I went into the store and traded a snare drum 6.5x14 1.2mm thick bronze shell and only got 215$ and had to request a manager to even get 10% off of the used 22 in meinl byzance vintage crash i needed after my older same cymbal cracked and needed replaced before a show just a week & a half out. I looked at my receipt and was charged for shipping to the store which i ran back in and the manager said he’d refund when i come back in to pick up the cymbal. A day and a half later i get an email saying that my orders been cancelled, so that whole deal was shot to hell w no explanation. So i call the number GC in that email and the rep says “i hate it when the store does this” and proceeds to tell me theres no stock and he wasnt helpful for a damn thing so i ended the call. The next day i was gonna go by the store and spend another hour trying to settle something out because i coulda sold my snare for a lot more than 215$ in GC credit but was running late for work and low on time. Later on in my shift when things quietened down i called back in and reached a well spoken professional efficient gentleman named Noah Werner. Noah apologized and explained everything in detail and totally owned issue. Said he'd send me an email and follow up w me tomorrow and i received his email immediately while we were still on the line. I know how corporations are today and the average employee representing them and i didnt expect although maybe a little because it was NOAH WERNER(!). Not only do i hear back from him via email, voice mail, missed calls from NOAH WERNER, but he keeps on until work settles and i answer the call and NOAH tells me “well i got your store credit dialed in where we can utilize it for you, tell me about your snare trade in again?” I do. He then tells me hes got me a new, not used 22 inch Meinl Byzance Vintage Crash and hes gonna give me 20% off as a one time customer loyalty courtesy because of my situation and all the business ive done w GC and makes this deal even better than before and too good not to take. He didnt sell GC out and he didnt make me feel unvalued, notice: he makes the BEST DECISION FOR ME AND GUITAR CENTER. THE BEST! Not only all this but he gives free shipping to my home and reads back every detail to me and i get the confirmation email w everything absolutely correct then proceeds to tell me to keep his direct # and contact him for anything of concern in the future! NOAH WERNER NEEDS TO BE A MANAGER IF HE ISNT ALREADY if he is then he needs to be the district manager and this young gentleman needs a raise cause he saved your ass (excuse my French please) and he knows what hes doing, does it right and owns and seals and delivers. He will be the best ive ever delt with past present and no doubt future. Thank you so much my friend. I for one APPRECIATE YOUR HARD WORK AND COMMEND YOU ON BEING THE BEST AT WHAT U DO. I would prefer to give no stars!! They give you the total run around. Called in to talk to geek squad about a download for a Samsung tv. Geek squad transferred me to tv’s, tv’s transferred me to geek, geek transferred me to tv and tv transferred me back to geek. Gave up and ran into the store. A geek said sure, they could do it and it would take about 20 minutes and it would be $40 so we made an appt. Took tv in and geek kept running to the back to talk to someone else. Finally said they don’t have a computer to do the download they would have to send the tv to a service center!! She had no clue what she was doing and the geek in the back never came out! WORTHLESS!!! Never will go to bestbuy again!! Had an account, but we are done!!

Extremely Disappointed with HP Products and the Best Buy/CitiBank PartnershipI’ve had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Best Buy and CitiBank, particularly involving the purchase of two HP laptops—both of which turned out to be defective. These were not minor issues either; they were complete lemons that caused endless inconvenience and wasted time.To make matters worse, the financial handling by CitiBank and Best Buy has been nothing short of infuriating. After proactively contacting them to clarify my payment obligations, I was told one thing during our call—that they would handle the decision-making regarding the account. Later, they completely reversed their stance and claimed that the responsibility was mine, even though I had already followed up and complied with their stated instructions.Despite doing everything in good faith, my balance was inexplicably inflated. There was no transparency in how the charges were applied or ballooned. The miscommunication—or worse, misrepresentation—between customer service departments has left me dealing with undue financial pressure and a sense of being completely ignored as a loyal customer.This experience has made me seriously question not only the quality of HP products sold through Best Buy but also the integrity of the financial services provided by CitiBank in conjunction with Best Buy’s store card. I would caution others to carefully consider who they do business with, and to document every step when dealing with these companies.

Long story short, I received a couple thousand from a former friend. They disputed those payments to me, Venmo ruled in my favor the next day and said the case was closed. Four days later, my account is in a negative balance and suspended because they said the friend filed a bank chargeback. So despite their investigation team ruling in my favor and saying it was authorized transactions, I now owe them thousands of dollars and can’t use the app anymore. They don’t keep their word and they will force you to pay fraudulent claims and chargebacks.

Their prices are pretty high but they do offer some nice items. However, customer service, shipping and communication is pretty poor. To clarify I am in AUS which means I used the Australian UO, the products are still shipped from the US which is the problem. They use pretty average courier services and the partner in Australia hands it over to one of the nation's WORST courier services (couriers please). They lost the parcel so now I have the joy of trying to get a refund from UO when there isn't any reliable form of contacting the AUS team other than a ticket query system that they seem to ignore. I've seen two inquires about my parcel one for the status and one to inform them that the parcel has been lost.
