Review of whatismyipaddress

from usually in the dark and now into the light with your site

This program gives me, for once, the power I needed to find out just who is sending really gross, numerous and unwanted emails. I can't believe how much I learned and the way and ease in which I learned it. WhatIsMyIPAddress.com just made my day.

The ease and user-friendliness of Seat Geek is BY FAR a much better experience than with the “the other guys” who I’m sure I don’t need to mention! Thanks so much for making my life easier!!!

Review of crunchyroll

Hmmm!!!

I find this app/website to be very messy all the animés are all bunched together, it's so hard to find an anime that plays in English dub. Good grief! It's so frustrating. Cataloguing of the animé desperately needs an immediate tidy up definitely with Funimation content being added over to Crunchyroll, starting this spring season, all new anime series will launch only on Crunchyroll. Why they decided to do that I have no idea. Crunchyroll needs a huge improvement, and quick. Looking through their selection is a huge headache, they have a good selection but shame about how it's all arranged, I suspect at this moment they don't have much dub animes, I don't know their hard to find at this moment. They need to update the animés as well, because some of the animés are actually available in English dub, but Crunchyroll only has the subtitled versions only shown. Considering Crunchyroll are the largest anime provider out there i expected better but was left highly disappointed and annoyed.

Review of 99designs

I like 99designs

I like 99designs, it's a well designed fairly slick service. However, as always I think the clients need to be managed down because they're truly getting a huge amount of ideas for very little money.Perhaps there's also a rule to the number of changes they can request once a project is in process. It might help them be more considerate towards what they spend the designers time on.

Review of youtube

Overpriced bait-and-switch service

The price is ridiculously high (~$83/month without 4K nor "premium" channels) and increases every couple of months (it launched at ~35/month).

Review of ticketmaster

Terrible Customer Service

I tried three times to reach someone at Ticketmaster to ask a simple question: were the tickets we had bought reserved seating or not? I had believed they were (and paid a premium for them), but the day before the show Ticketmaster sent a confusing email saying that only "gold ticket" sections were reserved, and that "General Admission" ticket holders should bring a lawn chair. I used their chat to try to reach a customer service agent with my simple question -- are tickets in Section S reserved or not? do we need to bring a lawn chair? -- and after trying to reach a human being multiple times, finally someone (or something -- the "agent" insisted they were human, but I'm not sure) cut and pasted the policy about no coolers, etc., in General Admission. I kept repeating my question -- I understand the policy, but want to know if MY tickets are indeed General Admission? -- and the person/bot got very rude and told me yes they were, and disconnected the chat before I could ask a clarifying question. By the way, this answer was completely wrong -- we did indeed have reserved seats, and had Ticketmaster's customer "service" "agent" been able to answer a simple question to begin with, we would not have had to go through this rigamarole. And of course there is the matter of Ticketmaster sending around an utterly confusing emailt to begin with.

Review of Shopify

No dark mode?

I’m writing a negative review for this app over its removal of dark mode. The removal of dark mode negatively impacts my experience with the app and, if it isn't reinstated, I will be uninstalling the app and no longer using Shop's services. I have astigmatism and it unfortunately makes this app’s light mode physically painful to look at for me. Your app hurts my eyes now when I open it, rendering it unusable for me over long periods. The idea from Shop’s support team that dark mode was removed because it had "insufficient usage" is just BS.Nearly every other app now offers some kind of dark mode. What this really is about (and what the Shop’s support team can’t or won’t say out loud) is that their team is cheap/lazy and no longer want to keep up with maintaining an accessibility feature used by a large portion of their userbase. I want to reiterate that if dark mode isn't brought back, I will be deleting my Shop app and account entirely. There are plenty of other shopping apps that can do the same job that Shop can but that also aren’t migraine-inducing.

