UBISOFT - Dissgusting Treatmeant of Consumers

Words, dialog, and diplomacy, for thousands years.....have served us well as a means of communicating, facing each other, and to actually discuss issues that genuinely affect us wheter they be critical, or quality of life, whatever that means to each of us. UBISOFT you have FAILED on ALL the above. The fact that though thousands of threads of feedback to your company, you neglect to answer legitimate and genuine questions from a "So Called" Fan Base, is appualling, and frankly disgusting. My dialog here will attract the same inaction, as did my plea for help through my email, , , , , , , nothing.A smaller company would address the issues that fed such distain back into thier existance.... not so UBISOFT.... woe betie your corporate flippant carelessness for your ever dwindling ever reluctant consumers...there actually IS a time you will cease to exists due to the treatment of said toilers!

Thieves.

Just here to reiterate the previous reviews that point out what a nightmare it is to cancel a subscription service. I feel like a snared rabbit. That's not a nice feeling. I would have rated them a lot higher based purely on their journalism, but in light of the aforementioned unpleasant feeling I have chosen to be spiteful.

I don't know how this company is allowed to exist. I just found out they have been charging me every month since November of 2020. I can't seem to cancel and I never even subscribed cos I auto auto pay (I like to control my own payments). I even changed my card only to realize it's an apple wallet deduction so that didn't matter as long as my new card was registered, they'd find it. I have sent out emails and not response. I just need my money refunded ASAP as you are crooks.

Google Censorship and Dishonesty

Google asks you to review places you’ve been to etc. then says that your review has been posted only to find out when you search the business from someone else’s page that your review hasn’t been posted at all. People want honest feedback for when they’re looking into things and google is always trying to get people to use their services when google isn’t even honest with the people using their service and are choosing what others can/cant see depending on what they see fit. That’s a classic example of dishonesty and censorship. Don’t waste your time with them.

DO NOT trust any ‘home shopping’…

DO NOT trust any ‘home shopping’ catalogues that come with the Mail on Sunday. My father ordered items from a catalogue called home shopping selections, which has a website called hssuk.co.uk. They have had his money for over a month and still nothing has arrived not heard a thing from them and can’t get through to customer services. When calling, the line costs 13p per minute, and you are kept on the phone for over an hour! Surely The Mail should check these companies out before letting them loose on their readers!! It’s terrible to think that they are taking money from these people and don’t care that they are ripping off their readers!! Absolutely disgusting.

Beware of the Auto-Renewal Grift

I don't have an issue with the product itself, I have a problem with the autorenewal process. I got burnt last year by not cancelling auto-renew straight after a purchase the previous year. But not this time! Since I turned AR off the usual 50% discount appears in your account, this is how the grift works. It's a shame because loyalty should matter... So I'll be moving on when the subscription comes up next month

Experience of Amazon Prime in France...

I have been an Amazon Prime member in two countries for over five years. I recently moved to France and opened a Prime account. The service has been very disappointing. Four items have been misplaced in delivery. Amazon leaves the items at unauthorized places or hands them over to unauthorized persons. Despite repeated emails and phone calls with customer support, they fail to consider my request of keeping the items at my doorstep on the right floor. The company is so much more customer-friendly and professional in the US.

vodafone callya sim card scam

Bought a Call ya sim from the supermarket. Tried to register according the instructions, unable to get through password registration. Then i find out from forums that this is a recurrent problem with their website. Cost of getting it registered in a shop was 40 euros. Tried contacting their customer service - all chatbots in german and asked to call them instead (if i had a number i would not have bought the sim in the first place)Went to a physical store at Schillergalerie Dresden, salesperson took one look at me with my prepaid card in hand and said that I brought it onto myself for buying the card from the supermarket so I will have to sort it myself (this was ad verbatim) I had not even had a chance to ask my question, perhaps not worthy of his time to serve customers who were there for a contract.wow vodafone, customer service at its best.Anyway. its a scam - pay 40 euros and get it registered, or try doing it yourself but the website has a glitch so you cant anyway.not one friendly for non german speaking or visitors.

