I’ve never had a more frustrating experience with a booking platform. I contacted Booking.com a full week before our reservation was set to begin, asking to reschedule—not cancel or request a refund. I was assured they would reach out to the hotel and follow up. After two long phone calls totaling over two hours, they finally responded—but not until after the reservation had already begun—saying the hotel wouldn’t approve a refund. That was never the request. We simply asked to move the dates. When I called the hotel myself, they couldn’t have been clearer: they were more than willing to accommodate a new date, but Booking.com had to process the change because the reservation was made through them. I relayed this back to Booking.com—and was met with the same scripted response. What followed was an infuriating loop of blame-shifting, with neither party taking action.This was especially disappointing considering we’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and have always had a positive experience—until now.I’ve now spent over five hours on the phone trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward request. Despite this, Booking.com has still failed to facilitate the rebooking. Even the hotel’s offer of a credit—around $4,000—is currently in limbo because it again hinges on Booking.com’s cooperation.At this point, the whole experience feels less like poor customer service and more like a deliberate runaround. There is no real accountability, no escalation path, and certainly no urgency to assist loyal customers. I’ve used Booking.com in the past, but after this, I won’t be using them again—and I’ll be warning others to do the same.

havent got a clue what they are doing. I tried to disable two step verification due to not having access to old number. The system then blocked my account i called and they said it takes 24hrs 3 weeks later im now told theres an issue on there side and might take another week or so but still taking my membrship money avoid at all costs amazon isnt the comapny it use to be

"Privacy" means $ to them so they aint giving anything away. You can search the web for articles like the FT on "How top health websites are sharing sensitive data with advertisers" and their commercial partners

Looking at the reviews one might think this browser was safe and effective but like most shiny things nowadays Brave has a very DARK side. I went to a lot of trouble reading all the glowing reviews of this not realizing that they were mostly full of lies and here is why. Brave installer both supposed offline installer and online one won't actually install a browser before first installing a number of background applications that constantly try to go online and exchange data in the background. Supposedly this is to update the program they have not even installed. That's suspicious on its own. If you download the latest version of an offline installer it should just install the program as advertised not spy on your computer. The installer also fills your registry with seemingly hundreds of entry's designed to at will exchange data in the background. I have just spent a valuable hour of my time cleaning up the mess of seemingly spyware that the so called brave offline installed spewed all over my computer.Best advice I can offer to any other possible victims of BRAVE is to take all the positive reviews out there as having a big MINUS Sign in front of the Star Rating.

I would give customer service a zero. I will use my points and not purchase from them again. Stupid system of continuously changing certificates to points and back. Takes customer’s time and effort; won’t you to lose what you earned! Ridiculous!Four different representatives LIED to me about documentation of placing notes about case in my file ( product under warranty SECOND time not working; Their Brand). Each time, I called for update I was told there were NO updates entered! By 4 different employees; NOT ACCEPTABLE. Each kept me on phone for inordinate amount of time; probably so they didn’t have to help any one else! ALL call centers should have technicians that are able to mute background noise. I am no longer purchasing from vendors that do not consider this.Also, shipping delivery should have comment section for directions. For me, leave at apt door; medically necessary. In addition, our lobby has a lot of songs that day, “ Do Not Leave Packages in Lobby”. Best Buy is on the list of closing stores. They have a very limited time frame for returns, stocking fee, do not accommodate for ADA compliance for customers needs, plus service is awful 😢 I truly hope management reads this or whomever buys them out!
