Review of eventbrite

Evenbrite Is An Absolutely Hopeless Event Booking Web Site

Absolutely hopeless event booking web site. Only set up to take money from people that have an event to advertise. I have tried on several occasions to book tickets for an event and found it impossible to find that event. And there is no contact phone number on that Evenbrite web site. I was guided there by my local newspaper who had a story about the event and advised readers to go to Evenbrite to buy tickets. Tomorrow I am going to where the event is taking place and shall tell the organizers of the event that they should never use Evenbrite again. Then I will repeat that action to anyone else that is using that web site to sell tickets for them until Evenbrite smarten up their act and make long overdue alterations to their web site. I shall also repeat my actions on my wide reaching social media connections. I am sick and tired of companies that give bad or no service at all to their customers.

Supports child grooming

These Scumbags clearly support the sexualisation of our young boys and girls by mentally challenged “drag queens”. Should be boycotted

BBC rock show always playlisting…

BBC rock show always playlisting artists signed to Nuclear Blast - a truly grotesque company. Not content with marketing Tim Lambesis a man who hired a contract killer to terminate his wife, and Sin Quirin a pedophile who slept with under age fans, now they are promoting a tour for Decapitated, known gang rapists. talk about the pedos looking after the pedos.....

Review of kickstarter

You’d do better donating

So apparently anyone can get on Kickstarter, start a campaign, collect consumers money, not deliver product. Kickstarter take their cut and do nothing about the stolen consumer’s funds for non-delivered goods. I will never use this platform again and will report them to my state’s AG.

Recently Google adjudicated a review of mine as the beach of policies, while I agree, my review was rather scathing that review alone should’ve been addressed. Instead, they pulled all the other reviews of mine 99% are positive. This childish approach and will impact other business negatively who’ve done nothing wrong.

Disgusting and unethical

Leadership publicly announced shorting people for amusement, very unethical behaviour. Pumps for own agenda, information is biased to pump and dump for Barry's personal gain. Don't take my word, google Barry Silbert shorting.

WORST tech support in the industry - even worse than Motorola

Yep, Samsung technical support is the absolute WORST in the industry - even worse than Motorola, and that's saying something!I've had a tech support case open for my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G since September 2022 - as I write this, that's SEVEN MONTHS now - and for the last 5 months they simply did not even bother to respond back at all. That's since PROMISING that they would get a Level 3 tech support person to assist me.Why did I ask for Level 3? Because the answers I got from their standard "Level 2" reps were not much better than you could get from a partially-trained monkey - in many cases, the answers received in the 'Samsung Members' app (which is supposedly staffed by trained tech support personnel) were obviously just copied/pasted from Google searches - I knew that because of course I had already tried searching the answers myself... but I digress...So anyway, on 23 Sept 2022, a rep (who I will not name here) assured me via email that "I immediately escalate the issue to our Tier 3 team for review. Please give our team time to review and come back to you as soon as possible and update you through email."And that, folks, was the last I ever heard from them until I reminded them two days ago that perhaps 7 months might be a little longer than the average human would regard as acceptable customer service? And guess what - their reply was so pathetic: "we don't have a way to escalate this to our level 3 support because this is part of our Samsung feature, most likely we advise our customer to send an error report on our Samsung members app."YES YOU HEARD IT STRAIGHT FROM THE MONKEY'S MOUTH - firstly, the issues I have are apparently not issues at all, but "Samsung features" (remember the old joke "it's not a bug, it's a feature"? - well, it seems Samsung actually lives by that credo! And secondly - after having been ALREADY escalated to Level 3 support seven months ago, they are now attempting to say "we don't have a way to escalate this" - I mean, SERIOUSLY??But you haven't even heard the most frustrating part yet - see how they replied "we advise our customer to send an error report on our Samsung members app"? WELL JUST WHAT THE FREAK DO YOU THINK I DID SEVEN MONTHS AGO???I started by doing just that - sending an error report on the app! And now, guess what - THEY DON'T EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO REVIEW MY DETAILED REPLIES FROM BACK THEN - EVEN AFTER I OBLIGINGLY COPIED/PASTED EVERYTHING INTO TODAY'S EMAIL!Take it from me - if you don't wanna be stuck in a whole world of Catch-22 with no freakin' way to get out - AVOID SAMSUING LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Review of facebook

Facebook doesn't think that I'm a human

I have never used social media. Until now. Last week I set up a Facebook account for myself. Yes, I'm a little behind the times. Why am I starting now, when so many other people are abandoning the cesspool of trolls and misinformation? For me, it's mainly to communicate with my kids and grandkids. They are very slow to respond to e-mail and their preferred communication channel is Facebook Messenger. Okay, so I make the account on January 13th, 2025. And on January 16th, it gets suspended. What did I do, you may ask? Did I post something inflammatory? Did I say something mean? Nope! I entered my biographical data and family relationships and I linked to them. My wife and kids confirmed the relationships. I friended a few friends, and they accepted. I "liked" a photo or two from each friend, just to be polite. I had a long Messenger chat with my kids about an upcoming camping trip. I had a video Messenger chat with an old friend. That's it!Facebook thinks that I'm not a human. Frankly, it's insulting. I appealed. Facebook wanted a video clip of me rotating my head in various angles. I complied. The next day when I tried to log into my account I got a notification saying that my account had been disabled and that I cannot request another review! And then there was a link, labeled "Read more about account integrity". When I clicked on that, I discovered that it's a dead link. WTF, Facebook?!One of my friends has a Facebook account for his long deceased dog, and it still gets birthday wishes. So Facebook is okay with dead dogs, but not a human grandfather with 2 kids and 5 grandkids? And Facebook gives absolutely no reason for this, other than a dead link? As far as I'm concerned, Facebook can go Friend itself!

Avoid at all cost!

It has been a month since my first time contacting customer service. They reply with auto message asking to submit request again, which also come after 4 days instead of their promised 12 hours. Tried sending emails but same- zero response and now they withholding my funds. No one to contact and no one responds.

Review of abebooks

2 Stars for a quick refund.

After writing a scathing review of Discover Books, one of the booksellers used by AbeBooks to sell used books sent me a nearly unbelievably filthy and very damaged children's book that had been described by DB's as being in "Very Good," condition, AbeBooks clearly got my memo and quickly sent me a full refund. Still, AB's surely knows how bad DB's is, and that is not forgivable. I had mentioned AbeBooks in my very negative Discover Books review stating I would never use AB's because of its use of DB's - a garbage company.2 stars because I appreciate the expedience of AB's quick response and issuance of a full refund, but having read AB's reviews on Trustpilot I can't risk ordering from them again.
