The Worst Customer Service

1 star is generous - if there was an option for 0, then that is what I would be opting for.We purchased a £649 coffee machine as a birthday gift. Upon opening the present, we could not even set up the coffee machine due to a fault, deeming the product unusable and faulty. We were only offered a repair, which we felt to be a little unfair as the product has never been used and is not fit for purpose. However, we had no other option, so we proceeded with the repair and were told this would take 1 week to complete. 10 days later we are still yet to have an update from the third-party repair company. We rang Philips customer service again today and were now informed the repair would take 10 working days.It has been 4 weeks since we initially raised this issue with Philips and it will be 5 weeks before we are informed of the product being repaired if they stick to their update.The worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
