Media mod broke so called customer…

Media mod broke so called customer service to ship me one since I have warranty. They sent me a microphone sponge. Called them and explained. Told me they'll send me it. Never came so called again. Told me they will send me a tracking number. Second item came. Wrong item again. Called them again and explained again that they sent me the wrong item AGAIN. They said they'll email. Never came so had to call again. They said wait 3 days for a response. Told them you said that last time. Argued and so the man said OK I'll check one more time. Got put on hold. Then he said the media mod should arrive today or tomorrow. The wrong media mod model arrived today. It does not fit with my gopro hero 9. It must be for a different model. They said they will send a Gopro Chester for my inconvenience but that never arrived as well. Wish I can go over there and scream at their faces.

I've used Etsy three times and twice now I've either had a problem with the item or the item hasn't been dispatched 2 weeks after they said it had. It appears it's just a bunch of cowboys and scammers dressing up with fancy photographs. It will be the last time I use this site. Avoid BonnieBoutique22 scam.

Absolutely shocking’ a Number of times Iv waited until 10.00 pm for Delivery and it don’t turn up and they don’t even have the decency to inform me,The app will refresh after 10.00pm saying that I’m not getting my items sometimes days after it was scheduled for and paid for same day! I spend Thousands with Amazon and been a prime member since the beginning but now will be cancelling my accounts and giving other site a go’ never had an issue with EBay or Etsy’ Absolute Disgrace,W Thomas

Awkward (in more ways than one!)

When I signed up on Wattpad to practice my writing and read works by others, I came across some Duran Duran fanfiction, which I thought might be interesting to read and was disgusted!90% of it is perverse, badly written, smutty twaddle (usually set in the '80s) often highlighting band members in an immoral way. Are these really fans??? Do they not have any respect for the band and their families, even self respect for themselves for spouting their obsessive obscenities?Also, the set up is awkward to deal with-you can't seem to edit fonts easily, the Canva add on is hard to manage and trying to get yourself read seems to depend on pot luck and dependent on certain 'tags' to describe your work.I gave up in less than a week.

I use it for my busy medical spa and have been very happy with the how efficient it is. customer service is always just a call away for help as well.

All three of the items I purchased online didn't fit or were terrible quality, wanted to return them but you can't do that in their stores. They want you to print out a shipping label, pay for the shipping and wait weeks. This is a shady business practice and I will NEVER purchase from them again. I’ll be honest

I’ll be honest. They were over an hour late than the arrival time, and didn’t get everything that I asked them to. I had to go back myself for shelves, lamps, and decorative things. I didn’t know until I walked back in and they were already gone. It was about $300 over what was quoted, which I understand is needed when they go overtime, but I didn’t have that much to move. Especially with some things being left behind. Nothing was damaged and most of it was moved, but still.

Unable to access book due to system update

My daughter ordered an ebook for college and was unable to see her order on her order status page, nor was she able to see the ebook on her purchased ebook page due to an system update. When she called, she was told there was a system update happening and the rep stated did not know when she would have access. In addition, when asked to get a refund was told that the rep was unable to do so because of the system update. However, I requested to speak to a supervisor who was able to provide a refund. Highly dissapointed! The website should have indicated that there was a system update and my daughter should have been able to get a refund as soon as she requested one as she needed the book immediately for school. This is not like Barnes and Noble so we are very dissapointed. Please consider letting customers know when there is an update. Students need their books when they need them.

It has been mentioned many, many times in the negative reviews...why a payment before any kind of account set up? Seems to me that " Scribd " if legit, should have fixed this concern or issue by now. You pay but have no log in credentials to cancel your "free trail" Sounds fishy to me, I don't need another headache! FYI, after posting my review, Scribd’s reply is self explanatory to my point…I’m not the only one making this point… BUYER BEWARE

Despite the fact that I tried in several occasions to cancel this subscription that I've barely used 3 times in one week in 2021...they still robbing me on the 3rd year now. Been cancelled their subscription with barclays, as none are answering but a month later they still taking money out as they got my details. No replies whatsoever, proper scammers. I will contact ombudsman.

Thomas Cook Cash Passport (Mastercard) False, misleading Credit Information!

