I was not able to travel to Vancouver Island on December 25th, 2024 because all ferries were cancelled due to storms and gale force winds. As a result, I was not able to make the first night of a two night reservation. My request for a one night refund was ignored by the host so I contacted VRBO. They asked me to send screenshots of newspaper articles proving that the ferries were cancelled due to the storms so I sent them news articles from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Global News reporting the travel disruptions. VRBO has an extenuating circumstances policy which states that when broad scale travel disruptions prevent a VRBO traveller from completing their reservation, VRBO can activate its Extenuating Circumstances Policy, applicable to all bookings made on VRBO and if such an event occurs, and VRBO activates this policy, they must provide refunds for impacted reservations, regardless of the reservation’s cancellation policy. They failed to invoke the policy and told me it was at the host’s discretion. I am very unhappy but I’ve accepted that I will not receive a refund. However, my mostly positive review of the property was declined because I mentioned that ferries were cancelled and I did not receive a one night refund. VRBO is cherry picking reviews. I think potential customers have the right to know that they will not receive a refund for widespread travel disruptions (particularly at this time of year when they may occur).

I own a landscaping business and have been contacted relentlessly by Home Advisor to be added to their system. I have asked from the very first call that I received to be removed from their calling list. Today (3-23-21) I was contacted yet again by a childish little girl by the name of Gabby. After telling her that I was yet again not interested she hung up in my face. I called back and she hung up on me a second time. This company is a joke and its sales representatives are petty little kids. If you can’t take a hard no in a sales job and not get a dirty diaper about it then you need to move on to another profession. You need to hire professionals and not children. Stop the calls because they are really getting old.

Personalised communication from my Account Manager. Was so easy to deal with and completely understood my transfer needs. Notification by email after each of my deposits to Xe had been made Almost instant transfer and notification to my country of choice once my deposits to Xe had been approved. I have used Xe many times and since improvements have been made by the company, this was by far the easiest transaction.I will gladly recommend.

We experienced a problem with our church website - having nothing to do with wpforms - which led to the loss of all of our forms. Upon contacting your company, Mike not only assured me that there was nothing to worry about (70-year-old non-tech people need to hear this!) and actually went in and fixed the problem for us. Superb service, and the forms have always worked - and now work again - "perfectly" for our needs via a simple plugin.

One shirt not so good The logo started to come off. I don’t know weather to return it or fix it myself. I ve had 3 other shirts do that crinkle up and never recover. I do not put them in the dryer for fear of that so I do not wear them

I am disappointed with this app. It is NOT how it used to be. It has become about money and not for the users. We do NOT have a voice. Censorship to the max. I had a friend her son had heart surgery who is 5 years old. She was posting about her business to make money for his surgery. Facebook deactivated her account. I cannot support a company who does things like this.

I am beyond frustrated with Facebook. My personal profile and 9 pages were recently hacked, and I’ve been left with zero support from their team. The security measures are virtually nonexistent, and the process for recovering hacked accounts is horrendous. I’ve tried to reach out for help, but the response is slow, and the help options are useless.It’s clear that Facebook doesn’t take user security seriously. Losing access to multiple accounts is devastating, especially when you're running pages that require constant management. What’s even worse is that once your account is compromised, the recovery process feels like a never-ending battle with no real resolution in sight.I expected a platform of this size to have better security measures in place and an efficient support system for cases like mine, but sadly, Facebook has proven to be unreliable and negligent. If you care about your privacy and online security, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

I was talked into a PRO card and how great it is by this guy manager. They had only 12 items in stock and I was told if I buy 15 of these items, I would get a bigger discount. I paid for 15 items, left and came back at a later date to pick up the other 3 items. I was told there is no record. The sale girl wrote in her notes I took all 15 items...big mistake. PRO Managers say they will call me back with a solution but never call back. I called many times, no response from LOWES people in Herkimer NY, store 2400. Terrible way to do business. Also filed 2 complaints so far,have 2 case numbers and no follow up from Lowes.

Revised: I complained about the issue below, and within 1 working day they have responded with a full refund. I still think these subscription models should remind you a few days ahead of auto-renewal so you can decide (in a world of countless subscriptions where tbh its easy to lose track...) but as a resolution for my issue I can't ask for more than what they have done. A pleasant surprise.Original (1 star): Charged $199 for renewal for something I never use and thought I had cancelled 11months ago. Mistake but no reminder email? It’s a model that relies on you forgetting to cancel rather than the underlying product being of any use. One small, almost invisible step above theft.
