As the previous reviewer has said, Ravelry is the most complete database of patterns and yarn there is. HOWEVER, it may be free for general users, but those of us who donated in the beginning to get the site up and running and have had a business there for years, paying commission and advertising costs, view things a bit differently. The site has not kept out hate speech at all and unfortunately it is not a good place to be any more. The mob rules and there are personal attacks against good people who just want to knit or crochet. The mob will bringing down a business owned by good, hardworking people if they think that they don't share the 'right' views. Users are being followed to other social media sites and verbally attacked. The last time I was on there, a member from Egypt was being put down by someone, very nastily I might add, for misspelling the name of the site - for goodness sake, what happened to kindness.These things should have been stopped as soon as they started, but they weren't and some were encouraged.I'm not sure that the owners can come back from this. It's a shame.

I went to close my account because I had been losing money daily for a month. It left me with $35 in my account. I went to close and withdraw and they said I need a minimum of $100 to withdraw. They told me deposit more more to meet the balance and in 5 days we will release. I said absolutely not. It gave an option to contact the support team to complete. When I went there, I was given the same thing can't withdraw. They said do you want to forfeit your money. I said no. They said we'll you need to get to the minimum balance to get it out. This is the worst experience I ever had regarding g getting my money. I dont care what it was its mine. I believe this company to be a scam. Unethical. And untrustworthy. I am moving into a different platform for crypto because this one is the worst. Save your money and go to someone else.
