Costumer service did not help solving issue with VAT return despite several requests. Just referred to the seller who used their platform, and he refused to do anthing despite being a simple costumer service request. None of them took responsibility for simple costumer service. Not using bol.com again.
Review of thomann
Thomman gets 1 star from be for using the horrible UPS delivery service. If they cared about their costumers, it would change to DHL inmediately. UPS is the worst, horrible user experience, broken website, no accountability. Not serious from part of Thomann to work with them.

Asus laptop was less than a year old & still under warranty, however even after only light use, a few of the keys were abraded & worn. Checked the warranty & it was covered for a fix, contacted customer services with pictures to double check & yes, they said it would be covered so went through the process of sending it away through the warranty and RMA service. After their 'diagnostic' they then told me it was customer damage and so wouldn't be covered & I would still have to pay to get it returned. My laptop is great otherwise & it doesn't stop me from using it, but I'm just glad it didn't have any more serious defects as I'm sure they would find a way to get out of paying for the repair, so definitely wouldn't buy from them again.

Review of vrbo
Terrible experience. We booked our accommodation months in advance and phoned the host a week before to check everything was OK and we were told just to turn up. When we arrived and called them, they claimed to have never received our booking. Vrbo did nothing meaningful to help us find alternative accommodation locally - other than send us some links to accommodation that was already booked.

I'm really surprised to see all the comments here about great and fast support - I can't get anyone to respond to me at all. We only paid our subscription last week and are considering cancelling it due to the fact it is impossible to contact anyone for support. In response to Trustpilot response: Nope - I had 2 different enquiries and someone only contacted me about 1 of them, which is not resolved. The other one nobody has contacted me at all. And that is the most important one!
Review of homeadvisor
Home Advisor LIED when I asked them to research a certain pro to see if anyone had filed a complaint against him, causing me to realize that I CANNOT TRUST anything they say about the pros. It is in Home Advisor's interest to say good things about the pros (even if they aren't true) because they get paid by the pro and not by the customer! Here is how I know they lied: I had to fire a Home Advisor pro about two months ago because he disappeared after he got my $6000 deposit. He didn't answer my texts, phone calls, or emails after getting my money. I filed a complaint with Home Advisor about this guy, and after a few weeks of THEM not getting a response from him, either, they assured me that the pro was "suspended" and could no longer get clients through them. Earlier today, to CHECK UP ON HOME ADVISOR, to see if they reinstated the guy I fired, I called them and asked if they had any complaints about the guy. They said, "Nope. No complaints." I didn't tell them that I had filed a complaint that they should have clearly seen on the guy's record. So, basically, I caught them "filtering" the info that they released about the pro. TAKEHOME MESSAGE: these home improvement companies won't necessarily tell you the TRUTH about their pros (whether there have been complaints), and it's likely because they don't want to bite the hands that feed them. The Pros pay to get the job, and they want the Pros (even the bad ones, apparently), to keep paying them. Your best bet is to NOT fully trust those reviews. Look at MULTIPLE sources (Google, Yelp, etc.). All of those sites are biased and MONEY (whether the pro PAYS those sites) will also be a factor. On the bright side, Angi and Home Advisor merged, and I paid the unreliable guy through the Angi app, so I was able to get my money back from Angi (Angi paid me back then invoiced the pro to get their money from him). Angi may have gotten some bad reviews from others for their customer service, but they saved my butt from losing $6k due to their "Happiness Guarantee."

I really waited for this dress. I’d seen it online years ago. Plain had it still recently for less money but someone must have bought. It had been at their Outlet for years and years. I was lucky to find it at Farfetch for what is probably the last one. It’s an even more expensive dress than I thought it would be.
