Awful, would NEVER recommend them to anyone

I bought a laptop from HP online just before Christmas 2024. However it is not suitable for my needs. So I need to return it, I went to their webpage and tried to do an online chat for return/refund enquiries, but not only is it a robot but there is no way of even chatting about my issue, all it does is give you the option to call them or fill in a web form. I filled in the details and woe betide the page then directed me to a web form again and again. So I then called them, however no luck yet again, the number gives you four options: 1) Instant ink. 2) Sales. 3) Technical support. 4) Business customers only. Nowhere is there any way to contact their customer services via the phone and the supposed customer services number on Google doesn't exist, so I filled in another web form, this time I got an automated acknowledgement saying one of their team would contact me within 48 hours but guess what? Nobody did. Eventually I got a very abrupt email from them (A donotreply one) with a returns label to take it to my post office, this I did but the label isn't for a local post office, it is for Parcelforce, but my nearest depot is 16 miles away, I am disabled and do not drive so am unable to get there. I paid £600 for this laptop and want my money back but don't know what else to do.

Disgusted

EDIT 3 weeks after getting Telstra NBN. VERY DISGUSTED. NBN is dropping out every day on all of my devices. This has never before happened and it is really painful getting customer support to do anything about it. They keep making me do the same old test and refusing to send out a technician. Ridiculous. After 11 years with TPG internet and with deteriorating service, we finally switched to Telstra after researching other providers. The extra cost is worth every cent. It was easy to switch over because they did everything except plug in the modem. The communication and instructions were top notch and the modem arrived only a few days after I placed the order. They contact the current service provider so that saved that big headache. My TV reception is SO much sharper and the buffering is gone. Live chat was also easy to use which I cannot say for TPG. Very relieved!

Facebook is infested with lots of scammers. I have recently tried to report to Facebook about a person identity by the name of Justin Tan (originally from Kuala Lumpur and may be residing in Singapore now). Scammers have been using his photos to set up just about 8 different accounts and claimed to be a doctor. Many ladies had fell into his traps and some had managed to post in one of the account warning others about this "pig butchering scam". Facebook is not taking off their accounts because there was no explicit photos are found (that's how they replied me and there was no further area for me to explain to them and direct them to fund these scammers)! In order words, Facebook is not taking responsibility on their incapability to detect fraudulent accounts. At the end, scammers are having good and profitable time in this platform! Just wish Facebook can take serious and active steps to eliminate fake and fraudulent accounts from being created, to at least stop the world from infested with these crooks!
