Review of edx
EdX makes it possible for me to continue learning from expert instructors even though I live in a remote.location in South East Asia. I love the quality of the.content the flexibility of the platform and the fact that I can choose to audit or certify.

I bought 1 image and forgot to turn off the automatic renewal which I realised only after 2 months (of course paying the additional monthly fees...).I contacted Dreamstime and Kimberley answered immediately, explaining me what happened, turning off the automatic renewal and orginaising for refunding the fees paid in the meantime. Thanks a lot Kimberley, you're great! :-)

They have lots of stock images of great quality although they need to make more explicit that the free trial will just let you download watermarked images. If you want watermark-free you have to pay yes or yes. Really great user support, quick, thoughtful and empathic.
Review of xero
Have been using Xero for over 10 years. Since Xero forceful introduction to NEW invoicing, I have tried NEW invoicing but always revert to CLASSIC. It is very disappointing that, Xero is replacing a perfect CLASSIC invoicing with user unfriendly NEW invoicing which takes longer to perform the same tasks and looks ridiculously large on the screen. The prices keep going up for the downgraded service. A perfectly simple and easy to use software is becoming a clunky and not so much efficient. Not a happy user.

Review of google
A refund I received from a dating site Zookst acknowledged by Google pay as a refund has been held up by Google pay for several weeks now. They show online that they have refunded my money but they haven't. I asked Google pay for an explanation as to how this mistake could be made by them. It was supposed to be paid back into my PayPal account. When I rang them they kept me on the phone for an hour while they investigated the matter an obvious mistake by Google pay. They created a case id 3-7556000039161 for my complaint but no record of the details of my case ,what I was asking for nothing in writing on their website or even an email or txt message to me. Limiting their written records, communication to the customer of customer problems with their service is an obvious business design feature for them. The dating site Zookst was quick to provide proof of the refund being made to google pay. They were great in their emails to me. In the end all google pay had to say was they needed more time to investigate their mistake without any timeframe as to when they would get back to me with an explanation or when my refund may be given back to me. I put in a dispute case with PayPal and Google pay are not responding there either. PayPal will give me my money back in a week's time if Google pay for not respond. I guess Google pay will not ring txt or email me back explaining their mistake and how it happened in the same way they haven't put anything in writing about my case. Dealing with Google pays own mistakes isn't google pays forte. They have clever systems in place it to protect themselves against being accountable to their customers and protect their mistakes in every way they can. They won't give a phone number You cant get an email address even to send them proof of things in the form of pdf files. Now I find out they allow themselves 45 days to refund my money from the complaint date. Don't use their service to pay for things because if they make a mistake it takes many hours of your time in dealing with them if you can get though and if you are lucky you might get your money back after 2 months. Don't trust them.

Review of chase
Stay away from Chase!! Terrible overseas customer support and follow through!!! I was a long time holder of a Chase Credit Card (25 years plus). Recently I was booking airline tickets for a family trip. The transaction would not go through. After a couple of attempts reentering all the flight, passport and personal info I received an E mail message asking if the transaction I was attempting was legitimate. I confirmed it was a valid transaction and assumed problem solved. After two more attempts no luck. So I figured I would call customer service to remedy. After going through the prompts I was connected with a customer service representative overseas. I explained the problem and they could see the card was put on hold due to possible fraud. I went through the verification process and was assured the situation would be remedied right away. I was then put on hold for approximately ten minutes while the person was looking into my account, occasionally they checked in. They explained the computer was running slow and they were unable to see what they needed to on their end. While on hold I asked some general questions about the situation when the representative would check in. I received very canned responses that had very little to do with my questions. Soon after I started to realized the person could only respond to questions that were on a script they could reference plus every time that person checked in the background noise sounded like they were in a crowded call center or some over crowded venue. While waiting on hold, of course my flight site timed out and all the information was gone again. I had to start that process from scratch. Finally I told the person that I could not wait on hold anymore and that this was ridiculous. I went through the process of booking my flights and used another card without an issue. Unfortunately because of the situation my one time discount code with the airline became unusable which now cost me another couple hundred dollars to book the same flights. So after all this I tried to use my card at a gas station the next day, still did not work. I followed up with a subsequent call that day to Chase, went through the verification process and was again connect with an overseas representative. I went through the identity verification, explained the situation and was placed on hold while my information was being pulled up. After a couple minutes I was told I needed to speak with a different representative. On hold again. When the rep. would check in while on hold I would ask some account related questions only to receive off topic canned responses. After a couple minutes I had reached my full frustration level and told the representative I had to leave the call due to an upcoming appointment. They were sorry for the delay and a rep. would call tomorrow to remedy the situation. The next day came and went and here 30 days later I just cancelled the card ending my relationship with Chase. Chase used to be excellent, but now with AI and cost savings they appear to have outsourced their customer service and failed to have a data system that works globally. Kind of concerns me about the security of the whole situation as well. I have switched to a different back with onshore customer service.

Review of fineartamerica
I ordered a print on wood for my son in law for Christmas. The art arrived and had been printed with an obvious misalignment of the border. I planned to return the art to get the problem corrected or get it reprinted, but to return it by the required date was to cost more than the original cost. I was highly disappointed. I’m not sure I will ever order from them again.

It’s kinda nice the idea of gaming but I don’t like the slowness of it all and the aggressive notifications like “I am afraid of who skips a day” or the “you’re in danger of dropping to a lower league”… it’s uncomfortable and stressful
Review of consumerreports
I had used Consumer Reports for years and then abandoned them after two expensive items I bot which they recommended which turned into poor and very poor purchases. I have recently, again employed them in evaluating various items - but now follow them with much caution. They recommended the Honda HRX217K5VKAA Lawnmower at a cost of $630.35. It is an adequate mower except for several major flaws. It is very difficult to adjust the cutting height of the rear wheels and it is too heavy. One must use a pry-bar to raise or lower the rear wheels. Front wheels are easily adjustable as any other lawn mower. Also, as the mower is used the force required to pull the mower backwards is exhausting (requiring 30 to 50 pounds of force and is no way solvable without a major overhaul). The mower is heavier than average but powerful and self-propelling. It is not suited for the average female because of the forces needed to operate. At best it is tiring for the average man to mow a quarter acre unless the lawn is flat and without shrubs and other impediments. The second, and more costly item Consumer Reports recommended is the LGWT1001CW washing machine. Its poor cleaning abilities and overall damage expense that can be caused by the machine's operation resulted in LG withdrawing this model from its LG washing machine line after the first year of introduction on the market (with no damage compensation or returns to the consumer) . It was carelessly evaluated by Consumer Reports as superior but as far as I, an electrical engineer with 25 years of clothes washing experience see it, there are two major and costly flaws. 1. Adding bleach, as directed is obviously damaging the washed clothing. It stripped the color from expensive shirts, pants, towels and other costly and old, favorite and valued articles. The remedy is to dilute the bleach before adding as LG directed.2. In addition, in spite of the excess and wrongly applied bleach - the whites came out dingy. After many disasters, I finally developed the correct procedures and operation of the machine. I finally can get an acceptable, undamaged wash-load from this poorly engineered device. But this “LG” machine is definitely an expensive lemon - foisted on me and the public which Consumer Reports should have caught if not for their repetitive “assembly line” evaluating procedures. They didn’t deliver the service I paid them for but they are the only and best evaluators out there!
Review of zoom
There is virtually no customer service at Zoom. They refused to connect me to a person unless I had a paid account and my issue is with getting the account open. The website kicks me off before payment is finalized. I have tried several times. Today I was able to reach an "answering service" person who only took a message. Perhaps Zoom doesn't want to do business anymore?