Review of fool

They never list their losers and there are many! Admit to having a problem with the Left Wing wackos

You are a fool to waste your hard earned money on FOOL. FOOL markets itself as an know-it-all stock picking service for novice investors. If you're a novice you should not be investing in individual stocks but in ETF's (Exchange Traded Funds) that are tied to certain indexes. The QQQ is the NASDQ top 100 stocks, VTHUR is the Russell 3000 stock index (top 3000 stocks), the world excluding USA stocks, etc., etc. ETF's fees are usually a lot less then mutual funds. Playing individuals with under 5 years experience is not Kosher, Imprimatur or whatever. Investing a little in a few stocks here and there ok but your portfolio: no! no! FOOL is not that wonderful; at best it is below ok. I've been investing since the mid 1980's and I still own a few ETF's (transferred out of mutual funds to ETF's when created in the 00's). Options I only started getting heavy into them about 20 years of investing behind me.I have been investing for 40 years now. I tried FOOL last year as to get some ideas. Instead I got lame brain stock picks, left wing lunatics and an administration that knows problems with the lefties exist but don't do a thing about it. The stocks they chose I should have bought put options or shorted their picks: most of them stink. Fool only hypes it winners but I can list dogs such as Disney which has done nothing in a decade, Square & Paypal they bought in at around $60 during COVID. The stock went up to $240 or so (I got out at $180, before I joined Fool) and they rode it on back down to $60 4 years later. FOOL is one big marketing scam. Their stock picks are terrible. I don't think I used one of their recommendations. In fact, I had the stocks for 100% to 200% gains then Fool comes in and recommends them a year or three after I had owned the stock. Why would I need them? I am doing a ten times better job with using other sites and my own ideas. I could see people losing a lot of money, not just a few bucks but 75%. They pick when they are at their highs and ride them down. Their recommendations are the kaput. I don't know how many stocks they rode to the toilet. They have a new one again on Upstart. They recommended this stock when it was up in the $300's and now it around $50: that is a 83% loss or you would need a 600% gain to break even. Yes 600+%, that would be some pick! They are still promoting this: maybe if you get in now you'll make a few dollars but no other investment site is too keen on UPST. FOOL just recommended Corning when it was at $51 not last year at $28. Corning historically never gone past $60 it is one of those that goes up and down over a few years but pays a dividend. They call Google a dividend stock. Okay it pays a 0.33% dividend but just to get 1 share of stock in a DRIP (dividend reinvestment program) you would have to have over 100 shares of stock ($16,750 approx.) 2 1/4 years to get that 1 share worth $167. To double it would take a century or two. AT&T, VZ several banks; they are dividend stocks (pay over 2.50%, not scraps). In their comments they don't use an algorithm. If 3 people disagree they can make a b.s. reason to block your comment. I complained numerous times and they admitted they have a problem. Now if they cannot handle that what else can they not handle. You get bushwhacked by the liberals so if you are right of center or right don't bother.Don't bother wasting your hard invested money. Use TipRanks which comes free with Interactive Brokers or at least use the free version. Use the free stuff out there, use your library card (I get Value Line & Tip Ranks) and most brokerages give you Morningstar and S&P for free. Take a class at a local community college, read books buy Barrons weekly and the WSJ or Financial Times of London, listen to FoxBusiness or Bloombergs (CNBC is tainted) but what ever you do run from this service.

I have always had a wonderful experience with wp engine. they go above and beyond to help resolve any issue I have. Review of ko-fi

Great for Art Commissions & Selling Things

I've been using Ko-fi for almost a year now for commissions and selling Twitch/Discord emotes that I drew myself. I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how amazing it is for digital artists & other creators. Ko-fi is the best friend of best friends. It'll organize your commission orders for you, it gives you clear spots to put your terms, rules, instructions, etc. to make it easier on both you and those that commission you. They're like a top tier assistant for businesses, creators, and artists alike. I've tried BuyMeACoffee and Patreon and neither of them even start to compare to what Ko-fi's been able to do for me. It's a perfect platform for creator support, selling your products, and taking custom orders/commissions. Not sure what I'd do without Ko-fi at this point <3As a digital artist, I rate it 10/10 for my needs.I would highly recommend this to any other digital artists out there looking for a platform that'll help them with what they need to properly open shop!

Review of chase

THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU!!!!!!

I was looking to get a credit card with chase. I had a 750 credit score but wanted to get it higher. Long story short my credit is now 720 because when you apply for a card with chase they do a hard inquiry meaning they check your credit score and it will go down in points. What's the point of doing that if your gonna get denied anyway? I can just screen shot my score from experian and email it. There's gotta be another way for them to get that information without hurting us.Its preposterous it only hurts your image and they move on like nothing happened. I'm upset 😡
