Review of bestwestern
I just returned from a two day get away and spent two nights at a Best Western in Olympia, WA I am very dissatisfied and will not stay at another BW ever again. This one is two stories but there is no elevator. So if you don't want to carry your luggage up the stairs ask for a first floor room. I chose a first floor room and my fear came true because I can hear people above me trotting around in their room. You can hear conversations in the hallway. My first day I was not in a big rush so I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and took my time getting ready. I took away the DND sign when I went out. When I returned that afternoon I found my room in total disarray. They did not clean my room. I was told my room was not cleaned because there was a DND sign hanging on the door. So I guess I stayed in my room too long and when they finished cleaning the other rooms housekeeping left, so the lesson is don't stay in your room too long in the morning or they won't clean it. That is so crazy. Probably BW contracts for housecleaning services and the crew does one hotel and then they're off to the next one. That is only one of the things that annoyed me. The refrigerator in the room is barely functioning. I put my water bottle in the little freezer overnight and it didn't freeze it was just chilled. I hope they check the refrigerator before the next person checks in. I left some watermelon chunks and a piece of pie in there. The furniture is old and needs updating. There is no USB port for charging your devices. Fortunately I was proactive and brought my own charger. My second night there I was awakened at 3:15am by two men talking loud outside my door. I heard everything they said because the walls are so thin. The bathroom is very small and the sink is outside because there's no room for it in the bathroom. You can see the plumbing underneath because they didn't even install a cabinet to keep the pipes out of sight. The free breakfast is kind of a joke. I only went there one morning because it closes promptly at 9:30 so get there early. There's some scrambled eggs and sausage, hash browns. There's a variety of fruit juice, not fresh of course. The coffee is what you would get in a cheap motel. Then there's bread, not even toast, just bread. I am so happy I only spent two nights there and I do not recommend Best Western.

Review of otto
I bought a product from Otto last year and chose the option to pay through installment. Even tough I am very happy with the product, my customer experience was really bad. The bill for the installment never arrived through mail and after a couple of months I had a bill saying I had to pay the total amount at once plus fees. After contacting the customer service I got connected with the financial section. I now understand why they are not working in the customer service, besides their obvious skills in finance: the huge lack of social skills. The worker at the phone was quiet rude, indifferent and did not even believe I never got the bills through mail, but assumed I just did not want to pay. Again: total lack of social skills and understanding. To be clear: I did not want to make a point or anything, but rather just get the bill send to me to pay the installments. Could I have reached out earlier? Yes. But they also could have reached out to me through different ways.I definitely take some responsibility regarding that. After a little discussion, I got her to send me the first payment through E-Mail, and the whole bill through post mail, again. Throughout the whole call it was not mentioned that I still had to pay the fees at all. Might be legally questionable...To top it all of, her reference in the mail was: you`re welcome. For what exactly? Thank you for not getting it done to deliver the bill, the extra fees on top of it and the indifferent approach on the phone. As I said before: the product on the other hand is really good!

Review of agoda
Disappointing and Manipulative ExperienceI downloaded the Agoda app to book a hotel, but the experience turned out to be quite unsettling. I initially found a hotel I liked for €306, but within just an hour, the price changed twice — first to €315, then to €320 — just while I was browsing other options closer to the city center. It felt like a classic example of pushy, salesy tactics designed to pressure users into booking quickly. These kinds of psychological tricks are not only frustrating but also erode trust. It’s disappointing to see how platforms today prioritize "maximizing profits" over transparency and customer ethics. I won't be using Agoda again.

Review of tripadvisor
Prices advertised on Tripadvisor do not match with real prices. For example I saw a room advertised at €59 on Tripadvisor, and when I click "View Deal" I am redirected to the hotel webpage where the price is €65. @Tripadvisor, please check your APIs, this is not good practice, quite annoying and legally borderline. I can provide screenshot if needed.

Review of hp
OMG - worst customer service Ive received ever. Bought a DeskJet 2820e in one printer from John Lewis and have spent more than 2 hours on phone with HP and my ISP trying to set it up - culminating in a whatsapp message telling me to go back to John Lewis for a refund (JL perfectly fine) Unfortunately I still have a final month on an instant ink account that I have to pay. I'll never use this company again.
