part of BKNG Holding.CEO Glenn Fogel, Booking.con and Kayak steal from their “partner properties”. They steal from their customers. Over the course of the last two years they have fired 1/2 their staff and outsourced their jobs to other counties. These companies are a cancer on society. Always book direct with properties so that these thieves do not take 15-20% of the money which should go to the partner properties, their maintenance and the pho for their staff and taxes. Here’s the most recent round of layoffs from booking holding :
Review of discogs
I use discogs for acurate information on music releases. It is the most in depth of all release websites on music releases you get the oportunity to amend and add information on editions if yo are a member. It's run on trust so just be careful buying on the site check your seller has long and established feedbak vefore buying and read the postage costs before commiting to buy.It a great site
Review of barnesandnoble
I find staff in the stores helpful and as knowledgeable as possible given the breadth and depth of titles offered. However, I appreciate the website more than in-house staff. I use it far more. I especially appreciate the wide number of pre-publication titles and dates of publication. Those allow me to plan my purchases. Those plans can be incredibly useful when coupons and sales happen. I also really appreciate information is available for both printed books and videos. (I still prefer print for recreational reading.)
Review of temu
I've spent thousands buying from Temu Canada. I've never had a problem until now. They partially refunded 2 tops I sent back, one for refund to my card and one credit. I don't want a credit, I want my money back. They refused.I will not order anything else from them.Temu replied they would help me, they did nothing. They still refuse to give my money back. I spent the credit now, but that will be my last order. I paid for the order and should have been given a proper refund.
Review of fandango
I give 2 stars because I have otherwise always had a good experience with Fandango, but this is making me reconsider if I want to remain a customer. I saw an awesome advertisement to see The Photograph that was buy one, get one free. I read the ad and I proceed to Fandango's website to get all of the terms. The expiration date was 2/14/2020 at 11:59pm. I purchased my tickets on 2/12 around 1pm and the promo did not work. I still ordered my tickets so I didn't end up sitting in front of the screen. I contacted Fandango customer service because I felt they should honor the coupon by refunding the difference. They said it was only open to 500 customers. NOWHERE was that mentioned. Not the Facebook ad, and not the promo terms. Poor customer service. Its also worth mentioning that the customer service rep had no understanding at all. She was very robotic. She also was not attentive as she was ready to cancel my tickets! Please work on that. I have the terms saved as well as the conversation with the rep. Very disappointed.
Review of duolingo
I'm another long-time user of Duolingo - six years. I would only recommend it for first-year students. Duo teaches basic reading and listening, not writing or listening. Even basic skills are lacking adequate explanation. There is no way to ask questions. Some of the problems:1) Duo does not explain why an answer is wrong. The answer could be wrong because of spelling, wrong conjugation, wrong case, whatever. New students need guidance which is not provided. 2) Duo removed discussions. Earlier, discussions about exercises were alllowed. Native speakers would explain errors, sentence construction, idioms, and confirm mistakes made by Duo. 3) Lessons are not maintained. Many error have crept into Duo's lessons. Biggest errors in German are not recognizing synonyms or placement of adverbs. There is a pop-up method to report errors, but apparently nobody is reading the reports. Some of the problems have persisted for years.4) Lacks obvious necessities. Noun gender and verb conjugation are all important in German. Duo should allow the student to collect on a noun to see the gender and plural form. Clicking on a verb should show the usual infinitive, past and past perfect forms. Clicking on a prepostion should show case(s). (I keep 3 additional windows open to other sites to get definitions, conjugations, and cases.)4) Rigid progression of lessons. Unlike Duo's first years, students must follow a rigid path. The path includes many useless repetitions that are totally at odd with a student's level. After years, Duo still asks if I know the German word for dog or cat, etc. 5) Very annoying characters. Most suitable for 8-12 year olds. Includes a whiny boy and a cynical teen-age girl.Petersen's Publishing took over Duo a few years ago, and changed emphasis from teaching solo learners to supplementing language lessons for children.
