Review of eventbrite

Eventbrite didn’t help when I got SCAMMED!

I bought tickets through Eventbrite. The DJ cancelled the event by email, kept my money and didn’t refund. When I contacted Eventbrite, they said there is nothing they can do because the event was not cancelled within Eventbrite. The DJ obviously knows this loophole and is scamming. Disgusting that Eventbrite had absolutely no appetite to catch this man. No wonder it has tons of 1 star reviews!

Review of ea

Ea games has beautiful games but,.....

Ea games has beautiful games but they have a major problem atm. There are tons of people who can't link their steam accounts due to a lifetime account partnership and in my case.... My account was hacked and someone logged in with a bot profile and now I'm doomed to not be able to use my account on p.c. due to this bull. They really need to pickup their game in the customer service department.

£24 and 3 Continents, 24,740km's for an umbrella, way to go Amazon, planet saved.

I bought a brilliant umbrella for my wife's wheelchair, great price. So, what's the problem, I hear you say.3 Continents, six different locations, 24,740 km's to get to me, oh, and reboxed. This item started its journey at the manufacturer in North Carolina, shipped to another address in North Carolina, shipped to Shenzhen China, who shipped it to Limay France, who shipped it to Toledo Spain, who shipped it to an Amazon hub in the UK who put a perfectly good box inside an even bigger box and shipped it to me in Glasgow. This all took about two weeks. The item only cost £24, there is no way money was made on this item, and if you're an environmentalist, I'm not, then you'll be horrified at the Carbon Footprint of this products journey.I wrote this as a product review and Amazon have rejected it, who'd have thunk. They asked me to edit my submission, but when I click 'Edit review' button in the email, I get a black review, I'm not planning to do it all again.A few months ago I got an email from then asking me to review their environmental credentials as to waste in the supply chain, paper bag instead of box etc. What a joke.

Quick to take your money but very slow to give it back! Applied for a refund over a month ago and still waiting even though it said it would be dealt with in 5-7 working days.

Overcharged for a useless product.

Overcharged for a product I could not fully use. 22 dollars a month was not terrible for what I could create in In Design but I could not save the file in any format that could be printed by outside companies. When I canceled, they charged me 126 dollars to cancel. Adobe is a pretty terrible company, I knew that going in, but I have found it is worse. Avoid like the plague.

Review of aaa

Worst Experience Ever

Congratulations! AAA has now shot to #1 on my list of the worst companies I’ve ever done business with. For over 4 hours and multiple calls, all AAA did was lie and make up stories. Every time we called we were told something different. We are now trying again the next day to get this resolved and the lies continue. Despite being told what time the tow truck would be there, here we are after driving 50 minutes to the car and waiting 40 minutes past when they would be here and now being told 2 more hours! Do NOT waste your money buying a AAA membership. Trust me! I will be calling to cancel our membership in the morning as soon as they open.

Review of thomann

Best after purchase customer service EVER!

Based in Paris, I ordered a keyboard, stand and bench from Thomann for my workplace to be used by staff members. The Thomann website was easy to use, there was a good selection of choices at competitive prices and delivery was quick. However, I am writing to describe the incredible after sale customer service that I received. One year and a few days after purchase, we discovered that the pedal was no longer working surely due to rough use by the many different players. As it was not only the actual pedal, but the connection on the keyboard, it was a serious repair job. I reached out to Thomann and explained the situation and asked to discuss reparation options. Without any negotiations, pleading or discussions, they immediately sent me a pre-paid UPS voucher to send the keyboard to Thomann in Germany to be repaired. The voucher they provided even covered UPS coming to pick up the keyboard so I needn't find a drop off site.It took me a month to get around to organising pick up. As soon as it arrived, Thomann wrote me to confirm they had received the keyboard and then they repaired it and sent it back to me in Paris 11 days later! And it all was free of charge!I have never experienced a better customer service. They were professional, reactive, efficient, communicative/informative, and above all, it was so incredibly easy! So thank you again, Thomann. I would recommend you with my eyes closed to anyone and everyone!

Review of Spotify

Spotify's New Game Plan - 101 on Deceiving your paying members

How to spot greedy companies and how robotization or AI helps them achieve itMy personal case with SpotifyFailing to update my credit card details prompted "You have lost access to your premium account. After 1.5 hours of dialogue with Spotify customer support based outside Sweden, they realized that I am temporarily outside of my home country, temporarily at my vacation home in Greece, and based on pinning me down to my current location, they asked me to change my home address to Greece, which I did.I added my credit card, Spotify charged my bank account in less than 10 seconds, and then I invited my 17-year-old daughter to register with my new Spotify membership, Premium Duo (not saying a word about the fact that all the communication prompted on the app was in Greek only), which failed massively due to the fact that you can't have any Duo or Family plan if any of your family is temporarily outside of your declared residence home. The customer representative told me that any member of my family could join, no matter where they are now. Big lie.But hey, it is not possible; if you are outside of the country, even temporarily, forget about it.Now I contacted them again and asked them to cancel and refund me. Still in wait. Now my daughter is 17 years old. A high school student, last year by all means, is not recognized as a student, but she can register as an adult, for which the price is almost double. Now all these Spotify barriers work against any EU core principles, and I wonder if any big law firms can investigate and eventually open a class action lawsuit against Spotify.

Good customer support experience

I bought a domain to park and use for email while I wait for a buyer. I needed support creating a folder and linking to my iPhone and the support rep was really good. Also very easy to renew the domain every couple of years.

Why is this required for so many college courses? I prefer getting actual textbooks irl. I don't wanna have to pay for a textbook online just to do the assignments within it when I already paid for the course itself.
