If I could, I wouldn’t even give this a one star. Macy’s has honestly turned from one of my most preferred shopping sites to the worst company I have ever truthfully dealt with. To have an order accepted, Macy’s cancels due to a “system error” and now Macy’s money Being a loss that was used within the order. I have called to resolve this only to spend over two hours on the phone thus far and 6 representatives that could not understand how to replace a simple order for the amount that was initially placed with due to their language barrier. When asked what the first representatives first name and initial was he responded with, “what is an initial?” Then followed up with he don’t know how to send me to a “resolution specialist” and hung up on me after an hour of a run around with him. I called back and got sent to 5 other specialists and departments due to similar reasons of language barriers on their ends only to constantly be hung up on by representatives, given dead air constantly and no check backs on hold(extremely unprofessional). When I ask for a supervisor no one understands where to send me and how to resolve an issue. I have officially given up on you Macy’s. Your customer service has gone downhill completely. I will not be back.

We shopped for a rug in person with the help of a salesperson for an area rug. We made a selection and a sales person entered our order in the Macy’s computer system. At that time we were told the rug was inventory and would ship in 7-10 days. Approximately 10 days later, we received an email saying the rug was on back order. We called Macy’s to find out when it would ship and were told that the rug was in inventory and ready to ship. Today (Jan 18), we received an email that the rug has been discontinued. We confirmed this by phone. We have shopped at Macy’s for many years but I can’t think of any reason to continue to do so.

Just know that if you create an account twitter will harass you by falsely claiming you’re “harassing people, silencing users of their beliefs and falling into the line of abusing others” well all you do is tweet regular things. I don’t have a political account or anything along those lines. My twitter account is for my boutique so I mainly share fashion related tweets, or “relevant” tweets, (example: “I never realized how much I took advantage of naps as a kid until I became an adult”) and they will suspend your account and their support system is a whole joke. Every time they suspend or lock your account it’s always for another absurd reason. Never have I ever had such problems with a social platform nor do I understand how they haven’t been shut down yet. I imagine it won’t be long.