Review of doordash
If I could give it no stars I would. Ordered twice this week from Bob Evans, who uses Doordash. First time the driver couldn't find my building and when I tried to call and help him, he didn't speak a word of English. Then today placed another order and the order never arrived though marked delivered. DD refunded for both orders (I think) but from now on I'll bring food from home.

Review of thriftbooks
Such a great shopping experience. I was able to find several books (some old, some new, and one that I had been searching for a couple years!). They shipped quickly and were in great shape. The prices can't be beat. I will definitely be shopping at ThriftBooks again.
Review of myanimelist
Ran by lunatics obsessed with reviews that let anything else slide with an interface from 2005. I have no idea how much they are paying google to be the number 1 search for anything anime but holy hell stay away from making an account there. Shounen obsessed mod is the pettiest moderator I've had the displeasure of interacting with. A literal manchild that will throw a tantrum when others don't like his precious cartoon. Their support team looks the other way and would rather IP block you than see what their mods are doing. Website based around chinese cartoons so I expected nothing and was still disappointed. Bravo!
Review of lastpass
It almost feels unfair to leave a bad review when for a decade I've loved this service, and I was a paying customer, but also had a free account. Logmein as a company have done this practice before (remote desktop software was once free), so they're sneaky blighters for this.So on this basis alone, and the 1 month notice it's a 1-star rating to warn others of how this company treats it's customers, despite having a good product. That said, like many others I've discovered bitwarden, oh wow - so much better, so thanks again LastPass for forcing me to leave, you've done me a favour and I found a better service (only $10 a year too!).
Review of itv
Easily the worst channel in the UK, more adverts than C4 or C5 combined. A total embarrassment to broadcasting, the sooner people have the option to delete crap like ITV from their TV channels the better. Who in their right mind would subscribe for this dross? Not one single decent programme across the entire week which is then repeated across the weekend. Embarrassing, frustrating and angering.

Review of eBay
Absolutely horrible. My account suddenly got banned, right after creating it, while i was still setting it up.I contacted them, the replies i got were copied-pasted texts that they sent over and over, with no explanation why i got banned at any point. They are bots that do no care about your problems at all. This service is nearly unusable, as i'm not the only one who got banned like that, lots of people had this problem, and there is no warning. They just ban you in the blink of an eye.
Review of abebooks
Do not do business with Abe Books. If you order a book, they will send you a random 99c book from some cut-out bin, but charge you for the book you ordered. (In my case, $25 plus shipping). Their system is an endless cycle of web-based HTML forms (no actual address or phone number), and they respond to any communication with random, prewritten form Emails which in no way address anything. Then you have to pay to send the random 99c book back ($13.00 postage, in my case) and prove they got their own book back, by Emailing them the Proof of Delivery, Signature, and Tracking Number. If you make it that far (takes about 10-12 Emails), they simply ignore you after that. They basically do whatever they want, and hide behind the internet when it's time to take responsibility for their own fraud.UPDATE: Now they're pretending they never got the Proof of Delivery & Signature Confirmation that I sent them twice. A week ago.10/5/21 Still pretending they never got Proof of Delivery, no matter how many times I Email it. It's gotten to the point where this is a blatant and obvious avoidance technique which is a deliberate attempt to avoid resolving this, by any means possible.
Review of dashlane
I had a problem using Dashlane and Google Chrome after using them both together for many years. The latest update for Chrome did not agree with my Dashlane settings. I turned to live chat for help and the agent Rita could not have helped more. She told me to try a couple of things at first and then sent an update for the new Chrome/Dashlane extension with full details of how to carry out the work. I should say that I am 80 years of age and spent most of my life without these things called computers, so I am not the brightest shilling in the purse. Made no difference to Rita, as I say, she could not have helped more. Through the instructions she sent to me, I am onboard Dashlane again, all my passwords intact and working smoothly. Unfortunately, I can only award 5 stars, this was one of those rare occasions when 6 or 7 would have been better. All I can add is a big thank you and give 5 stars.
