So I signed up in 2018

So I signed up in 2018, used the service for a couple of months and happily made two payments of £35 and then £29. After which I thought I cancelled my account. Little did I know, that they started taking £29/month since Feb 2023. Just how did that happen? If I failed to cancel the service why no charge for a few years and then magically they re-started...? I lost total of £600. I asked for a refund which they declined and now I'm disputing charges via my bank. Read other reviews - same story being told over and over again. Run a mile!

Well there are a few things that I don't like about google let's say 1 the photos are memories like they are suppose to for people to love and cherish not to be deleted 2nd is the email messages that come from spam or people that I don't even know like those email hackers or scammers3rd is when you order something from Google play store and you no longer ant the items or you want your refunds they say that it is not their catagories or place to give refunds back well why bother having these items in your store when you can't even give back refunds as I have no other browsers to use to get emails or messages or to keep my pictures safe as long as they don't ask to delete my memories like really that is rude very rude as for my refunds I want them back

Review of mailchimp

The service does not work correctly, the service has gone into politics. Templates are bad

mailchimp used to be a normal service, but apparently with the purchase of it by an intuitive company, it ceased to be normal. Now this service is engaged in politics, it disables "objectionable" accounts without warning. For example, my account from Russia and this service were deleted without explanation. They didn't let me download my contact database, they didn't let me download my email templates. The situation is aggravated by the fact that the support of the mailchimp service turned off the possibility of delivering letters from Russia. Thus, I cannot "pull out" my bases accumulated over several years in any way. Moreover, I used paid plans, it's even more sad...And the worst thing about all this is that my account was used for internal church mailings, for congratulations on Christian holidays and similar church needs. It’s not at all clear to me how and with what my account could “harm” the mailchimp service so much that it was so “offended” by me - in fact, you harmed the church and went against God ...I do not recommend this service for serious projects, one day your account may become "undesirable" for political reasons.

AVOID LOWES COUNTERTOPS

If I could give Lowes & their countertop fabricator & installation team (Rocksolid Surfaces) a zero I would. I ordered & paid for my countertops July 17, 2024 the installation was finally completed April 11, 2025 - 8 1/2 months later. There was not one step in this process that went smoothly. They came in & did the measurements & wanted to apply change orders - i.e. additional charges, then appeared to lose the order, finally scheduled the installation then called to move up the installation, which I could not accommodate. They then called to cancel the installation, on the day they wanted to move it up to, as they did not have the material to complete the project. A month later they installed it. I had to 12 foot countertops & a bathroom vanity top put in. They chipped the pieces at the seam of one of the countertops & the backsplash looked like amateurs had done the work. The next day the other countertop shifted so the seam was not even. They came back after multiple calls & trips to the store & fixed the one countertop that had shifted & removed the other one & were going to recut a piece. When they came back to re-install the countertop the replacement piece didn't fit & to me did not appear to be cut correctly. They took these back & were to re-cut both pieces. When they were installing the top at this time or taking it off they damaged my new cabinets.They finally did this & re-installed it the countertop. To me it doesn't appear to be the same quality cut & finish as the other one. With each visit the vanity top seemed to be lost but I did get pieces to replace the mess that was originally installed & on their final visit the 2 gentlemen that came did fix this & it is much better. Since I've made over 36 phone calls to Lowes & 19 visits to the store since this project was started I've been told to get any kind of refund or discount on the project for how long it has taken I would need to wait for the project to be completed. Since the completion of the project I've had no follow-up from Lowes & in fact went to the store to inquire about this on Sunday & on Thursday called their national installation line & was told they didn't even have this project marked as being installed. Once again I'm on hold & waiting for Lowes.Amazingly my best friend started building a house 3 months after I ordered my countertops & his daughter & son-in-law moved in 2 weeks before my countertops were finally installed correctly.I've also been told the third party contractor Lowes uses for countertops (Rocksolid Surfaces out of Cleveland) also does installation for Home Depot.

Very Poor Delivery & Support Service

10 days before diving holiday I ordered a GoPro Hero 9 and accessories paid £450, money taken from my card, but nothing delivered. Called Gopro and they stated an Admin error had occurred their side and the order had been cancelled even though they had my money. No email from they to tell me this. So with 4 days to go before my holiday I ordered and paid again with GoPro support stating if I paid £10 for fast shipping I would receive the kit day before I went on holiday. 1800 Hrs day before holiday nothing received, called GoPro again now stated it would be delivered in 2 days time, too late i'm on Holiday in Spain! Requested refund of £10 shipping fee which they said ok. I also requested delivery to my neighbour whose door is 5 feet from mine which they said they would as I would be in Spain.Whilst on holiday received notification that they had tried to deliver to me but no one home!! Instruction to deliver to neighbour ignored. So again I called them and requested delivery to neighbour, again they tried to deliver to me the following day! So I called again this time I stated hold parcel and deliver to me on my return from holiday this they said they would do. But again following day they tried to deliver to my home!! Again phoned and requested delivery on 17th August 2021 when I would be at home. This they said would be done and they sent a text and email stating delivery on 17/8/2021 between 0915 hrs and 1215 hrs. Took the morning off work as unpaid leave waited in but no delivery.Called again and a repeat of the above but for 18th August 2021, received confirmation text and email to say delivery between 0915 hrs and 1215 hrs, took morning off again, unpaid, but again no delivery……You guessed it, called again and was told now it may take up to 2 further weeks to locate my delivery and send it to me. Still not received my £10 shipping and lost nearly 1 months Quick subscription as I have no kit!!Seriously poor delivery and support service from GoPro and its UK delivery partner UPS!!

Review of Etsy

Etsy doesnt care about its sellers

Etsy just suspended my shop after nearly 2 years hard work and only positive reviews and no policy violations .You get the chance to appeal their decision and it says you will have an answer in "up to 2 weeks".They claim it is an extensive review. However my answer came back in 2 minutes, proving that no human ever saw my appeal. They give no reason either, which is very convenient for them. And there is no way to contact them to dispute this. This is automated process performed with some algorithm. No human ever looks at this. So thats it. Game over. Shop closed forever and you never can sell on etsy again!. That feels like a kick in the balls after all the hard work I put in.I checked online and there are literally thousands of sellers in the same boat. Did nothing wrong but got closed down. Overall they are despicable company and hopefully some other platform comes along soon and takes all their business and looks after the sellers and the buyers. Look at their reviews and trust scores all over the net. An average of 1.2. That says it all.
