Oh how the mighty have fallen

Oh how the mighty have fallen, this airline company has fallen to a new low. Flew to Dubai from Newcastle in march and have to say how very poor the cabin crew were, rude and forgetful it was so shambolic. Gone are the days when they would come round offering people a drink, now you have to press a button above your head to ask for a drink, they must be saving a fortune. When it came to the meal service it ended up a farce with cabin crew forgetting to give out various peoples meals and not offering a drink with your meal, you had to ask for a drink and if they did not have a certain drink they said they would go to back of plane and return, which they never did. It was a lottery if you got a drink or not and one crew member was very rude to some people in front of me saying they were drinking to much and should be hydrating and not dehydrating ( chance would be a fine thing). If you were lucky enough for a crew member to answer your call ( I was not) they would go get your order but then forget who had ordered it so just went up and down the aisle shouting "Who ordered the Tiger beer", it was just farcical. A little tub of ice cream or a small packet of popcorn was your last offering before arriving in Dubai. It's no exaggeration to say like other people have said on here that Jet 2 and easyjet couldn't do any worse than these clowns.On the return flight the crew were better but my seat was so uncomfortable, hardly any padding in the seat all. The triple 7 planes have without doubt have seen better days and need refurbished.I had already booked another holiday to Mauritius in June last August before booking my recent experience and If I knew Emirates had turned this bad I would of booked BA via Heathrow instead.Just to rub salt into the wounds I have just been informed by the travel agent I booked with (Destination 2) that Emirates want another £49 from me as a late surcharge even though I paid my balance 10 days a go. Absolutely disgraceful!!!!!!!!Hang your head in shame Emirates.

Booking.com holding refund from hotel that refunded me. Now contacting Barclaycard

I booked a stay with booking.com at Windermere Manor Hotel on the 14th June to 17th June 2025 booking reference 4891821768.I had multiple issues with this stay and contacted booking.com 3 times by email whilst on the stay, but no reply back.After the stay I put an official complaint into the hotel who agreed to refund £275 back of the 2 rooms we booked and send me a confirmation email to show they had refunded the money to booking.com and I now need to contact them to return it to my card.I spoke to an advisor from Booking.Com 6 days ago who contacted the hotel to confirm the agreed refund. He then informed me that he would process the refund and I should have it back on my card within a few days.I recontacted Booking.com today the 29th June 2025 as I still have not received the payment.The advisor said they would need to confirm the refund with the hotel again and for me to hold on the line whilst they do this. They then informed me that they could see I was due a refund but as it had gone over a set time they would have to email there financial team to speak to them about a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there was none available I asked to make a complaint and have it logged and someone to call me back the call agent then quickly ended the call.I am not contacting Barclaycard to put this into a dispute.Booking.com I will never use you again your service is terrible right from contacting you regarding problems at the stay and right up to now you not refunding the money to me that the hotel has refunded I have revalent emails for this and will be contacting Barclaycard and the Windermere Manor Hotel to inform them of your behaviour.

Why do we have to pay a tv license for such garbage they should fend for themselves. They do not cater for the older generation when tv was good. Now it’s just cooking programs or dancing programs and repeats utter rubbish

Poor

Arrived in a timely way. Was sat waiting though driver didn’t knock. Didn’t ring doorbell. Left parcel sticking out the letterbox as would not fully fit through. Only knew it was there as I was waiting and it showed up as delivered so went to check. Not happy. Anyone could have removed it!

Warning to anyone signing up to Adobe

Warning to anyone signing up to Adobe. They are deceptive in the way they get you to sign up and I found it difficult locating there payment method. When I did and cancelled it they tell me cancelling will cost me £74. I have never used their product. This is an awful deceptive company, despite the millions they spend on marking. I am sickened and cannot afford to lose £74 being a pensioner. Do not fall for this company's shoddy marketing.

Very poor

Very poor, no response to enquiries or tech support. Signed up for 30 day trial, price advertised monthly hut states billed annually. With 24 hours of starting my 30 day trial they took £560 out of my account. A week later no response. Eventually had to report it as fraud to my bank to get my money back. Two months later I've still had no response from the company.

How is it possible not to love ASUS?!

I don't understand how it's possible to have a bad experience with ASUS! If you're reading the bad reviews below, please do so under guidance as I think it's possible to navigate their customer service system, with a bit of patience. The website might not be the most intuitive but I managed it and I'm no genius.First, I can't believe how much laptop I got for the money with my nearly-new ASUS C433TA. I love Chromebooks anyway but this one was astounding - so slim, folds all the way round, can be a tablet too, backlit keyboard, super fast. I tell my boyfriend almost every day how much I love it.Unfortunately the backlit keyboard developed a fault a few months in. I went to the ASUS website, followed the cues, uploaded my proof of purchase, and they arranged a pickup for the NEXT DAY.. I didn't even have to box it up. 3 days later (including weekend) I've got it back better than ever.I'm not sure how much better it gets than that. I was a lifelong Apple customer before I got tired of spending so much money on hardware, and this is as good if not better (I didn't have to queue in a Genius bar 40mins drive away from where I live).ASUS, you've won me as a long-term customer!

They literally tell you that you broke the display and now you must pay. They attach pictures of the button stuck and not the broken display. Reddit suspended my account for harrasment. Won’t specify

Reddit suspended my account for harassment yet can’t provide the proof. I suspect it is because I used the expression “every dog has its day” in a comment. Subsequently attempted unsuccessfully to delete my account. Every attempt to communicate with Reddit fails. UPDATE: I finally deleted my account. I still hate Reddit for its arbitrary and disrespect of its users. I was permanently banned for simply reading posts that came on my stream. They said r/conspiracy was a “hate”’group. Btw I read various comments. The group is not a monolith. There are many varied views expressed but I never felt any were overtly hateful in the least. F Reddit!!!
