I booked an apartment in Malaga, then cancelled it

I booked an apartment in Malaga, which had a 100% refund policy if cancelled before Oct 9th 2024.I realised the apartment wasn't suitable a day after booking so cancelled it, 5tth Sep 2023. Only response was a message from host in Spanish, no translate facility on Vrbo site!I contacted Vrbo on 10th Sep as had heard absolutely nothing re cancellation. Was told I would be contacted by specialities team. 11th Sep, not even an email!!Rang Vrbo, spoke to a man with very strong accent, struggled to understand him, but she assured me I would be refunded. STILL NOTHING IN WRITING FROM VRBO. Please avoid this company, who's gaining interest from my money whilst I'm waiting for the refund?

Review of hulu

DONT USE HULU

DONT USE HULU Hulu, literally such a terrible streaming service. It’s like you guys decided to make the literal blueprints of a streaming platform and decided it was perfect lol. So slow, freezes, bad platform. Just put ur money into something better

Ad free Hulu has gone too far

Ad free Hulu has gone too far. I can't enjoy a simple episode or movie without being bombarded by ads every 5 to 10 minutes they are now up to one and a half minutes each sometimes more. Of course you can pay for removing the ads but there will still be ads and it's stupidly expensive. Netflix has half the ads and not as long and not as expensive. There should be a Hulu boycott to encourage people to use their competitors. It doesn't matter what content a streaming site has if you can't enjoy watching it because of the ridiculous amount of commercials.

Review of backblaze

Great to upload, impossible to restore

Awful, the download speeds (and reliability) mean I haven't been able to successfully download a file for a year and have now just deleted and given up. So poor, go to iDrive, bigger limits and faster restores that work.

Review of wayfair

Excellent purchase and customer service experiences

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Wayfair purchases and, more recently, with a concern regarding stolen Wayfair gift cards. Of the 4 companies I contacted following the theft of gift cards I purchased for their stores, Wayfair's CS was the only one who didn't immediately try to direct me elsewhere. Instead, they took time to investigate what happened and provided me with actionable information about what had happened. While they didn't refund me the gift card balances (hence, the 4 starts), they at least took the issue seriously and did their best to prevent any future thefts.

Review of teamviewer

TeamViewer from the start.

I have been using it since TeamViewer came to the market. In general it works fine with any difficulties being caused by falsely identifying a private user as a commercial user. I guess that is acceptable considering the ability to use this software and all its features freely. There is a process in place to get this reversed pretty quickly.

Royalties

I too think this company is a scam. I and my brother inherited royalties but in order to get paid the company has demanded more paper. work and documentary evidence than any of our father's other publishers, including Rutledge and Oxford. It was easier to transfer a house, bank accounts and a car. They were additionally demanding notarized signatures even though we are in England, where notaries can only be licensed by the Archbishop of Canterbury. It would cost more than the value of the notaries. The company should know because they began in England. We have been dealing with a particularly obnoxious staff member who heaps on more and more demands that are simply redundant given how much we have provided so far. It is all about their vanity and our questioning their dictatorial authority.

Review of kobo

Received my e-reader very quickly

Received my e-reader very quickly, love the colour home page makes it much easier to identify the book I want to read, the only downside is it’s smaller than the last kobo e-reader I had, this one is 6 inches the other was 7inches, it does make quite a difference, but on the whole I’m happy with it, only reason for changing it was I had dropped it and smashed the casing.

Love it! And connects with Libby

Really great light weight e-reader! It’s the first one I’ve used and I love it. You can change the background brightness so it’s great for reading before bed, and you can change the font size among a lot of other neat features. I purchased this one In particular because it pretty easily synchs with the Libby (library) app so I can access the thousands of free books they have.

I really like the news but your…

I really like the news but your commercials are horrible. Too many. Longer commercial break than news segment. Most just tick me off. Try to guilt you over Jews, dogs and kids with cancer. The fragrance commercials would be better if it was a fat slob dressed homeless.

I just signed up today December 29th

I just signed up today December 29th, 2024. Looking at their recommended stock picks from 2018 thru now I see 110 winners and 58 losers. That equals out to about being right about 65% of the time. Most stock pickers are right about 50% of the time. Going back further from 2002 thru 2017 they had 127 winners and only 9 losers. That is being right 93% of the time. Wonder what happen to those guys picking the stocks? Time to bring those guys back.

Not working half of the time

Half of the time, the page redirects to some error page, and support not helpful. The price is too high for the service, when these annoying glitches is not being fixed asap. And I know this issue is not only occurring to me, so stop pretending.
