NEVER Again I did an online booking for a National…

I did an online booking for a National Trust PolesdonLacey in Surrey on the 16th Oct their booking system let me book on the actual day we wanted to go I made sure it was correct that it was on the day the 16th it was before 9am I booked it. When I received my email it stated Monday the 19th Oct! I most definitely didnt make a mistake I rang thro to the Nat Trust they said they would look into it but were saying the system wouldn't have let me book on the day I was actually going but I know it did.. so it was their error not mine.. as I explained I wouldn't have booked the following Monday my 2 dogs were at our minders the Fri 16th which we payed £30 pounds plus we were in Essex area and we wernt allowed to be mixing after that day due to Covid restrictions being put in place so no way I would have booked the 19th i know their system let me book it... They finally came back to me yesterday the say they are very sorry but no refund will be given we were Nat Trust members for many years that meant nothing it seems now looking at these reviews on here and probably many other places that Eventbrite are just stealing people's money how National Trust a so called charity can use such an awful company to book tickets do this event brite ever refund? Doesn't look like it to me

Hopeless customer service.

Hopeless customer service. We have a Festival running over a weekend.Eventbrite has put the Saturday tickets at the bottom of the list.People can't find them so aren't booking assuming they are all sold.Eventbrite aren't correcting their error or offering any sort of solution. We are very dissapointed and are lossing money through their mistake.

Review of chess

The platform for cheaters and insecure losers

Once even one singular cheater infiltrates the platform, they contaminate the entire pool. Thing is chess.com has more cheaters vs. actual legit players. It's hilarious that they try to entice you to become a paid member even. Why anyone would is beyond me. Stay away from the online battles, everyone on there is a hacking cheat using app engines to win it. So blatantly obvious. It doesn't take a grand master to see it. Funny thing is these cheaters don't even try to hide the fact, they are all candid about it.

As a podcast producer I would like to…more download statistics

As a podcast producer I would like to see more information regarding downloads. With over 50 episodes now in circulation it would be helpful to see for instance - a latest download stat for each episode.

Buzzsprout has been awesome to host our podcast…

Buzzsprout has been awesome to launch and build our podcast. The web interface is quick, easy to use, and intuitive. Customer support is always quick to respond and has been very helpful. The only slight negative is the limitations on data reporting. Buzzsprout keeps improving it, but it still doesn't always provide the level of detail we are looking for.

Android 12 update rendered phone…

Android 12 update rendered phone useless as sim cards stopped working. This is a problem I see others are having.Sent phone to Hungary under warranty. They sent it back unrepaired, saying that their was liquid damage. I have no idea about liquid damage as that never occurred. I simply received the android 12 update and had the same issue as others. All they needed to do was put it back on Android 11 before sending it half way round the world back to me. It just means I will never buy NOKIA again. I also refuse to deal with any smartphone maker with repair centre's in Hungary.

Honestly print truth

Honestly print truth. Stop deceiving people with your lies. A disgrace to journalism which was there to support the people. Now it has become a puppet like all others.

Wish I'd looked here before signing up

Wish I'd looked here before signing up. Went through the purchase and download process only to find it wouldn't install on my macbook air running monterey. Got a message telling me to contact the developer, what! Not only that but I'd chosen not to add the VPN BUT they added it anyway! I had to get rid of that again before I went ahead. I'd noticed a refund button during the process but then spent 10 minutes trying to find it again. On choosing a refund, I got an email minutes later from PayPal telling me they'd refunded my money. However, they got my money instantly but I have to wait 5 days! I know this is CURRENTLY legal but really! Left a bad taste and will never have anything to do with this company again.

Review of kickstarter

Kickstarter is a fraud of a company

Kickstarter is a fraud of a company. I backed the Haxson Air Fan. Supposed to be similar the Dyson fan (bladeless) with the accompanying directional control. Also supposedly in final stages before shipping with an estimated ship date of May 2022.Now, after delay on top of delay on top of delay, the primary incentive for the purchase, which was claimed to be COMPLETELY designed and tested when I backed) is replaced with a conventional, bladed fan and there's no end in site to the excuses (and certainly not for the shipping). The project page on KickStarter still has the same images and the same description despite being significantly different in both regards (this change happened early last year).Kickstarter claims companies are not allowed to deviate significantly from prototype, but when I contacted them they informed me that since the project had reached its funding goal, the company had been paid and there was nothing kickstarter could/would do.With each "project update" (which would be more appropriately described as "project excuses for which no intention ever existed to provide the actual item backers financed") there's a ton of responses from backers demanding their money back (no one in their right mind would pay what they charged for a fan that looks like it could have been bought for about $30 at RadioShack) and Kickstarter sits back and does nothing to enforce the rules they claim to have. It's a scam, strongly warn everyone to stay away.

Definitely worth the subscription

Definitely worth the subscription. No ads, play the music you want when you want. Much better than free version but the free version is more than sufficient.

Review of Spotify

This company is an outright scam.

Recently, I have claimed a free trial of 3 months on spotify. Quite obviously, I have forgotten to cancel that subscription, and now I can’t get my money back. This is because of the scummy refund policy. For some reason, when your free trial starts, so does the 14 day refund policy. So, if you forget, you can literally not do anything about it.

Review of org

Like so many more reviews I've seen on…

Like so many more reviews I've seen on here the disappointed response from NT during these strange times. I had also written for a refund and have been offered 25% discount on next year's price (which we don't know what price it will be?) I brought a joint ticket for my partner and myself for a Christmas present. We tried to use them but the houses we wanted to visit are not open until March we then of course entered this strange times of coronavirus where we are unable to use them. How come we've had to ask for the refund? And then been offered a discount on something we've no idea when will open again? They make millions of pounds each year!Every other ticketed entrance or event I had booked has given a full refund minus a small admin charge. Why is this any different when everyone's incomes have been effected. I am disgusted with the response I have had from the NT and they have totally how greedy they really are and it may be disguised as a charity but it's a mulity million pound business who doesn't give a monkey about the people who were willing to support them. It's shameful.

Review of americanexpress

Customer service has really declined

I have been an American Express cardholder for 10 years, longer than any other card. But that recently changed.I have a High Yield Savings account and have never been treated this way by a financial institution...especially one in which I have been a loyal customer for years. They literally blocked transfers and interrogated me. I'm not sure if their security department is outsourced but it was sooo odd.I will be closing my account. My bank has the same rate and they treat me like an actual customer.

Review of coursera

I signed up for a course and paid for…

I signed up for a course and paid for the course certificate, then was offered a free trial of their Plus subscription. I took the offer, but what they really did was refunded my payment for the course certificate and charged me for Plus. I canceled my "free" trial and now I can't access my course to finish it and will have to pay the fee again to access my progress. This is blatantly a scam and dishonest.
