Charged for a journey I didn’t book! I entered the pickup location (hospital) but the pickup location shown on the map was some way away. Didn’t book but was charged a cancellation fee. Have now deleted the Uber app.

Times subscription teams - read the reviws and act

Agree with other comments given here. I gave it a whirl, and then asked to switch to weekend print copies. It never happened. Despite being charged. And then just too much hassle to get the money back, so i gave up!Subscription cancelled with email confirmation at the end of Sept. Then today, discovered that the money has again been taken! Beyond inefficient.

No not subscribe to free trial with The Times Online

!! AVOID!! As others have experienced.. I have been conned, charged incorrectly. this is fact. I took the "free" trial for one article. I didn't sign in again, correctly cancelled over the phone. Then was repeatedly charged - I only found out after 6 months! You would think I would have known, but as it was via Paypal, the same amount as another outgoing, I didn't notice. Until I realised 6 x £26 - £156 that I will never see again because they refuse to accept I cancelled, promised a manager would return my call. I had nothing in writing to prove I cancelled. They refuse to acknowledge my emails, I want help with this, anyone have any suggestions? Avoid so called free trials, that you cant get out of!

No receipts or confirmation of orders, thorough scamming activities

This appears to be a shocking money-grabbing dishonourable and altogether dishonest company. Stuff fails to arrive, although paid for; the stuff that does arrive is not as described and they fail to respond to emails of complaints. They seem to be associated with scamming sites such as stylishoes, sadly.

Scribd is untrustworthy! With no support.

This site advertised one price and then charged my PayPal account nearly $2 more. They never sent notification of my free trial period about to end. When I tried to login to end my subscription — I could not get in. Scribd support never replies to emails for support. When they billed my PayPal account, I was furious. I started a dispute with the charge at PayPal. PayPal denied my dispute after whatever Scribd told them. Scribd never answered any of many emails about this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Thankfully, I was able to end my subscription via PayPal. You have been warned.Scribd still refuses to help me even claiming here that they are doing such. The specialist supposedly helping me -- essentially means "We won't refund you." Sad outcome.Holy crapola! PayPal just accepted my dispute reasonings with the Scribd.com issue and refunded the bogus charges. Hurrah! 😎👍Best choice is to never use your credit card if you do use Scribd. They’re notorious for charging folks a monthly fee even after people cancel their subscription. Best to use PayPal to use their services if you must. That way you at least have a chance to escape Scribd’s behavior with your finances.Google up “Scribd customer reviews” and you will see exactly what I am talking about.

Review of freshbooks

Only use the software for time tracking and estimated billing

--user friendly, great interface, do not outsource customer service
--need more time tracking reports, for example it just seems crazy that you cannot run a report by client for either hours tracked or estimated billing. I talked to customer service about it but their recommendation was cumbersome and not something I could export efficiently
--Exporting to excel does not export subtotals/totals on reports like "Timesheet Details" or any formatting. When I export from Intuit Payroll to Excel, for example, I get a nicely formatted spreadsheet I can pass on directly. Freshbooks only exports data and not even all of the data so it takes a long time to turn it into something usable.
--printing reports directly from Freshbooks cuts them off on the bottom and is not the best use of space in general. They could be re-designed to be more efficient and the margins need to be fixed.
--It is far more expensive and than the old QB time tracking software and there are not as many options (for time tracking), but QB stopped offering their time tracking service

I Signed up for free trial cancel at anytime super duolingo. But found it really was a pain with the ads still popping up every couple of mins. Then discovered the Spanish isnt actually castillia Spanish its South American Spanish. So a week before the trial was to end tried to cancel 😞 that was not easy. After a few days of trying to cancel I only managed to unsubscribe but having done that and read about people still having payments taken I want to delete my bank details. Now that is more difficult. Customer service told me the bank card can only be removed when the account is not active however once it's non active you can't get access to it to delete details My trial ends tonight. I've looked at reviews many stating that duolingo are taking money without consent from closed and unsubscibed accounts. Therefore (with advice from a lawyer) I've messaged duolingo numerous times in the last few days taking great care to document and save all correspondence. I've made it absolutly clear that I want my bank details and all my personal details removed from the account and their system. I will take legal action if they take any unauthorised money . And if the details are not removed in the next 24 hours.

SnapChat huge risk to minors! Please don’t let them use it.

Please don’t use SnapChat! Zero parental controls/oversight for minors. The app security is trash. Support does not exist. If your minor gets hacked (which is easy as their two factor authentication is shallow) and the hacker changes the email address - SnapChat cannot delete the account or suspend it because they no longer consider the admin history of your account as valid. They will not communicate with the parent and will not accept a delete request from the user or the parent. The hacker then owns your child’s account from that point forward and there is no deletion possible as they don’t have the ability to look at admin history or cross validate anything with a parent account. Your parental oversight of a minor has no validity and there is no way for a minor to preset authority to a parent in case of ANY concern. You are opening up your child to anything from porn to hackers and they do not give parents of a minor an ounce of authority or content control in the name of preserving “privacy” of the minor. Other apps allow this - but you have to ask why SnapChat does not? Because it would hurt bottom line? We trust our child - but providing them with access to SnapChat was a mistake. Don’t do it.

Horrible experience - would not reccomend

This wasn't a great experience. A few years ago, I purchased a Lenovo Smart Bulb, and during first setup was initially amazing, and worked flawlessly. However, as we got a new WIFI network, I began to experience problems.I tried to change the network through the app, however it didn't work as the old WIFI didn't exist, and so I had to factory reset the lightbulb. When I tried to set it up again, it didn't pair with the lightbulb, even after I tried multiple times. I didn't have enough time to deal with it, so I came back to it later.When I came back, it worked after a few tries, but it would never properly connect to the network and I would always encounter problems, with turning it on and off with my smart home, or just changing the colour.Now, I've been constantly unable to control it through the app or smart home, I can't login to the app, or control it, and for some reason it changed to the colour blue and I though that was it, so I changed it to a regular light bulb, and will not be going back.Very disappointed, Lenovo.

Horrible support

Two desktop PCs have been 100% reliable and certainly delivered excellent service over the years. Because those two computers turned out to be such excellent purchases, I now have a P11 tablet which has an amazing picture quality, is lightweight, and easy to use. I'm sure this tablet will be in my hand quite a bit any time I'm working or traveling IF I can ever get it working properly.Sadly, it does not read the micro-SD card I purchased properly so I need to return this device for a unit that WILL interact with the memory card. Diagnosing the issue, getting the cooperation of Lenovo to make good on the warranty of a product purchased less than a month ago, and actually receiving the replacement tablet has taken over FOUR HOURS on the phone and in chats, more than a dozen phone calls, and endless frustration in having to repeat information over and over to individuals in wrong departments or who put me on permanent hold (eventually disconnected).If whatever you purchase works well - I'll bet you are happy, but if anything needs to be addressed ... well, not so good.
