BEWARE OF FREE TRIAL OFFER

I signed up to Deezers offer of a free month trial as I wanted to experience the app before committing to a regular payment. About an hour after signing up £12.99 was taken out of my bank account! I contacted Deezer twice regarding this, the first reply was a generic message that didn’t address the issue and I’m yet to hear from the second email. Awful customer service. Also the music selection is poor compared to Apple and Spotify. Awful service all round.

Dispute resolved by Amex

Dispute resolved with Amex.Booked a New Orleans Hotel through booking.com at a fully cancellable rateHotel takes a random amount from my Amex shortly afterwards which is never truly explained, justified, invoiced or issued with a receipt.Hotel cancelled through booking.com due to bad reviews. Alternative hotel booked direct. Cancellation refund 7-12 days.Two weeks later no refund and no communication back from either booking.com or the hotel.Dispute started with American Express due to nobody else helping or taking responsibility.Dispute resolved by Amex 4 days later and full amount taken by hotel credited back to my account.Thank goodness for paying by credit card and having all the proof in writing.Please be careful. NEVER using booking.com again…..putting a merchant block on them with Amex…and my advice is to book direct with any NOLA hotel.

Use Lockers or Pickup points to avoid disappointment with delivery

Overall my experience with Amazon.co.uk has been great. In my experience 98% of next day delivery are delivered as expected. I have had a few delivery's fail the next day delivery and received an apology from amazon the very day they failed to deliver and it was delivered the next day (this happen with my recent purchase which was a dp cable for pc) I have had a delivery where i have been working from home and they haven't knocked and they have placed the items in the garden and haven't knocked. This and the couple of failed next day deliveries is why i gave them 4 stars. Usually i like to make sure someone is home otherwise i would use pickup points or lockers to pick up my items if they are being delivered whilst at work. Amazon have a lot of delivery staff all over the country and all over the world. I take some responsibility over HOW i get my items delivered Use Lockers or Pickup points to avoid disappointment with delivery!! returns process is fantastic too. If you dont like an item, dont need it anymore or whatever reason you have as long as you are in with the return time, the returns process is very good However one time they accused me of replacing a headset with a faulty one of my own accusing me of serial numbers not matching. However I raised a complaint and stated that im not happy that they sent me a used item... They apologized and refund me promptly with the complaint.

Unreliable and of questionable legitimacy

Out of the blue Academia changed subscription fee from 79 to 246 euros without prior notice and now they refuse refund. This is not only extremely furstrating but of questionable legitimacy and of course I will take legal actions. Be aware and avoid any subscription.Update after Academia's response: Academia has never sent an e-mail. I have of course repeatedly contacted Academia team. They keep repeating that it is "out of their policy" to refund what has been a unilateral, not agreed change of subscription fee and consequently an anauthorised charge of my card.

The questions for your most part are answered throughly. One of the reasons this is not an excellent score is because sometimes the writers answer questions with information that they pull from the internet (the answer is not authentic). Another reason this score of not a five is because there is no longer a comment section if you would want to communicate with the writer. They sometimes put “ leave a comment if you have any questions “, but there is no longer a way to leave a comment. As a whole, I rate Chegg higher than other websites because you get more bang for your Bucks. You guys offer the most questions for the price than most.

New Version is a Downgrade

Chegg is much worse with the AI implemented. Before the new version was released, which primarily uses AI, I could easily find what I needed help with, it never crossed my mind to consider cancelling my subscription. Now Chegg is essentially another form of ChatGPT and it much slower and difficult to navigate. The old version should have been left alone and you could have added another search option for AI instead of forcing the change on us. In my opinion this version is not worth the money.

I have begged Amnesty International and IHREC for help to clear my name to no avail. Trapped in this subscription

I’m in a very unfortunate position. I have tried to cancel the telegraph subscription and found it impossible to do online, I filled out there form to try and cancel that way and received a reply this morning stating I have to phone them to cancel, unfortunately I can’t speak because of a health condition in my neck, I’m tube fed for the same reason. I can’t believe in this day and age they don’t allow you to cancel online as easily as they allow you to sign up and had I known this would have been the case prior to signing up, I would never have signed up.That is incredibly poor and feel trapped in this subscription.

Fake refund policy

Mine will be quick, I purchased a game by accident and didn’t download any content. I was told by PSN via email that I would receive a full refund within 7-10 days. That never happened, they lied to me and I never got my money back or received a follow up email. I tried to return the game the next day and never downloaded any content. Their return policy is phony and I’m so disappointed in them. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Purchased a £4500 laptop. Stopped working after 2 Months I understand that can happen however the Customer Service to collect is very very poor. Third week and still waiting for collection despite failed collection promises. Josie in Customer Services useless and the online customer Bots a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, next time I will purchase from another manufacturer.

I will never ever ever ever purchase another HP printer. I have owned them most of my life. I now have the HP DeskJet 3700 all in one. I live in a small apartment so I wanted a small printer. There have been issues with it since day, one. Trying to connect trying to keep a connection, etc. etc. now it refuses to connect it all I’ve been having to I would literally wasted all of my ink, which is very expensive as you know and a whole lot of paper just trying to print out to get this thing set up. I had to move it from where I’ve had it for years now and my bedroom to the living room today to try to set it up here it still doesn’t work. I went on forums for five hours. They have HP Supposedly tech-support chat rooms and they turn out to be scams then I actually get through to HP after like two hours and then after I tell him everything going on because I’m not a subscriber with the ridiculous ink program, he wants me to pay $20 for him to help me. I told him I will never buy another HP product again , since this is almost already gone anyway although I do have one more in there I don’t care anymore. It’s not worth my time. It’s not worth my patience. It’s not worth my health to deal with these people. They care nothing about their customers as I said to him I own a MacBook Pro, which has been out of warranty for six years, that doesn’t stop them from having tech-support help me anytime I need it. They’re the worst company ever. They are worse with technology. Their ink is cheap. They don’t know anything and they don’t care to know anything all they want to do is take your money charge you more for ink then you pay for the printer, and then try to make you purchase new apps , pay them to tech-support, etc., etc. to use a printer that you already own and that is ridiculous and that you already have printer ink for. As I stated to him before I hung up on him, I would rather buy a different brand. I’ll go buy a canon or another brand brand people need to stop supporting this ridiculousness. Of course that’s going to work when you first get it and if you pay for the ridiculous in Program, which is a rip off but even with that look at the reviews above here or below… They’re even ripping them off and even people who have brand new printers. I’ve never had an easy set up with an HP and now this. I’m done with it. I was suggest everyone to stop purchasing from this company maybe then they might put some money into their products and maybe then they might care more about their customers because without their customers they are nothing , but a name
