It is a disgrace they use Solo Appliance. Appt for 10-12. No show. Call 12:15 ask for update. Will call back 5 mins. Appt is 1-3. No, as written on the app and confirmed by phone it is 10-12. Oh, will call back. Yes, their mistake. Can come approx 2 to fix my DISHWASHER. No, it is dryer repair I explain. 2ish tech shows up to fix my dishwasher. Again, it is a dryer. Speaks virtually no English. Eastern European as near I can tell. Have explained with appt. Samsung dryer, code d90. Flow restriction. Vent to roof cleaned 3 months ago, handyman checks vent to garage. All clear, probably sensor. I explain all this when make appt. Try to explain to non English tech. Nope, no understand. Get office on phone. Rapid foreign language. He understands. Begins tearing dryer apart. He needs vacumn- provide for him. He cleans sm amt lint from edge of dryer. He removes drum. Small amt also vacumned. Takes sensor. Tries to explain to me needs hot water to test. Get office on line again to translate. He measures temp of sensor, runs hot water over again. Sensor is good. Maybe dust on sensor? I do not know. I do mnot repair dryers. Call to office again. Assembles dryer. Bill is $259 and cents. Most of time is spent translating. Less than 1 hour. Tries to get.me to sign job is satisfactorily done. I refuse. How do I know if dryer works? He leaves. Wash 1 load. Code reappears. Dryer stops. Will not dry clothes. Same exact problem. I call cc company.to begin dispute. Have conflict mgmt team phone number to begin.as soon as payment posts. Another wasted day tomorrow is forecast. I send msg to Solo Appliance. Problem not resolved. Will have mgr call in am. I have wasted entire day on this. From 10am to 7:04 pm now. Negative review on Next Door posted for Solo Appliance and Thumbtack. Next up is Yelp and anywhere else I can find to post negative review on Solo Appliance and Thumbtack. This is disgraceful. RUN from Solo Appliance and Thumbtack

They went from a tool you could use very affordably to penny-pinching every little feature. It's crazy how slimey they are, making you spend hundreds of dollars a month for arbitrary limits (eg. having tiny response limits and charging you a boatload to get more).I get they want to start monetizing, but this does more damage than good in terms of bringing in customers. I will be looking elsewhere for the exact same functionality that is much cheaper. Thanks

Disappointing, with the world of hotel stay rebooting, Hilton had an opportunity to step up customer training and levels of service. As a Diamond member (lots of work travel before I retired) I booked my first stay in over a year and Hilton Manchester Deansgate, many staff not wearing masks (I know this is not mandatory but some of us continue to want that safety). Of the 3 lifts only one was working, impossible to socially distance (response from hotel - our lift contract does not cover the weekends). Being Diamond was upgraded before the stay on the app and checked into a upgraded room, at checkin the hotel downgraded the room as “we had a chance to sell the higher grade room” makes great business sense, but expectation setting is not good. Room was ok, clean, but this hotel is getting a little tired and the staff need a bit more training. The hotel is very very busy is not an excuse for showing stress to the guests. Great location, OK rooms at the lower level (small beds), looking a little tired and Hilton Deansgate needs to decide how they are going to make guests feel safe in a world where the pandemic is not yet finished. Cleaning rooms is great, but if you are on a high floor and only one lift, with some of the staff not wearing masks. My confidence is not high and I have cancelled my other bookings at this hotel.

An utterly appalling website that is incredibly biased even if they have been given facts on untruthful reviews that have been posted. They respond with the same twaddle and don't even bother to establish any other facts they just post the following:`Thank you for flagging the post titled “AVOID” for additional review. We take our Community Guidelines very seriously. A manager has reviewed the post you flagged and decided it does meet our guidelines. Therefore, the post will remain on the site.' I believe it to be an American based company who just take job vacancies posted from other web sites such as Indeed, Reed, CV Library, etc. This amateur bunch should be banned.

I wrote honest reviews and all of them were deleted because of their "fraudulent" character and I received an official warning. Later, it took me ages to deactivate the account. This website is either en extremely poorely run piece of online junk, a scam, or both. Steer clear.

