I ordered 3 pairs of Clark's shoes through the DSW website. About a week later, the order was ready for in-store pickup. The email stated "1 pair ready for pickup" and "Cancelled" for the other 2 pairs. No reason given. No previous emails sent regarding cancellation of the other shoes. I called DSW for an explanation. The person was difficult to understand and clearly in a call center. They also seemed to be reading from a script. Not at all helpful. I will be returning the pair sent. Due to such poor customer service, I do not wish to give DSW my business. I have ordered the shoes from the Clark's website, which is what I should have done in the first place. An addendum: I went to the store to tell them I would not be taking the shoes sent and why--very disappointed about how the order was handled and the inadequate customer service. I spoke to the assistant manager, David. David came across as somewhat defensive, but mostly uninterested & uncaring--another example of the company's poor customer service. Upon completion of the return, I started to leave. Without looking up from the computer screen, David flippantly said, "Sorry that happened." Yup, I'm done with DSW.
