Review of eventbrite
Scammers. Bought tickets worth $160, cancelled less than a week later. Given a worthless credit that has no future events. Basically Dan Hunter will scam and take your money. Eventbrite cant be reached, nor do they want to handle the fraud of their event planners. Reached out multiple times with no help. I advise DO NOT sign any events with Dan Hunter, Color Run or Eventbrite. They WILL take your money and run (pun intended)!!!

Review of opentable
I'm happily booking a table online for a local restaurant in Staffordshire when this OpenTable takes over. Found I'd been booked into a restaurant in West End Lane in London, fortunately realised and cancelled immediately. This has got to be a scam, definitely not above board. Avoid ..

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the ICO's handling of my complaint regarding the serious violation of my rights by my GP, (Copsewood Medical Centre). Despite my legitimate request for access to my medical records, the centre has been delaying the provision of these files for over five months, which is a clear breach of the regulations. They have also demanded an unjustifiable fee and are attempting to dictate the format in which I receive the files, despite the law clearly stating that patients have the right to request their records in the most appropriate form. When I raised this issue with the ICO (Sarah Brown), I expected a thorough investigation and fair consideration. Unfortunately, my complaint was dismissed without any proper investigation. I was denied the opportunity to appeal, and no meaningful action was taken against the GP. This is not just an oversight but a failure to uphold the basic human rights to which I am entitled.I am extremely concerned that the ICO, which is supposed to protect individuals’ rights, has shown such disregard for these principles. How my case was handled suggests a lack of competence and raises serious questions about the integrity of the organization. This experience has led me to believe that the ICO is not fulfilling its duty as an impartial regulatory body and is instead contributing to the perpetuation of injustices like the one I am facing. I urge the ICO to reassess its procedures and ensure that complaints are handled with the seriousness and attention they deserve.

Horrified by the way this company concealed their egregious faults for the software they were responsible for in the case of the Royal Mail scandal, where loads of innocent people were sent to prison thanks to their mistakes - which they knew about!!

Review of BBC
The app update appears to have been designed in order to make us feel we have gone back in time. I keep thinking I have accidentally accessed the 2008 bbc news website…it really is that bad. Really hope they act quickly on the conclusive feedback that seems to be shared

Review of preply
June 23, this an Update about the complaint that was written below on Jun 21after their reply to go back to the customer services after more than 30 minutes between 2 agents they finally retrieved and returned the classes back. Thank you Preply for understanding but the policy of the 28 day of expiration is unfair and not necessary. in fact I left a feed back suggestion for this matter. I make it 4 stars only fairly because of the back and fourth and when i asked the first time they rejected me. ---------------------------------------------------------------Poor Experience with Preply - Beware of Credit Expiration PolicyWarning: Unused class credits expire after 28 days with no refundI had a frustrating experience with Preply's credit system that cost me significant money. Here's what happened:I initially signed up for a 4-class package, but later accidentally upgraded to 12 classes when I only had an agreement with my teacher for 8 classes per month. While I acknowledge this was my mistake, Preply's handling of the situation was disappointing. The main issues:Automatic expiration: Any unused class credits expire after just 28 daysNo flexibility: Credits are lost permanently with no option for refund or extensionOngoing losses: I lost 4 classes every month for 6 consecutive months due to this policyPoor customer service: When I finally contacted support after 6 months, they only restored 6 classes out of the 24 I had lostI lost approximately 18 paid classes (24 lost minus 6 restored) due to their rigid expiration policy. While I understand that some expiration policies exist, losing paid credits after just 28 days feels unreasonable, especially when life circumstances or scheduling conflicts prevent you from using all classes immediately.Recommendation: If you're considering Preply, be very careful about:Only purchasing the exact number of classes you can definitely use within 28 daysSetting reminders to use credits before they expireReading the fine print about their expiration policyThis experience has made me reconsider using their platform in the future.

On Wednesday, May 22nd, I purchased a 2014 Mercedes C300 from Mini of Alexandria at 5990 Duke Street, Alexandria VA. It seemed to be a great deal. The car had less than 25k miles and was reasonably priced. I worked with Matt who came across as a great salesman and seemed to be genuine. He even mentioned they always sell great used vehicles because they want great reviews and returning customers. About 4 days after purchasing the vehicle (no warranty was included because they are not a certified Mercedes dealer), I took it to a certified Mercedes dealer who said that the car was in excellent condition overall but had a leak in the engine. A leak that was there for a while based on the residue. I immediately took the vehicle back to Mini of Alexandria to look into the concern. I was told that they would not repair it because it would not have passed inspection if it was previously damaged and they do not honor the standard 5 day return policy in VA. The Mercedes dealer service center made it clear that an engine leak would not have stopped the car from passing inspection so in my opinion Mini of Alexandria failed to effectively diagnose the car prior to its sale (or they did not reveal the repair needed). Ultimately I was stuck with a $1500 repair on a newly purchased car with no remorse from Matt or anyone else at Mini of Alexandria. They even refused to look at the car to access the damage. My advice is to stay clear of this dealer. Once they get your money they do not care about anything that follows. It was very disappointing that they did not do more to assist as it was apparent that the leak was old due to the residue. I'm thankful that it wasnt an overly expensive issue and that I can get it resolved but suppose the repair was more extensive? I plan to seek legal counsel forrestitution as this entire situation is unfair. Do not go to Mini of Alexandria if you want a reputable dealer.

I spent 20 minutes this morning waiting for these catastrophically incompetent clowns to send me a safekey code so I could complete an online checkout. Despite having an excellent phone signal and hitting resend 5 times, it was a total fail, so I ended up having to use my debit card. Amex eventually sent my codes in a heap half an hour later.

Review of lg
I purchased an LG ultra large turbo washer and dryer 2-1/2 years ago costing $989 each piece (on sale). The washer started making a loud noise during the spin cycle, so I called an LG authorized dealer to diagnose the problem. It ends up that it's the bearings going out and will cost $780 to repair. LG says it's over 12 months old so it's my cost but they will gladly order the parts. SERIOUSLY LG!!!??? The dryer has a bad sensor and again, it's my cost to repair as it's over 12 months old.To sum it up, I paid a total of $2,306 which included the washer, dryer, hoses, tax, etc. and they only lasted 30 months.... so it's cost me $76.86 a month to own an LG washer & dryer and now I have to either spend over $1,000 to repair both, or go buy a new washer and dryer.... that definately won't be LG. Washers & dryers use to last 30 years. Then it went to 10-15 years, now you're lucky if you get 2-1/2 years LG has lost any quality they may have had previously. My recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM LG UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY!!!