I used this Thomas Cook Cash Passport (Mastercard) while in Hong Kong a week after my Return to the UK I called this Mastercard Company I was in $40 Credit and I asked Twice and was given this statement on the phone "You are in $40 CREDIT!!!"

Sadly By chance I found after upsettingly having my card refused, Bounced that now I am informed that I am allegedly in Deficit by over $40 and had to pay £27:14 to a Rebecca 2303 to clear this Alleged debt!

They refused to accept that I was earlier informed TWICE by their employee on 1st November that I was in Credit $40 and I feel I have been Lied to and made to pay £27:14 to clear a False debt when I was in Credit and had not used the card since.

I am very upset by the way I have been treated I prize my honesty and Never ever being in Debt and take the person I spoke to on 1st November 2015 at this Bank (Mastercard) by Word when he insisted TWICE that was in Credit by $40 I never used the card since !

The way I was treated by this company of Thomas cook Cash passport (Mastercard) was utterly appalling and being forced to pay A Debt I did Not have proves this company is Not to be trusted. I had them cancel this Prepaid Card and contact the Financial Ombudsman after I was forced to pay this Fake Debt!.

This Company Completely Refused to acknowledge that at least twice I was informed (on 1st November 2015) I was in $40 Credit by their employee and made me feel Like I was a Liar !

Utterly Terrible Company Never to be trusted !

Already mentioned a few times - Glassdoor is one huge fraud. Very likely allowing paying companies to put thousands of fake positive reviews on its site and order the removal of anything posted thats negative. Some of the companies Glassdoor cites as being the top 50 places to work for (due to their own unethical behaviour) have the worst cases of bullying, threats & harassment ever seen in the workplace..

Bad translations and bad English

I cannot progress. I have to choose the French for the English word "football". The answer is "football" for tout le monde, with the exception of one country. There is an option for "Football Americain" in the selection, but that is incorrect as the English for that is "American football" - for tout le monde except for one country. And note that "soccer" is mainly used in one country, or by people whose preferred form of football is one of the two codes of rugby. In the case of the latter, "soccer" is often used as an insult - its use is often felt as an insult to anglophones whose choice of game is football.As well as that, Duolingo uses American only words - fall, cookie, mom, etc., that are not (or rarely) used by the rest of the world. It comes across to me as if they are treating any non-US learner with contempt.Duolingo always uses "who" when they should use "whom", and "less" when they should use "fewer". If they cannot use correct English, how can we be confident that they are using correct French?It's potentially a good idea, although it could be a lot more demanding so that one could progress more, but with its US-centric approach and seeming disdain for anglophones in the rest of the world, from Canada through India to Australia, there's much work needed to be done.

Amazon changing referral fee categories without seller knowledge resulting in higher fees

It has come to my attention that listings are being placed in incorrect and alternative fee referral categories resulting in base rate Amazon commissions increasing dramatically in Amazon's favour. This is being done without seller knowledge and is being hidden from sellers. There is no Amazon warning about this. When you open a case about this issue it is impossible to get a resolution. Amazon insist they have put the item in the correct fee referral category. For instance I have a listing for an artificial flower set up many years ago in the correct browse node category of Home & Kitchen > Home Accessories > Artificial Flora > Artificial Flowers. It was placed by Amazon without communicating it to me in the Jewellery section with t result of a 35% extra base rate referal fee which now makes this item unprofitable. After complaining they changed it to the Clothing referral fee category. Their latests response is - "We have reviewed your suggestion and are unable to accept the suggested category browse node change. This product is assigned to the current category based on the detail page and how Amazon customers find products through search and browse. Thank you for selling with Amazon."I am suggesting that everyone on this forum checks their amazon commission base rate fees in their orders on the transaction view page of their seller central account. Let's everyone get behind this? It could be costing some sellers thousands of pounds in extra fees. Is anyone willing to set up a 38 Degrees petition about this to Jeff Bezos to stop this underhand way of charging sellers without their knowledge? It is only when an account holder asks why the fees have gone up that they find out that this has been done discreetly by Amazon. Sellers who don't challenge this will never find out. I believe this is dodgy practice by Amazon and I am minded to report this to BBC Watchdog. Is anyone else wililng to do the same?