BAIT AND SWITCH - ILLEGAL PRACTICES - Order Cancelation after confirmation

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the recent cancellation of my order for the Alienware Aurora R15. I firmly believe that your cancellation of my order constitutes a violation of Canadian consumer protection laws, specifically the Consumer Protection Act, regarding bait and switch tactics and scanner accuracy.I would like to remind you that upon placing my order, I received a confirmation of the order, payment was successfully processed, and I was provided with a quote for the product. These actions established a legally binding contract between Dell and myself. According to the Consumer Protection Act, once an order confirmation has been issued and payment has been accepted, a contract is formed, and Dell is legally obligated to fulfill the order at the agreed-upon price. The bait and switch tactic, as defined by Canadian law, involves advertising a product at a certain price and then substituting it with a different product or canceling the order altogether, often citing a pricing error. This is a deceptive practice explicitly prohibited by the Consumer Protection Act. I have clear evidence that Dell advertised the Alienware Aurora R15 at a specific price, accepted my payment, and confirmed my order. Cancelling my order on the grounds of a pricing error, without offering a reasonable alternative or honoring the agreed-upon price, constitutes a bait and switch violation under Canadian law.Furthermore, the Scanner Accuracy provision within the Consumer Protection Act requires that retailers ensure the accuracy of pricing on their products. As a responsible retailer, Dell is legally obliged to ensure that the prices displayed on its website or provided to customers through quotes are accurate. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the law.It is imperative to emphasize that Dell's store policy cannot supersede or circumvent Canadian consumer protection laws. These laws exist to protect consumers like myself from deceptive practices and unfair treatment.I kindly request that Dell immediately rectify this situation by fulfilling my order for the Alienware Aurora R15 at the originally confirmed price. Failure to do so would not only be a violation of Canadian law but also a breach of trust between a long-standing customer and your company.

Review of cloudflare

Cloudflare do not care what they host

Cloudflare do not care what they host. I made them aware they were hosting a website that was publishing the names/addresses/phone numbers/photos of underage girls. They told me they wouldn't do anything because it wasn't technically hosted by them, they just protect the contact information of those who do. They refused to give me any information on how to contact the host, and then stopped replying.Cloudflare is nothing more than a front for pedophiles and their likes to use. They're currently protecting locatefamily.com who they refuse to cut ties with, despite the numerous lawsuits and again, the fact they're hosting the contact information of minors which has in at least one case, led to harassment and threats towards the child.EDIT: Their reply below confirms it. They will "pass on" the complaint and that is it. Even when they 100% know that illegal stuff is on the site, they won't cut ties because they "don't host it". This includes revenge porn sites. Basically, if the hosting company ignores you you're screwed because Cloudflare won't pass on their info to you. Cloudflare operates closer to a protection racket for pedophiles than a legitimate business.EDIT 2: Let me get clear with you, Cloudflare employee. My 15 year-old daughter was groomed by a pedophile and nude pictures of her uploaded to a website protecting BY YOU. It took us years to get the pictures down. In that time, men that were viewing my daughters nude pictures were able to google her name and go to locatefamily.com and get her full address and phone number. This led to dozens of police reports, WASTED police time, because you guys were protecting the men that run these sites. You are the ONLY common denominator between these sites. I do not give a single utter care about your "free speech" defense. You protect peodphiles. I wasn't going to share this story on here as it's personal, but you have damn right enraged me by daring to excuse your actions with a wired article about you protecting Nazis. You should be ashamed of yourself.EDIT 3: Cloudflare are attempting to get trustpilot to remove this review. They flag it as containing "bad language". I've received an email saying the review has been taken down, specifically because Cloudflare flagged it. This is the kind of company they are. I'm resubmitting the review.EDIT 4: THIS COMPANY I SWEAR TO GOD. Leave me alone! Stop responding to me, stop reporting me! I'm allowed to review you and you will not harass me into removing it! Cloudflare has contacted me, since this review has gone up, over 5 times about this SINGLE review. You guys are psychos! Also, I was a cloudflare customer, for over 2 years. Why are you accusing me of things and assuming things? You people are INSANE.They literally keep updating their response and spamming me and this review is OVER A YEAR OLD. IT'S NOT BEING TAKEN DOWN.Just so people are aware cloudflare are using their response box to argue with customers. They have edited their response to me over 5 TIMES. It's absolutely insane. Who has the time to even do this? Maybe put that energy into your failing business.EDIT 6: Review has been removed again because Cloudflare demanded it. Back up now. They're really mad about this review, huh?EDIT 7: review up again after being removed, again! Keep trying guys!
