When they say blackout restrictions apply what they really mean is if there is a channel in your area that you can buy through your cable TV provider then you cannot watch it on ESPN you will always be blacked out. If you are a general Sports junkie and you want to see a little tge ESPN might be worth it but if there's something specific you will be disappointed.
