Review of justgiving
Agree with everything so many people have said here about Just Giving – they con people into giving them a hefty "tip" on the sly. By taking an extra slice of everything people donate through their site every day they are no doubt richer than all the charities they were set up to support!

I had an item damaged in transit by the USPS driver and my sale is not being protected because I didn’t use bubble wrap?? And a bunch of other stupid rules. On a pair of pants? I have never received clothing in bubble wrap. Nor was this “policy” at all accessible on their app when I made the sale. It’s a way for them to take your money because there’s no way you’d meet all of their list of shipping requirements. Absolute scam artists. I’m reporting them for their shady practices.

I booked a flight from San Francisco to Paris. Okay from KAYAK, okay from the bank, but no confirmation and nothing registered on my bank account. I was in a hurry, so after a while, as nothing appeared, I booked again. Again no confirmation. Much later, I discovered two identical bookings, and had to pay $50 to cancel one of them. Kayak admitted a technical hitch, which had obliged them to confirm manually much later. I got pages of text saying how sorry they were for me, but I did not get my $50 back, in spite of the fact that there was a technical problem, and that there was no protection against multiple identical booking.

Thieves and liars. After cancelling my subscription and any kind of auto-renewals, that "company" still tried to withdraw funds from my account (thankfully, my bank blocked the withdrawal tagging it as suspicious), even after REMOVING any payment information from their system/my billing info (or so it seemed). Confronted, they just kept outright lying, claiming my subscriptions was still active, that I didn't cancel auto-renew, etc. After a couple more attempts to access my bank account, they finally gave up, but not before sending one more email from their support claiming they "fixed" the issue and removed auto-renewal for me. What a joke. Beware unless you want to part with your money!

It is a good site for both buying and selling. However when buying they have their own ratings system for sellers much like Ebay where buyers leave feedback for sellers and vice versa. You should ALWAYS read the seller's feedback (good, bad and neutral) ratings to help make your of buying. Much as you would do on sites such as Ebay or Trustpilot. The same goes for sellers - if a buyer has a bad rating then it would maybe be advisable to avoid them too. Some of these reviews are a bit harsh and unwarranted. If people don't leave accurate and honest feedback then it won't work. BUT don't just focus on the positive- have a read of the user's Negative and Neutral feedback content. Genuine mistakes do happen and you do get rude/ difficult sellers and buyers. BUT if there are several recent Negatives and Neutrals which show a common pattern of behaviour - do yourself a favour and avoid dealing with that user.

Terrible interface. The old interface was much more comfortable to use. It's hilarious because it took me a very long time to figure out the most basic functions, like how to look up the artist accounts that I follow. And even after figuring out, it's such a hassle to go through the process again. Just like so many of the other functions in DA. Not gonna go through all of the problems because if I do, this review would be literally three times longer than it currently is. I wish I'm exaggerating, but I'm not.The only upside is that the recommendations list seem to have improved from before. The stuff I'm being recommended are more relevant to my interest (thank you for getting rid of the inflation and furry stuff, and the porn, among all the other weird stuff). Still, this alone isn't enough of a redeeming factor for how annoying it is to use this site.I would not recommend this site to anyone. Not like it matters. Many of the brilliant artists I follow have left and are now focusing their efforts on Twitter and Pixiv. So pretty much, if you're a user who still has artists to follow on DeviantArt, there's still reason for you to stick around. But if you're someone who has never used this site before, I'd suggest for you to use Twitter / Pixiv instead for a much better experience. They're just so much better at this point. Also, for new users, you'll likely fall prey to the hoards of art thieves present on this site (an issue which still hasn't been resolved after so many years because of the GREAT ADMINISTRATION TEAM. But rolling out a terrible interface update isn't too much trouble, right?)

They have recently changed how the digital edition works - the epaper. It has LOST functionality. You can no longer download copies on android tablets or phones, to read offline e.g. when travelling. You can only view the last 6 days - when you are online. Also, now when you enlarge a section to read it more easily it flicks back to original size as soon as you move your fingers away. Why they would change systems to give LESS helpful functionality is baffling and deeply annoying.

Review of doordash
Doordash took out $129 from my account in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I woke up at 1am to find an absurd amount of money had been taken from my account for "McDonald's doordash " early in the week, leaving me in negative funds. I live on my own, trying to treat myself with a few deliveries, but there is no way I ordered $129 worth of food from McDonald's at 1am for one person. After finally getting in touch with someone on the phone (email is useless they take so long to reply and then just ask you to repeat yourself) she said "oh yeah this has happened before" google pay glitch apparently. The woman on the phone told me i had infact been charged for only a select amount of all of my doordash orders in one go.So I call the bank, waited almost an entire week being over a hundred dollars out of pocket as someone who already lives paycheck to paycheck and struggles to make ends meet sometimes(as we all do). As a result of this I was in great financial distress for almost an ENTIRE WEEK...( I guess once you get rich you forget how budgeting works :( poor doordash ceo) The processing time on this payment took so long I have only just gotten my money back.So while I did end up getting my funds replaced, I just want to say how messed up it is that a big corporation can just take someone's money (which they don't have), hold you in financial distress, just for a little rich man's game of bank "maintenance"(?? Literally what the guy from my bank said). I have used door dash plenty of times in the past, have known people to use it regularly, and nothing like this has ever happened before. To conclude, doordash takes advantage of its customers and provides little customer support.Safe to say, I deleted door dash, awful customer experience, never again :)
