HORRIBLE COMPANY!

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! We turned off the cellular data on our phones on a recent overseas trip and they still charged us for calls we didn't make. Although we had been customers for over 20 years, they would not refund the charges. This is just one of many bad experiences we have had with AT&T. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!

I am very disappointed with my recent experience with AT&T. When I signed up for their business service, the employee I dealt with failed to be upfront about the real prices and hidden fees. Jordan Muller at central Florida. I was quoted one price, but when the bill arrived, it was much higher due to additional charges and he lied to me during the setup process. Also all the credits he promised were not real. He sent me a PDF with the quote and I asked how much additional fees there would be and he lied about the amount. Said my first bills would be higher than the quote, around $300, but when I got the first bill it was over $900. When I called him, he told me not to pay, that he would resolve it. But in 3 weeks my phone service was cut and I lost a whole day of business calls. When I contacted him that my phone service was cut, he said just to get a prepaid SIM card with a new number until it was resolved. Obviously, that is not a solution when you have a business running. He finally admitted that there was nothing he can do to help me. I feel misled, and the lack of transparency is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect honesty, especially when it comes to pricing. If AT&T wants to keep their customers, especially business customers, they need to ensure their employees provide accurate information and stop hiding fees in the fine print.I would not recommend AT&T based on this experience.

Horrible phone service

Horrible phone service. Long phone service waits. The aren't proactive about replacing outdated routers, and give you incredible run arounds via their phone system, which is among the worst I've encountered. I feel sorry for their customer service members, trapped in a completely dysfunctional system. AT&T doesn't care about its customers, or its employees.

Quick Turnaround

Timely response to a payment-related question that had some time urgency. Replying on a weekend was a big plus!

Review of flipkart

Flipkart to my view is one of the…

Flipkart to my view is one of the highly unprofessional and unethical e commerce company in India.Flipkart is a fraud company they always dispatch the dirt cheap quality products and deny returns. Customer service is a joke in Flipkart and they believe in customer harrasment.I ordered a vanity wash basin mirror on Feb 12'23 and the same was delivered on Feb 15 in damaged condition. I raised this complaint same day and customer service representative assured me that one of our vendor will collect it shortly and post receiving this product, refund will be processed.Next day vendor came to my place but refused to collect the product as mirror was shattered badly. Vendor said that shattered mirror is not required however he assured to share his consent with company that product was damaged and refund will be processed accordingly. After half an hour I got a msg from Flipkart that refund request has been rejected due to product mis-match.Now in last 7 days I have raised this concern many times but they are not refunding my amount.Even I have sent a complaintto CEO Mr. Kalyan but some Lady made a call and assured that amount will be credited by 21st Feb but no resolution found. It seems that Mr. Kalyan is also enjoying this loot money. There People are thieves so let bycott Flipkart.Rakesh PathaniaMob 8802540642

Review of bol

Great prices, good catalog, recommended

Well, I understand where bad reviews are coming from - it's about bad sellers and bol.com takes responsibility for their bad behavior. Well, I always take care when selecting a seller and ALWAYS prefer bol.com to other sellers. Never had a problem, VERY competitive prices and no problems whatsoever. Had number of amazing deals during Black Friday! The website is somewhat outdated unfortunately.

Review of economist

Terrific Magazine...Appalling Customer Service

It seems incongruous giving The Economist 1 star as it's an excellent magazine. I have no problem with the researchers, contributors etc. This review relates to my experience of trying to set up a subscription.

The subscription was a Christmas present for my father who has been reading The Economist for many years. I placed an order online with a credit card and received an email confirmation that the 1 year subscription was in place. So I sat back and relaxed.

The fun started when the magazines didn't show up.

To cut a long story short, the customer services team eventually told me that my subscription had been cancelled via a request to their telephone team. So I asked them to check their call logs and tell me who called and why they cancelled. The response was that they couldn't tell me any details of the call - only that it was made and my order was cancelled. Now, either The Economist told me a bare-face lie, which I offer as a possibility - nothing more, or they have a serious problem with their ordering system. Presumably if an order is cancelled, one which was made with a credit card, then the only person with the authority to do so is the person who placed the order - in this case me. But I didn't. So the only other conclusion I can draw is that anyone can call them up and cancel whatever they like. After all, nothing is logged.

I can cope with companies tripping up. It happens from time to time and it's no big deal - as long as it's put right. The really bizarre thing with The Economist was that it was quite clear a mistake had been made - I don't really care by whom - and that there was a customer who wanted his Economist delivered. But at no point was there any offer of help, any suggestion such as, "We're sorry about this. Call this number now and let us put things right."

It took, on average, 3 days for the customer services team to respond to each of my mails and so the whole affair was long and drawn out. It culminated with me saying that I was very confused and asking what they were going to do about it. Their final word? "Here's a link to our website where you can place an order."

Terrific.

However, at the bottom of each customer services e/mail were the heart warming words: "Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused in this matter."

It's the sincerity that brought a lump to my throat.

I dislike whinging and most of my reviews are about great companies who have impressed me. Sorry Economist, but you were dreadful on this occasion. So my advice is buy the magazine if it's on your newsagent's shelf; you won't regret it. But if you're tempted by a subscription...

Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT

Do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT! I say that because of the numerous experiences I've had with them. Not the least they have some of my money and won't let me have it. They've had it for two or three years. I can't make changes because they have NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. In my opinion, they are a flim-fam scam outfit. They have it fixed so that when your money held with them reaches a certain low point (I think it's under $100 or something. I can't recall the exact amount. But when that happens, you can not take out your money. You can not take out under $100 of your own money. Therefore, you can't close your account. All this can (and I'm not saying it will or won't or giving advice) mess up your income tax. I really think what they do is against the law and they should be sued and charged. I've been out of crypto for about three years but can't close this account. My money belongs to them. Please, if you deal in crypto, do business with a reputable place. None of them are great but I think coinbase may be as close to honest as any of them. Crypto.com is very bad.

So extremely mad

So extremely mad. The course I took was fine but then THEY SIGNED ME UP FOR MORE COURSES I had no intention of taking. The worst part is that they then charged me for it. It is well within the 2 weeks for the refund but they have yet to respond to my emails. I am a college student I can not afford an extra $79 I had no intention to pay. I signed up for 1 course and they took it upon themselves to reenroll me. So displeased. This company is solely out for money.
