Avast is a pain in the neck

Avast is a pain in the neck. They interrupt my computer time by coming on screen and covering whatever I was looking at. They make it difficult to click them off the screen. They are there to fill their own pockets without giving a hoot of how disturbing they are. I say they should respect their customers time and look for business in another direction.

82% 1 star review… I wish I seen this before buying rog strix laptop less than a year ago… It has been a nightmare ever since, always update and system issues. wifi connection issues because of drivers or what not. windows 11 issues. NOW LAST BIOS ISSUES and my display just went black… day later no response from you and god knows when will you even answer and laptop is useless no display but its working.

Really need to turn off 'suggested for you' on feed as it completely destroys user experience and is genuinely unnecessary.Overuse of AI undermines user safety. AI is not viable in this area as it only works on algorithms and doesn't take into consideration individual experience.

Creation of a new account on bitwarden.eu and transfer of the Premium licences to the new account by the support team.Very fast support, licences were moved without any problems. The data export and import into the new account went smoothly.

I too deleted my account with them a few years ago as I became disabled and moved out of state, yet I still received “job opportunities” from “employers” constantly that say they’ve gotten my resume from CareerBuilder, which hasn’t been updated since 2017. Furthermore, there is no way to contact CareerBuilder to fix this, so I’m still getting annoying emails, but had to change my cell phone number so the calls and texts (I would get these texts that listed my name and address from random numbers, which was very creepy) would stop.

You are looking for a Lead for your business ? Run away Thumbtack!!!They are thieves.Facts:They charge you $30-$40 for leads for services that cost $100. Even if the LEAD does not take the service from you. And guess what... this happens 9 times out of 10.Worst of all, there is an option where a person can book directly. 140$ are charged... Always for a cost of 120$ or 130$ of service. So this is a total scam!Moreover, this famous option, normally you can not activate it. But it is automatically activated. But you don't know that. So you receive an appointment, you are charged. And you lose money.So I'm still hesitating between calling it a theft or a real scam, ... And so when you're a small business owner... It eats into your cash flow. Just without making you grow.Just run away.

I have been a Pro on Thumbtack for a few years, with two separate business. Thumbtack is a scam as it steals hard earned monies from its Pro's who are trying to build a small business. They take our money and then when you try to get a refund when the Leads do not respond they deny the refund. As the years have gone by I believe that they are using more AI BOTS and are fake leads. Customers have no idea how much we the Pro has to pay to just talk to them. Thumbtack has become wealthy on the backs of hard working small business owners trying to make a living, its a scam!

We ordered our Christmas Dinner of Standing Rib Roast Dinner for 8 from Gourmet Foods a project of the Food network. We ordered and paid on December 15, 2024 to be delivered on December 23, 2024. I tried to request information as to when the order would come or a tracking number for days. Finally we received an answer to our chat and email stating they would cancel the order and refund our money on 12/23/2024. We didn't have time to order from another catering service with less than 24 hrs. to Christmas Dinner. We tried to follow up today but have not gotten a satisfactory response as to when we can expect a refund. We think we're not alone. So, The food Network and it's Gourmet Foods site on Shop are a failure. Please refund our $129.00.UPDATE as of February 14, 2025 still have not seen a refund.

My pc is dead because of you guys. thanks for the absolute tomfoolery your team of scallywags and lickspittles commited to, just to ruin a month of my life that i will never get back. And to think that a cheap ubereats giftcard makes up for billons of losses in multiple ways across the entire globe is a bunch of crap and outright misjudgement. The only way you could redeem yourselves is by fixing it swiftly and not messing up again. How are you so feeble minded? How hard is it to check an update on a designated pc before it goes worldwide? Or the alternative being, just code it right! It is not that hard. Get it together.

cancelled order automatically, replacement delayed, fake commitments

Amazon is amazing in making you fool!!Placed two orders (404-6883852-9156325 and 404-3572128-0007567) with one day deliver on 22nd July, Placed a request with Jai R to cancel one. He confidently said i'll get one package and the other one is cancelled. However, both were cancelled. When asked over the chat abt the status, Raj(the rude) informed me both orders are cancelled as they were sent in same shipment by the seller. Blamed the seller and his job was done, a few hours later, i was so lucky to find Yuvana Reddy on chat. She placed replacement for the order (oneplus 3) and told me that she will personally look into it and the phone will be delivered in time. Two days later, had a word with SIndhuja, even she talked in the same confident manner. I contacted again on 27th JUly as tracking details were nt updated and this time found another super confident Amazon agent Banupriya. She said the same that i'll get the package on 28th July. All this while, i did not receive even a single mail, call or sms from Amazon acknowledging their errors and delays. Now, Amazon need extra 24-48 hours to deliver my package. When i talked about the one-day delivery, the answer i got was "you will get shipment charges back." I may or may not get the shipment charges back but you will never get this customer back. Also, I got Moto G 4 Plus for my dad from Amazon order # 404-5650150-8412322. It was defective. Got replacement two days late. Amazon didn't feel like acknowledging it let alone the refund of shipping charges! T.H.A.N.K. Y.O.U.
