Been with Bitdefender for years because the protection levels are good but the whole service is a muddle and not user-friendly at all. Try finding subscription auto renew... took me half a day to find it so that I could cancel future payments from my bank, and then I found I'd been paying twice over for the VPN. Even when you find how to access the well-hidden auto renew options you have to click cancel at several stages before it will actually cancel. They deliberately hide the feature away and make it difficult so that people will give up on it and be forced to make payments by default. I'm an above-average computer user but for others with with less knowledge there is no way that they will be able to find this option. Therefore in my view Bitdefender is unsuitable for those with just average or below average computer skills. I will not be renewing my Bitdefender subscription purely on the grounds that Bitdefender is prejudiced against users with lower levels of computer skills by their making the use of Bitdefender so user-unfriendly and it's options and features so inaccessible and unnecessarily complicated.
