Review of justgiving

Inspirational

Just giving is a simple effective way to give to charity. It has clear instructions and makes fund raising exciting. It also inspired me to do a little more.

Beware of hidden “tip”

It’s hard enough raising money for charity but then Just Giving helps itself to a “tip” on top of that. They make it confusing for people and even if they slide the tip amount down it doesn’t go to zero. For that you have to jump through hoops and press “other amount” and manually type in zero. Many of those kind enough to donate to my fundraising have fallen foul of this trick, particularly those whose English isn’t brilliant.Just Giving should be ashamed of themselves.

Review of issuu

Issuu makes it super easy to publish

Issuu makes it super easy to publish! I have been creating digital issues on their platform since 2017 and I have to say no other platform I have tried comes close. It's possible to sell both single issues and subscriptions without any hassle, and we can do things like set which pages are visible for free, add links, and even embed videos into our digital issue. As a magazine in 2021, it's important to have a digital presence that supports our print offering, and the Issuu platform allows us to do that without having to be tech wizards or coders.

I had a case number for a credit of one month to my account. The phone call took 45 minutes. They were playing word games with me asking if I was told I was getting a refund or a credit. They refused to issue the credit for 40 of the 45 minute call, requiring me to convince them. Never did get to talk directly to the person who makes the decision. I had to tell the representative, who told them , then he would come back from a hold and tell me what they said. I felt like I was buying a car and the games they play. I would give them less than a star but it won’t let me.

First-Time User – So Impressed with the Rover App!

This was my very first time using Rover, and I was honestly nervous about leaving my pups, Mocha and Matcha. thanks to my amazing sitter (shoutout to McKenna!), I felt completely at ease. She went above and beyond—even reassuring me when I felt guilty about being away. I came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs, and now I actually look forward to future trips knowing I have someone I can trust. Rover has truly made pet parenting less stressful. Five stars all the way! Rover app made the whole experience smooth and stress-free! I loved how all communication with our sitter was done through the app—it was organized and secure. The real-time check-in and check-out alerts were a game changer. I always knew when the sitter arrived, fed them, walked them, and completed each visit. As a first-time user, I felt reassured every step of the way. The Rover app is a must-have for any pet parent looking for peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Review of paypal

The worst company ever

The worst company ever, they blocked my account for no reason and requested a documents with no clear link to provide the documents, I had to search for hours for any place to attach documents and get my money back from them, their application is so bad and not clear at all so you can't find what you want, I finally found the place where to attach documents , they just blocked 50€ inward to verify 'my location'I can't imagine why the hell is it now that important to let the users provide rent contract or otherwise you block their accounts? I provided already for 2 years my driving license and national ID and passport and bank account and everything right, but when they want to block they find any thing to use it, finally I provided my rent contract, but I wonder what about users who don't have official rent or don't have a house or they live with parents or friends or in company's house or anything like that, what about them?? Just Imagine a normal user of those people just received money on his PayPal and hello, you block the account until he rent a house and send you the rent contract!! How shit are theyI Will definitely stop using their shit after they unblock me, will withdraw all my money and shut it down for ever

If you sell something with them they'll charge you one fee for shipping then they'll deduct 4x that amount because they claim the item weight was higher. I shipped a backpack that weighed no more than 5 lbs and they claimed it weighed 23 lbs. Very unethical, not worth using. Avoid.

Review of amazon

Amazon does not give two craps how many…

Amazon does not give two craps how many horrible reviews a product gets. Whether the product works or whether it breaks within a very short time after purchase. They will just keep keeping the products up on there platform no matter what. Solution. Go to your local district court and file an unfair trade practices lawsuit for minimal amount of money . sue them and bring all the complaints / Reviews with you. Amazon is fully aware of these bad products and it is unfair for them to allow these horrible products to remain on there websites. if enough people sue them , not the product company amazon just may start taking down items that don't work or break very fast.

Review of teachable

Take your business somewhere else while you can!!

We've been using Teachable for 3 years without a hiccup. It had its limitations, but it was okay. In April, the video player started acting up, and it is not playing our videos for our students—who are paying us. In these past three months, we've been running a lot of courses and some sales campaigns, and it has seriously damaged both our quality, processes, and top-notch reputation. We have signaled the problem to Teachable, but the support is awful. It takes ages, they are not trying to solve the problem, but instead said that it seems to be an internet provider issue. It is impossible that ALL internet providers can't load Teachable's videos (and theirs only). I have asked for a refund for both the recent months and the period left from our annual subscription (we renewed our plan in April) and they say that (and I quote) "I regret to inform you that we are unable to process a refund as it is outside our policy." Well, it is outside our policy to pay for a service we are not getting. We are looking for other platforms to migrate to.They have zero real human support. They are unavailable, their replies sometimes take more than one or two weeks, they are unhelpful, and definitely not in a customer-first and problem-solving mindset. Take your business somewhere else!!

Review of redbubble

Disappointed with my product

Disappointed with my product. It said product may be slightly different. It wasn’t the same style bag as advertised. No extra zippers, which is why I chose that one. The quality isn’t as good as the one that was advertised. If it doesn’t come with zippers, it shouldn’t be advertised with zippers. I won’t be recommending this company to anyone.

Review of indeed

Indeed’s Fake Job Postings Are Putting Job Seekers at Risk

Indeed used to be a reliable job search platform, but now it’s overrun with fake job ads, and the company isn’t doing nearly enough to stop them. Scammers are posting fraudulent listings, tricking job seekers into sharing personal information, sending money for fake background checks, or falling victim to identity theft. It’s becoming a major problem, yet Indeed seems unwilling or unable to fix it.One of the biggest issues is the lack of proper employer verification. Anyone can create a job posting with little to no vetting, which allows scammers to impersonate real companies. Many of these fake jobs ask for sensitive details like bank information or Social Security numbers before even conducting an interview, clear warning signs that Indeed should be catching.Even when these scams are reported, they often remain on the platform for far too long. The “report job” feature feels like an empty gesture because nothing seems to change. Job seekers shouldn’t have to navigate a minefield of fraud when looking for legitimate work, but Indeed’s lax security measures are making it easier for scammers to operate. If Indeed truly cares about job seekers, it needs to implement stricter verification for employers, improve fraud detection, and respond more swiftly to scam reports. Until then, job hunters need to stay on high alert, because Indeed certainly isn’t doing enough to protect them.

Review of gog

GOG has been acting as a pioneer…

GOG has been acting as a pioneer company to build a worldwide gaming platform. Its clear and open sales platform has encouraged beginner gamer to step into the gaming world. More important system is its Q&A support system. FAQ can help beginners to some extent, but one to one communication is a must for beginners. Most of us are not PC technical staffs and we need a help. GOG is a legend company for worldwide gamers.
