Chess.com is sadly full of cheats and mouthy brats. It requires monthly spending to unlock the full app which is in dire need of an overhaul and oversight ! I would advise you don’t waste your valuable time as it’s just not a fair playing field any longer ! It’s just terrible.

Like many in the comments, I too have had a experienced a nightmare with Adidas. Store policy varies from store-to-store. Some stores take returns into inventory immediately while others do not (this is poor governance). Issues was, I wasn't aware of this and the store I returned to essentially didn't process returns into their system. They simply would do I would do if I wanted to mail a return myself (slap a label on the item and wait for FedEx to pick it up). There's no transaction receipt because technically there's no return (you can see where issues might occur w/ liability & horrible inventory management on Adidas corporate' end). There isn't another big box retailer that handles returns/refunds in this fashion. In my case, they accidentally returned two items under the same return label. Had to go through the run-around w/ online chat (which said they'd call the store). They did, but thankfully I checked-up on them and they didn't resolve the issue.After calling the store myself, we came to the conclusion that they may have returned both items under the same return label (versus two separate labels). The confusion being that it's the same order #.They then said to call customer service to help locate the return to see where the second item is. Customer service then asked me to provide proof of the return. But again, there is no proof because there technically no transaction that occurs (they're just couriers for the couriers/FedEx that come and pick-up the item). I asked the customer service kept reciting the same scripted line "we need proof". I said there is no proof given how this retail store processes returns. I said that given the situation that they need to help bridge the gap (again, basic customer service 101). With their monotone, indifferent attitude, I was kindly explaining my situation as a whole. Then told them, this isn't working, so let's get a supervisor involved to provide some actual solution options.Finally after them not being able to find a supervisor to escalate the issue to, they did some 'work' (that they should've to begin with) and said "given that the first item was received, we can use that tracking # as proof). All that wasted time, energy, and frustration on my end as a customer for them to put in the minimum amount of semi-critical thinking skills.And now...I as a customer have to wait........again for 7-14 business days for them to conduct an investigation to ascertain the whereabouts of the 2nd items that should've arrived with the first pair (wrong return label).How this is considered customer centric service is beyond me in 2023. Completely indifferent & careless customer service reps that read a script and stick to it without understanding context of a situation and empathizing.Case #: 63014070 (Chantel)

I've WAS an Aweber customer for about a decade and now am NOT.I decided to close my account and switch because Aweber's monthly fees get pretty steep as your list grows. But what gets them a mere two stars from me is what happened after I told two customer service reps (Amanda and Chris) to close the account and clicked "cancel plan" in the dashboard...THEY KEPT TAKING MY MONEY. I confirmed on July 7th that I didn't want the account anymore and they took FOUR MORE payments out of my Paypal account over the next two months. I emailed them repeatedly telling them I didn't want the service anymore until I had Paypal block their autopayments. They ignored me for a while but finally responded, eventually Jo there offered me an apology and confirmed that they had made a mistake not canceling my account. But they refused to fully refund me the payments they took without my permission for a service I didn't want and hadn't used in months.Fortunately, Paypal's dispute department (which can be hard to please) got me the money back as I provided them with all email threads confirming my side of the story.It's wild to me that a company, because of greed and incompetence, would insist on screwing a +10-year customer when doing the right thing would have been so easy.They get two stars because...It's a very robust email platform with a ton of features for managing email optins and sending a newsletter to subscribers.A few times I've had to contact customer service and they were very professional.But...I DO NOT recommend signing up for autopayments, as they may just keep trying to take your money. Also, if you don't pay your AWeber bill for a month they hold your list hostage until you pay. So just export and backup your list with some regularity.

Awful coverage of the US Election. You can clearly see they are pretty much towing the line with the US media and social media in not reporting when it doesn't fit the narrative or just reporting fake news. Appalling journalism or lack thereof. It is a shame as some of the writers are top notch. The country needs a truly conservative news outlet.

Appalling customer service.The difficulties I have had in cancelling my online subscription are in line with other reviewers. It is insanely difficult, time consuming and insulting. My eventual cancellation on live chat was on the day of renewal for 12 months. I was refused a refund of the whole amount, only a discount. I declined and was given no option for any refund. I have had to go through my bank. What a waste of time.

I have very bad experience with amazon.it. I spent many hours in last five days. I ordered a product on 7th June. It shows 13th for delivery day. After some time of ordered amazon.it changed the delivery day to 16th june. In five days they didn't dispatch yet. When I contacted customer service. They always lied. Then I complained by email and requested to forward this complaint to upper management, but unfortunately not one help. The problem at very beginning was the price. The product price was 399 euros, but amazon deducted 410 euros. After some time Amazon deducted extra 25 euros. I chatted several hours to get that 35 euros. First they made a lot of excuses but I didn't left them. But amazon also tricked that time in sent me 17 euros in amazon balance instead of original payment. I again contacted the to recover my money at the send the also sent as Amazon balance.After that I requested them to please dispatch my order but they were lying and after two days they said that we don't have that product in our warehouse. And said you should wait until we have it in stock. They also told me that you can cancel your order if you don't like. I requested for alternative product but they didn't arrange it at the end they recommend one product worse than this product and was 20 euros expensive. I wasn't agree and they said tomorrow cancel the order. I didn't want to cancel it because I paid from other currency so it had exchange fee and their refund take around one week.Last five days im in contact with them and no satisfactory response.Please help me if some one has good suggestions.Thanks
