They send no prior auto-renewal… and no refunds

They send no prior auto-renewal notification and then charge you for the whole year. When you ask them for a refund just minutes after being charged (because you forgot to cancel auto-renewal), they tell you it's against their policies. I think it's stupid to lose a loyal and paying customer just because the customer needs to wait for auto-renewal.I used to like Zoom. Not anymore. Luckily, there are plenty of good competitors. Bye Zoom.

Designed to get you hooked at expense of learning

Despite spending approximately an hour per day for 5 years continuously on Duolingo, I am unable to hold a normal conversation. As others have said the tool is based on earning points and gets you hooked on performing well in a league table. Once you've invested as much time as I have the tool goes into repetitive mode, which I thought was probably because I hadn't subscribed. But since subscribing, the tool is the same. I am now successfully weaning myself off the programme. It's a useful tool but in no way helpful if you want to speak spanish in every day settings

Take note how on every review site DoorDash has a much worse rating than the other delivery companies and it's because they are the worst. They took money without delivering and refused refund, that's theft and their low rating is well deserved.

Channel 4 is a remainer!

I must say that I use to enjoy the impartiality of channel 4 before. However, It is so disappointing that since Brexit it is apparent that channel 4 is a remouner and never reflected the Brexit views and any positive opinion about Brexit is cut short or any guest supporting Brexit will struggle to make their point as they are interrupted or over talked by the presenter, specially Christnan G Murphy (very rude).

Laptop repair

Bought two HP Envy laptops. The hinge on one failed, fortunately within guarantee, and was repaired.Now the hinge on the second has failed, outside guarantee. So:- You cannot telephone HP to report a problem without setting up a payment.- The chat function is awful, someone somewhere is handling at least ten chats simultaneously. So each step takes 10-15 minutes. After an hour I gave up.- With considerable persistence they quoted near £300 to repair - a hinge, for goodness sake - My claim that there is clearly a design fault was ignored.Nightmare company.

They will alter transactions present a post that was not there but in their defense it is. They froze my account I had no access code not access was granted to third parties. Wells Fargo not only did such but as well they refused to close my accounts Then they showed I had 7 more when they changed my address oh yes they changed my address just trash thieves

We switched to 1password for security concerns and wanted to cancel. They don't have a cancel button in the UI- you have to create a support request. They don't accept the cancellation either and try to fight it and make it as difficult as possible to leave. This is an excerpt from their reply:Also, in order to complete a process on your account for security purposes we need to confirm the information below please: - Name and Last Name - Email address associated to the account - Last 4 digits of the credit card - Proof of purchase of the product If you still want to discontinue your service, we can help you to cancel your account auto-renewal.

Capital One is Good

I started using Bits to build a trustful credit score, for which I had no practical improvements until my four months of usage paid on time. Then, I started using Experian and Credito Ltd to accelerate my credit score, which worked for me. I received a Zilch digital credit card, and in less than two months, I received the maximum allowance of £1500 over six weeks, which I have kept paying for all of them. Then I received an offer for a credit card from Ocean Capital One for £1000, and after summing up all the credit cards, I have more credit than my monthly salary, so I risked going bankrupt in the last few months. However, I had a way to speak with customer service, explaining how not to go bankrupt. They helped me by giving me more time to pay according to the policy, and I did not lose the credit score I gained. Now, American Express wants to sell me a credit card. This is way too much money, but as I understood, I should not reach the whole asset of all my credit cards; they want me to stay within 25% for each account and pay earlier to get better recognition and accelerate my credit score.

A monopoly most dont care about.

A monopoly, the size and scale of Telstra, needs to be made illegal. I live on Magnetic Island. A beautiful part of Australia, that will NEVER have NBN fibre connected to it. The locals of this island (my Mum's lived here for 10 yrs, and the dropout issue has never been rectified) have suffered with 20 year old ADSL, that floods due to big rains, and constantly drops ADSL SYNC every 5 minutes. I'm not connected thru Telstra however. I'm with DODO, who, aren't any better than Telstra customer service and constantly give me the run around every 3 months this service decides to cark it! I refuse to sign up with Telstra because they simply dont care about its disgraceful infrastructure. Only its remarkable profits, by being the sole cable provider on this island, not to mention, NBNCO not having an actual clue about how woeful Australia's internet service is! Hell, even third world countries have faster speeds than 5 mbps on a half stable day. And I'm paying $90/MONTH, for a service that drops out every 10 minutes. ON ADSL! NO NOT NBN. No plans of upgrading or repairing the crappy copper lines that are exposed above ground, and setup by CONTRACTED techs who are only allocated 15 mins to every callout, to fix issues, not at MY HOUSE, (still charging ME $150 when I was assured by DODO they wouldnt) but down the street at the "pit" of line connections that looks like rats and vermin might be super comfy eating, shitting and sleeping all over the residents cables, seriously degrading connection quality and increasing "line noise". TELSTRA, IF YOU READ THIS, GET A LIFE, GET OVER YOURSELVES AS BEING AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST! Because you lot are only one thing, AUSTRALIAS BIGGEST DISGRACE of a company. Upgrade ALL RURAL AND REMOTE AREAS TO CABLE NBN. Despite the "costs". Your arrogance and too big to fail attitude is why this site shows you fools for what you are. INCOMPETENT BUFFOONS. DAMN I WISH I COULD SWEAR! I HATE TELSTRA!! DOWN WITH THE MONOPOLY.
