Review of chess

It is completely unfair that my account…

It is completely unfair that my account has been closed, especially after more than five years of playing. My account was shut down without any explanation after I won a game against an American opponent. I believe I have the right to know why this action was taken. Despite my appeal, I have not received any response or clarification regarding the decision. It's disappointing to see that any disgruntled opponent can seemingly report a player, resulting in account closure without a reasonable explanation. I strongly urge others to be cautious of this application due to the lack of transparency.

My Family and I stayed at The Best…

My Family and I stayed at The Best Western Plus in Searcy AR. April, The lady at the front desk is the best EVER. We had a big group and need somewhere to hang out so she open up the dining area. she gave us everything we needed to accommodate our needs. she is a very nice, polite, and professional host. To top it off, for a 3 star hotel, IT WAS CLEAN!!! Thank you APRIL for all your help. Ron and Family from Minnesota and Illinois.

Review of amazon

Been with AWS for years but having to cancel now

Been with AWS for years, and the support has been degrading for some time. Now, I am unable to login to my account. The AWS phone verification process fails, although I have the same phone number for decades. I've followed all the online support guidance to no avail. I opened a support case but they just sent me the same guidance as online. I opened another support case explaining that I had already followed all of the guidance and they sent an email to say that they would not contact me unless I replied to that email giving my number and the times I am available. I replied to that email but received a reply telling me that I must not reply to that email. I have no idea what to do next, but I am in the position where I cannot control or check the spending on my account and I cannot login or verify or get help. For safety I think I will have to cancel AWS off my card and let them delete my account through non-payment. It means losing all my s3 files, and having to let 2 domain names go, but I don't know what else to do. Lesson learned though. I'm so glad I didn't transfer all my domains and websites over to AWS. Be very careful, to all intents and purposes there is no support from AWS.

Review of opentable

Best stay away. Tricky subscriptions and sales process.

We were a user of Open Table in our restaurant in Australia. Very tricky with the subscription packages and how they get you to sign online. They will call and talk and get you to sign on a digital contract by offering a free period to convince you to swap. No way to keep a track of communication because they have high staff turnover in Australia. I have been dealing with 3 account managers in 6 months. What I realised is, they say that the package can be downgraded anytime, but they trick you by getting you to sign on a digital contract that has the high level subscription. By the time you find out it will be too late.

Review of economist

Love Economist and hate its circulation department.

I have been an Economist subscriber for many years. My only complaint is the same complaint I have with any and all circulation departments. Warning notices are sent, implying that my subscription is near expiration, when it isn't. I guess larceny is in the job description.

Not much point having a "Platinum" Card with a stupidly low credit limit

The Amex Express Platinum Cashback card looks great on paper and seems highly rated on comparison sites, including MSE. The application process is slick and the card arrived quickly, so what's not to like? It was only when I received the card that I noticed the credit limit was pathetically low, 10% of the other bank's card which I use now - unfortunately soon to be withdrawn from the market, hence my quest for a new go-to credit card. So the Amex card is not much use to me so I'll probably close the account soon as:- The benefit of this card is that when your annual spend exceeds £10,000 a good cashback rate kicks in but that limit is virtually unattainable with a stupidly low credit limit.- The card is no use for purchasing things like holidays or flights as single items could exceed one's credit limit.I called customer services who were pleasant and helpful but said that you normally can't increase your credit limit for 6 to 9 months. I explained my circumstances and, after further discussion I was pointed to a form to submit further financial information so I agreed to try that. When the form asked for passport details and accountant's details I decided not to carry on - life is too short. If Amex wanted this information it should have asked for it in the application process, one should not have to disclose one's whole financial details and more just to get a sensible credit limit. It appears that Amex is really only interested in finding out about income rather than other sources of spending power such as funds on deposit and investments and, from my experience, I draw the conclusion that the company isn't interested in the "grey" (which, of course, looks like platinum, in the right light) pound. Clearer marketing and product design would have saved me time and Amex money.

Premier Image - Hydraulic Facial

Premier Image - Linebaugh. I had my first Hydraulic Facial with Roxy. Roxy greeted me with a cup of "Calm" tea and biscuits. Soft spa music was playing and as I lay down, she dimmed the lights. She explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. Truly a wonderful experience and I will go back.

Initial withdrawal was a very confusing…

Initial withdrawal was a very confusing experience as the app is in my opinion very poorly designed in this regard - it's strange and surprising to me that you can't see what bank account details you have input when you set up the BMAC account in the first place and there's a surprising lack of options/buttons re. checking financial information etc. BUT the support team has been relatively prompt and helpful in helping resolve this initial withdrawal issue - i got my coffee money fairly within 3 days of contacting them - and henceforth the donations are going straight to my bank account via Stripe.

Review of alexa

Alexa.com by Amazon is a Scam

I was searching for a listing of search engines. I found that Alexa had "The top 500 sites on the web" and thought that it would be good because Alexa use to list search engines rankings before Amazon bought it. As I went through the listings on Alexa and checked each search engine, I found that at least half of the listed search engines were defunct, no longer search engines, or were companies selling products. Others were now malicious sites that have taken over many of the domain names. I had to be really careful to not infect my computer while checking the urls. The top sites are still in existence but what are their true ranks? There is no way to contact Alexa support unless you sign up for a trial membership. So, you can't even question their data. A membership starts at $149 a month. Certified Alexa Rank starts at $19.99 for 10 million pageviews per month. What are they certifying? What are people really getting for that amount? The information is old. How can site owners be given rankings if Alexa doesn't even know what it is ranking? To me, Alexa is a scam. I would advise website owners to think twice before signing up Alexa.I have images that I can't upload here. See Sitejabber.
