Unethical Business Practice

Their unethical business dealing doesn't even deserve a star!As a business professional, I have not experienced their sub-standard customer service until recently.An event booked through Eventbrite was cancelled due to COVID-19 so money paid by me was meant to be refunded back to me. I emailed to Eventbrite to inform them that unfortunately the bank account from which I had paid was closed and therefore could they organise to refund to my new bank account. Eventbrite customer service gave me the run-around, insisting that I had to wait 5-7 business days for funds to be transferred and then bounced back before they could look into it. After that, they insisted on proofs that the account was closed. Even with the written proof from the bank that the account is closed and that the money transferred back to a closed account would have bounced back to Eventbrite, they have the audacity to insist that the bank must write to them to confirm that the money has been sent back to Eventbrite.This is despite the fact that a letter from the bank written to them was already provided, clearly stating that “Any transfers or credits into this account or card number will bounce back to the bank the transfer was made from.”This is still not acceptable to them. I have been very patient and reasonable with regards to a simple request. I had also supplied the necessary proof of my bank account closure. What is very clear to me is that Eventbrite has an unethical approach of holding onto customer's money as long as they can.To date, I am still pursuing Eventbrite for the refunded amount.PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE AN ORGANISER FOR EVENTS, AND WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING BY YOUR ATTENDEES, TRY TO USE AN ALTERNATIVE TO EVENTBRITE, LIKE HUMANITIX.

It really has hit the depths over the past 3 years.Everything is so wokewashed its become an embarrassment from pc news to blm dramas and documentaries not to mention the radio where everything has to be black and white and groveling to a minority that make up about 5% of the uk population.Go to youtube or old podcasts and watch and listen to the bbc before it and its controllers lost their minds and when they made brilliant programmes.Today it is the brainwashing tool of government that portrays a UK that simply does not exist.

I had several issues originally and when I went back for a 4th time to the store in Peachtree City - at the Avenue, Kim, the manager was there. She was AMAZING and I don't say that lightly!!. She was patient, nice, multi tasked, wanted what was best for me- the customer, and knowledgeable.Very impressed and appreciative for her outstanding customer service

horrible

The website fails to correctly parse author names from uploaded PDFs. The exported citations are missing many co-author names, which may confuse referencing software and affect citation counts - creating opposite effect of what academia.edu claims to achieve.Answering Academia:The support team suggested that I should get all my co-authors onto academia.edu, and ONLY THEN the citation would show the correct information. This seems like a dubious marketing strategy! I would suggest everyone to AVOID ACADEMIA.

Incompetent

Everyone received a census form for 2021 with a threat of a fine if not completed - what a joke, several people I know of completed the form online, gained a confirmation and one week later receive letters stating we didn't respond, please fill in again with a different access code! This obviously happening to a majority of people completing the form as on ringing the freephone number there is a message from Wales please ignore if you've completed the form. A lot of elderly who've completed the form wouldn't think of ringing meaning Office for National Statistics are receiving a lot of duplicates. Obviously these incompetents are 'working' from home and don't know what they're doing much like all other Government Departments wasting Tax Payers money.

Billing Plans Don't Serve My Needs

There really isn't a billing plan that works for my company's needs. The free doesn't offer us the ability to share with another person and limits to only 10 questions, but the paid versions don't offer a combination of the things I need unless I choose the highest price point, which has way more than I need. I've been searching for another option because of this.

Customer service at Target doesn't…

Customer service at Target doesn't exist anymore. They entered my bank information incorrectly so that it pulled from an account I don't even have access to give them numbers for (verified this with bank) and CANNOT get a CS representative who even understands the issue or what I am trying to get fixed. They claim they cannot transfer me to anyone in the U.S., they are all in the Philippines. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, Target? I won't shop at Walmart, now I can't shop Target either? What options are left??I now hate living in America. There is not one single company who cares about their customers anymore.

The National Trust has completely lost its way

Sadly I have, like many, resigned my membership (and joined the RNLI instead.) I can no longer support the National Trust as an organisation which has lost sight of the core task of maintaining and improving the fabric of the nations great buildings and landscapes turning instead to political correctness and Woke'ishness. Its attempts to "correct" thinking amongst staff and volunteers that they believe is "incorrect" is Orwellian in nature. That is not what I want my membership fee spent on.The very last straw was the Trust's focus on slave trade funding Penrhyn Castle in North Wales but to the almost complete exclusion of mentioning the ex-owning family's appalling treatment of Welsh quarrymen in the 19th Century. It seems the Trust simply jumped on the political bandwagon of BLM. That is not "education" in my opinion.It would appear the Trust is as a result of the changes now losing significant support, volunteers and member income so its core task of maintaining the fabric of the buildings must be at risk. That in turn appears to be a dereliction of the Trusts responsibilities as a charity. Very very sad but I will not be supporting the Trust again until it changes direction.

Worst service

Worst service, no customer support at allToday, my all files are missing, I check sync history it shows deleted, I didn't deleted, and it was my private folder it was not shared to anyone. Moreover, I checked the web events it display message I removed my own access, that is totally ridiculous, impossible for me to remove my own access. neither my files in deleted folder, and there is no way to get it, and the most beautiful thing is dropbox has no support and customer, they are using chat bot...worst service overall, don't trust these online dropbox instead of securing file they are deleting, and not giving option to recover, worst of the worst.
