Review of discourse
They offer a free plan for content creators on YouTube, but when you apply, they refuse and push you to buy their paid plan:YouTube is eligible for "Free Discourse Communities For Creators" based on their own webpage called "Free Discourse Communities For Creators", section: "Eligibility Criteria".But they reply with this:"Thanks for applying, but I’m afraid your project does not qualify for our free hosting program, which is limited to active Open Source Software projects and Crowdfunded or Creator projects."They are clearly playing a game here and trick content creators to pay.

Review of Instagram
My Instagram account @06.kaanbb has been stuck in a security loop for 5 days.I completed all verifications (CAPTCHA, SMS code, password resets) multiple times – nothing works.I still get “Couldn’t refresh feed” in the app, and the browser keeps forcing password resets.I even received a message saying “To protect our community, we limit certain actions.”The “Report a Problem” button appears but doesn’t open a text box. It’s broken.I emailed support at submitted reports from other accounts, and waited patiently. No response. This is beyond frustrating — I have important messages stuck in my DMs and no way to access them.Instagram’s system is broken and support is non-existent.Fix your platform or stop pretending to care about users.
Review of X (Twitter)
I seem to be the only one who thinks X has actually gotten a bit better since Musk's takeover. I'm allowed to say what I want without some sort of bias toward my identity. Comments promoting hate speech are understandably hidden with a warning, but whether you're a left-winger, right-winger, or simply in it for the chaos, anyone is allowed to post what they think which is what social media should be about. X somewhat reminds me of what YouTube used to be back in the day and comedically overdramatic hate comments used to be my source of entertainment.I also like that anyone has an opportunity to get feedback. I barely had an opportunity to get any activity on my work with Instagram, with problems of shadowbanning and posts not getting anywhere unless they're paid or you're already popular. Since I've posted on X, it's a lot easier to get followers and a sense of community of people who are into the same things as you.Unfortunately, the site still has a problem with bots, as well as rulebreaking revolving around deceiving promos. I've unfollowed quite a few meme accounts that I used to find entertaining simply because I've become annoyed with the paid OnlyFans posts and I think that there should be more of a crackdown with it, especially with minors using the website. There is also a problem with Map and Zoo accounts. There is clearly a shortage of people responsible for banning and removing people in violation of these guidelines and there needs to be more staff. Otherwise I am liking what X is becoming and I'm hoping that it does get better instead of becoming overly corporate like a lot of social media has become. Say what you want about Musk, but I'd take his social media over Zuck's any day.
