Review of aliexpress
Update: The promised reply from Aliexpress below is a joke. They simply sent an automated email to say 'NO REFUND'. Why do I bother?! You can't trust them to follow their own rules. If I could give zero stars I would. My experience of late has been a nightmare. I am beginning to think they are now using a very poor AI system scanning refund requests. I ordered a shirt, but received a completely different shirt. When I raised a request to get a shipping label to return it, it was declined even though I provided very clear evidence. Meanwhile, while waiting for the shirt to be refunded, I reordered it with the same seller. And guess what? Yes, the wrong shirt arrived again! Both times, despite clear and thorough evidence to show that I had received the wrong shirt (photos of the shirt I received, its packaging label, screenshots of the shirt I had ordered and my actual order details), my return request was rejected due to 'insufficient evidence'! What more evidence could I have supplied? I provided photos and videos. Aliexpress provided no guidance on what other evidence they required. When I go on the live chat, the customer service representative acknowledges and apologises for the inconvenience, conceding that it's clearly a seller error. As a result, they raised a complaint with the 'higher department', who emailed me to apologise and asked me to resubmit my return request. So, I take the time to go through the whole frustrating process again. And what do you think happened? They rejected it again! What a complete waste of my time - it's so disrespectful of their customers. I buy a lot of things from Aliexpress but this type of issue is happening more and more, at an alarming rate. The major issues are the rejection of refunds for poor quality versions of the advertised products are: - misbranded items;- damaged; and,- incorrect items.I would love an actual human being from their 'higher department' to get in touch with me to discuss the serious issues I have been having. But all I seem to get is autoreplies.
Review of agoda
Agoda massively failed to effectively represent and back me up with the hotel following a highly unsatisfactory two-night stay where both nights were negatively impacted. My issue was also dealt with by 3 separate agents (Ellysha, Ashley, Asif) which led to a lack of continuity and care, and to be honest, interest in helping me.Would not use again.

Review of facebook
You are very scummy because you made the friends counter on every profile public and you have no respect for privacy at all! No warnings in advance, that's the bare minimum you could do! I wish you all the worst luck in the world and hope karma gets each and everyone of you corpopigs!
Review of coursera
Really frustrated by my experience with this company: I signed up for a course and to be honest I was too busy to use it (not their fault). But it wasn't clear upon signing up that this would be auto-renewing, and even that the price paid was monthly! (it was quite a lot so I foolishly assumed the amount was for the duration of the course). There was also intermittent communication about the auto-renewal from Coursera (they didn't send a message on 2 out of 3 renewals, and the one they did ended up in spam (not their fault)). Not everything here is Coursera's fault, but am frustrated by the communication and feel it's designed to take advantage of people in this way, so I would avoid this company!

Review of abebooks
My experience is likely unique. Aside from the slow delivery, the book arrived jammed into a bag that was too small for the book. When I attempted to remove the book, the dust cover was torn because the bag was as tight as a second skin around the book. Nothing can be done because the damage is my doing, however, it's also not OK the way the book was packaged for shipment.
