Terrible Shipping Partner / Terrible Service

Terrible shipping -- incorrect delivery status. Reaching out to both AbeBooks and OSM Worldwide did no good. Was told they would reship (due to postal destruction of label) and would not charge me. REALLY?? No new tracking info and nothing more. I will be requesting a refund but it says I have to wait 30 days to do that. TERRIBLE SERVICE, BUSINESS PRACTICES, AND SHIPPING PARTNER. I will not do business with AbeBooks again, nor do I recommend anyone else to.

Ethically Reprehensible Company

Rented a house outside Tacoma for 3 days, and upon check-in we found a ton of issues with the property (misrepresented property condition and furniture, water damage to the flooring, grass was 3.5 feet tall, no trash can liners available) along with several unsanitary conditions (urine and feces still in the toilet, sheets unwashed and stinky with pubic hair on them, and no laundry detergent to clean them, full garbage bags piled high in the garage, etc.) VRBO and the property host were contacted several times and were only willing to refund 1/3 of the cleaning fee ($50) and essentially stole the remainder of the balance (nearly $600). We were forced to leave 3 hours after we got there due to the extreme health hazard and make other accommodations. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

MSN commentary censorship is a threat to freedom of speech

MSN has the most aggressive, unresponsive and incomprehensible filters on its article commentaries.It is almost always unfathomable as to why it objects to a comment and this occurs very frequently.One can only conclude totally biased editorship which itself should be banned.MSN censorship is a major threat to sensible freedom of speech.

One of the singularly worst experiences…

One of the singularly worst experiences of attempting to get product support/repair for a five year old fridge-freezer. Started a web-chat with a bot that then passed me to an actual person and over an hour later was still left confused as to when I could expect a technician, whether LG were genuinely planning to 'collect and remove' the unit rather than fix it in situ, and, fed up with repeatedly being asked for information which I had already shared in the web-chat and while creating an LG account —felt like the divided attention of the agent was either stalling me for time or just too lazy to do the work on behalf of their customer. Between this experience and that of an LG TV in which a sub module failed just out of warranty they have lost a customer for life —however 'good' that life is supposed to be with them. LG, PLEASE don't append some pithy BS low-rent message after this for the sake of appearances, if you really want to fix the brand damage get in touch with me directly.

99 Designs is lying to clients about kicking off Russian designers to save their own reputation.

I've used 99 Designs a few times for book covers in the past. I was just finishing up a silver level design contest ($500+) that I had been very happy with. The designer was a Russian woman who made several specific revisions according to the detailed feedback I gave her until it was complete. As I asked for one final revision to reposition one of the elements on the design, I got no response from her.A representative of 99 Designs called me on my phone to tell me that my designer had withdrawn from the project and informed them she would be unable to do any further work on it. I was quite surprised by this news because she had been so responsive before. I immediately thought there must be a family emergency, or maybe I had offended her by asking for too many revisions. Then I remembered that she was Russian and asked if Russia's invasion of Ukraine might have anything to do with it, since I know many online services are ceasing their work with Russians. The 99 Designs representative assured me again that she had simply told them that she not be available to do any further work. They assigned another designer to make the final revision, which ended up turning into a lengthy affair of misscommunications because the new designer did not understand what work had already been done and what I was asking for. What should have taken five minutes turned into several days and wasted a lot of my time.Imagine my surprise when the original Russian designer emailed me to tell me that she had been locked out of her 99 Designs account because she was Russian, and that was why she unable to respond to my final revision request. I told her what the representative had told me, and she assured me it was all lies by 99 Designs. They were willing to defame this woman's reputation to save their own. She had actually gone out of her way to contact me privately just to make sure I was happ with her work.If 99 Designs doesn't want to work with Russians, that's their prerogative. But to lie about this policy and blame your designers for your actions is cowardly, unethical, and unprofessional. I will never work with such a dishonest company again, and I urge designers to consider what they have demontrated they are willing to lie about both to you and your clients on their platform. For shame, 99 Designs.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD

I rarely leave bad reviews but I can honestly say in my life I have NEVER experienced such poor service from this Company. I will admit the make up is great and I would love to continue using it but after my experience no way. A month ago I ordered 2 colours of the soft glow compact refill as I wasn't exactly sure of my colour, I pressed ONE TIME ORDER - I didn't want to subscribe to start with, I had also received an email saying use this code for a free gift which I did. As soon as I placed my order, I was literally bombarded with endless automatic emails saying thanks for subscribing your next order will arrive 20th August, I immediately contacted them saying I didn't want to subscribe hence pressing ONE TIME ONLY order. At that stage I didn't receive a response within days I received the order, NO FREE GIFT, one compact had 12 months shelf life the other had 5 WEEKS!!!!! Some weeks I work from home so I don't wear make up I couldn't possibly use the make up in 5 weeks and it was obviously stock they wanted to get rid of. With emails back and forth and them asking me what do you want us to do? I said the FREE GIFT didn't arrive I don't care however I was extremely upset that a make up arrived with 5 weeks shelf life. After many many emails back and forth they said they would send another of the compact with limited shelf life. I thought great we have a result I thanked them very much BUT tonight I have had a delivery and YES ANOTHER COMPACT FROM THE SAME BATCH NOW WITH 3 WEEKS SHELF LIFE. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. As I mentioned the make up is great but good luck to anyone who orders from this company. One Star!