Useless. I went into store in Manchester Trafford Centre to collect my order. Waited ages, finally got my order but as I was leaving the store I saw the item I had just collected at a lower price. I took my item back and explained the price was lower so wanted to bring my item back for a refund and then purchase the lower priced item. The girl behind the till did not understand so spoke to a colleague who said it was fine. The exchange was done but there was no receipt to confirm my refund. I asked about this and was told it’s all online, you will receive an email. I walked away and went and found another worker and asked how I know I’ve been refunded. She did not know and agreed it made no sense. She said I would receive an email and if not no biggie I could just come back into the store. I have not received an email or a refund. I have never ever been into any store where the staff do not have a clue, give wrong information, do not do your refund correctly or do not receive your money back. I will now have to spend more time explaining this again on the phone as I do not live near the store.

Ordered a tablet then about 10 minutes after making the order called to cancel as I decided on a higher end model from Lenovo. Spoke with customer service and was told they would cancel the unwanted tablet. Imagine my surprise when the next day I got a dispatched email. Called them back and they said they would request a return. The tablet made it all the way to my city, held and shipped to a different address from origin. Called them to ask and was told this was a Lenovo facility. Still waiting on the refund from that one. The second, well they use the 'wonderful' UPS. UPS attempted delivery and then dropped my package off to an access point a 20 minute drive away. There is an access point open 3 minutes walk from my home. I've been calling both companies trying to get my tablet to either be sent to the closer point or my workplace, everyone I speak to gives me a different answer and I have to repeat everything again which shows they aren't logging anything. Lenovo, you have a week to get this tablet to me and to refund the unwanted tablet. If not I will be contacting my credit card company and requesting an investigation. I have my old Lenovo Tablet, a laptop and desktop currently but after seeing how poor the support will be if anything went wrong I'll be switching to someone else.

Everything about the trip was dreadful !First we were there the required 10 minutes before the pick up but your coach was just over 30 minutes late so we were waiting in the drizzle for over 40 minutes. No apology from the guide until my wife mentioned it and he mumbled “sorry traffic” which is rubbish as Malaga is only 10 minutes away. He asked names told us to get on coach (no checking of booking documentation or if we had passports/id with us. The coach was dreadful, it was small in its number of seats, width and height. The seats were very narrow and so close together we couldn’t sit with legs and knees straight in front (we are NOT tall or big) Trying to move to do anything was impossible. This was a coach to suit little people or really children. The Coach was virtually full and later boarders found things awkward getting into their seats as there were a load of foreign students with seats fully reclined which they didn’t/wouldn’t put up. The so called guide Joachim was USELESS and not a guide. He didn’t interact with the passengers or check them or the coach during the trip. He didn’t say anything (not one word) during the whole painful drawn out pickup process or until we were 10 minutes away from Gib. At that point he stood up at the front of the coach and started talking for about 5-10 minutes saying it may be time he said something and started rambling on which only the first few rows could hear because of the coach and road noise but mainly because he was speaking WITHOUT a microphone. The trip is advertised as a tour with a guide to Gib but it doesn’t even go to Gib you are deposited the Spanish side of the border and you have to fend for yourself thereon. This is NOT stated in the trip itinerary (legality?).Same all the way back, not a peep out of him.He just seems to use this trip as a way of him and his wife to visit Gib for free.Something strange happened on the return trip as after about 50km into the journey a women went to the front of the coach and the next thing the coach pulls into a petrol station and the woman and her friend both got off and went inside and we drove off and left them there? These two were the last to board the return trip in rush and we immediately pulled off with them not seated. Had they got on the wrong coach. The whole day was a horrible experience and nothing like our previous GYG trip which was excellent.Edited 4/4/2025Thank you Get Your Guide for action on this matter and your speedy compensation refund.I fully understand that the trip was provided by a third party company who are the ones responsible for our poor experience. Our actual booking with you and your customer service post trip has been excellent. It is a shame that the providers used let you down so badly.

I have been on the telephone for at least an hour and this isn't my first call. I purchased a brand new dell laptop which quit working after about 3 days. Wouldn't even turn on. I called Dell and they sent me a box to return it. Apparently they meant to send it in for warranty service not just returning it because it was under warranty -- my fault for not paying close enough attention to his words. I put it in the box and a week or so later I got a call asking for permission to wipe the hard drive and reinstall the ios. So now I am told that it will be returned to me so I can return it to the proper department -- yet another waste of my time for a faulty computer. Don't buy the "special deals" -- pay more for a good computer -- somewhere else. You never want to call the voice mail hell.

How messed up is Amazon.com now? NOT WORTH IT! They deleted my personal account with an order I was charged for but not all items were delivered. REALLY BAD! Until this is corrected. I will write a bad review for this company weekly.
