On 6/12/2025, I placed an on-line order for a set of 5-String Bass Strings (Ref: Order #GCW7856304343R1). Upon delivery of this order, I opened the package and found only 4 Bass Strings had been included in the order instead of 5 Bass Strings.

Facebook Developer Platform Is Broken & Restrictive

It’s incredible how a company like Facebook (Meta) keeps getting worse. I don’t use Facebook as a regular user but strictly as a developer. My old account stopped receiving admin notifications, making it impossible to manage permissions.To work around this, I created a new account, and while I now receive admin notifications, my account is too new to create an API. Meta forces interaction on the platform, with no dedicated entry for developers who just need API access without using Facebook socially.To make things worse, I tried to contact Developer Support, but even that access is blocked by Facebook’s algorithms. This system is completely broken, leaving developers stuck with no way to move forward. Meta needs to rethink how it supports the developer community.

Awful customer service and sharp practices

Got an email stating that I would be charged in sterling, at their exchange rate, plus a service fee.Took me half an hour to get through on telephone as impossible online. Operator was not English and conversation extremely difficult.She could not seem to grasp that I wanted to use a specific credit card and pay in euros.She said she would ring back, but never did!So, I have to start all over again!!!Sharp practice and awful customer service.

Dear Booking.com Customer Service,I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a serious issue with my recent reservation through your platform. The booking was made on January 5th, 2025, for the property "Home to Home" located in Plaistow, London, specifically chosen due to its close proximity to central London (only 25 minutes by underground). I was traveling with two toddlers (2 years old) and two elderly family members (both 70 years old), so convenience and location were crucial.Booking Details:Property: Home to Home, PlaistowBooking Total: £1,607.91 (after Booking.com discounts)Original Price Breakdown:Property: £1,322.38VAT (20%): £264.48Bed linens: £88Cleaning Fee: £60Genius Discount: £126.95Despite having booked this property several months in advance, I received no communication from the host until the day before my arrival, when I inquired about a crib for the babies. I received no reply to that inquiry. Then, to my shock, at 13:48 on the day of check-in (just over an hour before we were set to arrive), I was informed of a gas leak at the property and was told I would be relocated to another accommodation.Major Issues:Timing of Notification: This last-minute notice gave me no time or option to seek alternatives. It seems likely the original property had been unavailable well before my arrival date, based on my search of the host’s listings and their website.No Opportunity to Consent: I was not consulted or given the choice to approve the alternative. This is a violation of Booking.com's standard practices for guest consent in the event of major changes.Inferior Replacement Property:Located in Zone 4, over an hour from central London, versus the original Zone 3 location.Daily travel costs increased significantly.The property caused health concerns due to what appeared to be mold, and both I and my father experienced allergy symptoms during the stay.Noise issues from neighbors made it difficult to rest.Despite the clear downgrade, the host offered only a 20% refund, which I have repeatedly rejected as it is not reflective of the price difference or the inconvenience and distress caused.Actual Value Comparison:Original Property: £1,607.91 (after Booking discounts)Replacement Property Estimated Value (including Booking benefits):Base: £1,438Genius Discount: -£257Mobile-Only Discount: -£103Booking.com Pays: -£83Final Price: approx. £1,039Resolution Requested:I am requesting a refund of the price difference of approximately £600, which represents the clear gap in value between the original and replacement properties. Because we are fed up of the Britnat tory propaganda that the BBC spouts on a daily basis which is opposite of what the Scottish electorate think. I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order with El Corte. Christmas present order was placed mid Nov 2021 with a delivery date given as within 2 weeks. 4 emails to chase it and all I get are apologies and that the order is on its way. Now the 11th March and still not received. They are atrocious and customer services simply lie.

Seit wir die SPD an der Regierung haben, geht es nur Berg ab. Wir als mittelständische Betrieb müssen schon schließen, weil wir die Stromkosten und die Gaskosten nicht mehr bezahlen können Sie es und es ist keine Hilfe in Sicht. Es bekommt nur die großen Betriebe für 7. Cent die kleinen Betriebe und die Museen müssen schauen, wie sie zurecht kommen. Erst die Virus Grippe, die uns alles genommen hat und jetzt das nächste Leid und übe jetzt an über 0,40 € an Energiekosten Strom und Gas 0,22 €. Da kommen noch die ganzen Umlagen drauf wer will das noch bezahlen und die großen bekommen es für sieben Cent wo ist die Gerechtigkeit vom Gesetz sind alle gleich. Was haben wir für Politiker die App die sollten sich schämen. Wir müssen unser Museum schon schließen, weil wir die Kosten nicht mehr tragen können von den vielen Lichtern und Lampen, wo die Exponate angestrahlt werden . Kultur wird mit den Füßen getreten, aber bald hat Deutschland keine Kultur mehr. Sie müssen ihre Schätze schon ins Ausland verkaufen und hergeben die gestohlenen Sachen aus Afrika. Viele haben es bis jetzt richtig gemacht ins Ausland da gibt es Länder. Da zahlt man drei Cent fürs Kilowatt Strom in Fern Ost und Westgas sechs Cent. Aber irgendwann gibt die Kuh keine Milch mehr da kann man melken soviel man will Unverschämtheit nur Gelaber, aber das schnelle handeln, das bleibt aus.

I want to deposit buy crypto from my UK bank but my bank won't send the money to Coinbase! I've asked repeatedly but they keep cancelling. Are they allowed to do this? It's my money and I want to transfer some to CB. My bank won't let me deal with CB at all. Who can I talk to about this?

Sent my ROG Phone in with a cracked camera glass. Technician assessment is that the whole camera need to be replace and best part, the camera is part of the LCD module. It's fine by me as they are the "experts".Proceeded with the repairs and have been waiting for three weeks when I told them I need it urgently as I have to head overseas. But still, no reply from them and I'm kept in the dark on this matter.Best to think twice before sending your Asus device for repair. As they are the "experts" in deciding what is damaged when the obvious is there and they take their bloody own sweet time despite you telling them it's urgent.
