Review of lastpass

Unreliable service and frustrating customer service. Save yourself the trouble.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but in this case I will. Choosing what company to trust with your passwords is an important decision, and my experience may help someone.I used LastPass for two years, so I've spent enough time with it both to test it thoroughly, and also for them to sort out any troubles, even those that take some time to fix.The good stuff first. The software is easy to use (which is not always the case with encryption software), although not as slick as some other providers. It's multi-platform and available offline. The price is lower than some of the more expensive alternatives. Then, not so good:The software over time proved to be frustratingly unreliable (repeatedly failing to save passwords, crashing and failing to recognize forms from even the biggest providers) that had me going to customer service on several occasions. This is where it got really bad. I was repeatedly met with condescending and rude customer service that never followed up as promised or even tried to solve any issues.I can't speak for their security (though they are the only provider that has been hacked several times), but from a customer perspective, LastPass has been a nightmare for me. Their values seem to be completely in the wrong place, which is not something you want from someone entrust with all your passwords. From the forums, I've learned that I'm not alone. Users are complaining about bugs, missing passwords and horrible customer service, mostly to deaf ears.I recommend you skip LastPass and check out some of their more serious competitors like 1Password or Dashlane. You may save a few bucks on LastPass, but there's a reason it's cheaper.

SCAM. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

We actually went through with the service, and I honestly wish we hadn’t. This was hands down one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. The information provided beforehand was incredibly unclear — crucial details were either missing or buried in fine print, which caused major issues when we got there.Once we were on-site, things only got worse. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in helping us resolve anything. We were spoken to with zero respect, and their dismissive attitude made an already stressful situation even more frustrating. And the £300 deposit? Completely unjustified. For what we received, it felt like we were being scammed. The quality of service didn’t come close to matching the price — it was an absolute rip-off.

Review of eBay

EBAY UNLOYAL TO SELLERS

I sold a piece and shipped the item. Upon receipt the buyer sent me a note saying poor pack job part is damaged. Went on to state that the box it was shipped in arrived perfect. The item was a coke hot wheel that is encased in a hard plastic shell. I always fill the box with empty grocery bags to keep the item safe. The damage he claimed was absolutely impossible if the box was not damaged. Unfortunately, they surround themselves with people who obviously have zero common sense and go under the rule the buyer is always right. They don't allow for negative feedback to the buyer and will scrub any if written. It was stated to me, no buyers, we don't need sellers. Hence it breeds scammers trying to swap their damaged items for perfect items. I have zero need for EBAY as there are plenty of avenues to sell. Beware if you decide to sell there.

Frequent Fraud

It is becoming more frequent that sellers do not send products and do not respond to messages. While eBay does eventually refund these transactions the process is too long and drawn out. They need to remove sellers that have consistently followed this fraudulent activity!

Review of ulta

The ulta beauty app is ridiculous

The ulta beauty app is ridiculous. Even though you’re logged into your account, you have to go and personally activate any deals. Such as bonus points on any purchase. If you forget, or jump the gun on ordering, you can’t cancel your order and redo it. For an app that keeps track of your profile, and your ulta rewards, it should automatically apply any bonus point awards. Or at least allow you to cancel and redo. It’s the same for those free gift items, sometimes it’s not automatically added into your purchase, they expect you to go to the product and select it. Also I swear on everything, if you use the app and make a purchase, not two hours later that exact item will be listed as some new special offer. Either discounted, free gift, bonus points and such. I love the store and products but the advertisements and valued customer incentives need to be better.

Avoid Telstar

Avoid Telstar: Fraudulent Billing, Poor ServiceTelstar's service is a nightmare of deceit and incompetence. Frequent disruptions, slow speeds, and unresponsive customer support plague their offerings. Cancelling is no escape—despite termination, they persistently bill. Steer clear to save yourself from their fraudulent practices and subpar service.
