Review of WordPress
Without WordPress my voice would be silenced so I am so grateful for the convenience of WP. My webmaster died suddenly in 2015 leaving my multiple static sites abandoned, and though the millennial who took over his business is super sweet, everything became so backlogged and complicated, I lost three of five sites, and had to downsize the remaining two to not need updates. Starting over without WordPress I would have walked away from my cyber communication altogether. Thank you WordPress for the easy to use affordable open source style communication. You Rock! So - Yea - We Roll with you!

I found a compelling story about a young lady with pancreatic cancer, so wanted to donate which rarely do because of personal finances. Came across a similar compelling story on Go Fund Me where donating simple and fast. Abandoned Just Giving donation as such a pain. Forced to accept cookies, page wouldn't progress then when asked to rate it, gave one star which 'converted with thanks' to four stars. Regret family in question will miss out on a donation, and how many others too. This just didn't feel right !

Super duper just a data collection scam. Asks for your SSN and even requires you use your "legal name" when you're just browsing. Always a problem if you don't go by your govt name for any reason - whether you're trans or just hate your legal name or what. Just kind of gross.

I am a pensioner and created a facebook account to interact with my family and grandsons/ daughters, and look at business's I am interested in (places to eat etc) Despite having virtually no content, posts, or other activity, my account was suspended, the appeal was upheld in a swift manor even though I posted a video of myself to prove my likeness , so I have been thrown off. Perhaps its because I have no activity ? - I am not that fast. So they have cut off an avenue of modern-day communication.

I booked for a last minute stay in a hotel that I needed to be near a particular location. I booked and paid with Apple Pay. In the morning the hotel asked me for the card used for the booking which I gave them. A few days later I noticed that my booking had been charged twice, once by booking.com and once by the hotel. On trying to get a refund for one of the charges both the hotel and booking.com have been useless. I'm now going to my bank to try and retrieve the extra charge. Crown Plaza in Hanger Lane was the hotel so bear this in mind if you book with Apple Pay through booking.com using an IHG hotel.

Made reservation 3 months ahead of stay, when I arrived the room wasn't ready. Check in was 3:00 and I finally got in my room at 4:00. Elevators were acting whacky so had to walk the stairs a couple of times. Restaurant in house was closed. I was told the system had been down all day. Shuttle would not transport me 2.5 miles to event I was in town for but they did jack the room rates up by $200.00 because of the event. Returned to the hotel at 12:00 am after the event and there was still a long line at check in with only 1 clerk so we couldn't purchase snacks or drinks without waiting in line again. Contacted customer service and they apologized and told me they would give me 5300 points, worthless. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.
